Executioner pulled his leg out of the hole, twisting his ankle. He gritted his teeth and run to his window. He climbed in, shutting it behind.
" Bryce the target's ready. Two watchers are waiting. Be careful,"
Bryce nodded, his face in focus. He sprang into action, his body leaping from tree to tree.
Jaxon's attention was drawn to the bloodshed on the ground. He stare in shock as he took a bloody sight of dead bodies.
" What in the...?"
He rubbed his eyes, as if hoping the scene would vanish, but when he opened them again, the bodies lay there, lifeless and still.
" Assassins, get the bodies out of here! We'll investigate in the morning."
Jaxon commanded in furious.
Above Executioner watched from the window, his eyes locked on Jaxon. For a heart-stopping moment, their gazes seemed to meet, but Executioner pulled his head back, avoiding detection.
Jaxon turn and left the garden, and the assassins carry the dead bodies away. Executioner slightly climbed the bed, his ankle shooting pain. He collapsed onto the bed, deciding to rest for a bit. But exhaustion got the better of him, and he fell off to sleep.
A dark storm swept through his dream, casting a nightmare in his mind. Executioner saw himself transformed into an old man, his eyes glowing red like coals. His teeth sharpened into fangs, and wicked smile on his face. People around him screamed in fear, whispering " Raven is back" and "he's the devil's apprentice."
A dark cursed tattoo formed on all over his body, pulsing with an evil energy. It seemed to control him, forcing him to commit atrocities.
Executioner's dream-self killed without mercy, his action consumed by darkness.
Suddenly, he erupted from the nightmare, his heart pounding faster. He sat up with a start, sweat dripping down his face. " What...what was that?"
His eyes searching frantically around the room, half-expecting to see the devilish man from his dream.
Executioner's lips curled into wicked smile as he let out a low, threatening chuckle.
" Raaaaaaven…" He whispered, stretching out the name like a dark promise.
Voices whispering in his mind, their tones a jarring mix of hatred and desperation.
" He's gotta pay...make him suffer!"
" Please, have mercy..." one voice pleaded, only to be cut off by a cold, mirthless laugh.
" No way! wipe them out, Raven!"
Executioner's smile grew high, his eyes filled with dark intent. He strode over to his bag, his ankle healed. He pulled out his sword, the metal shinning and brighten in the light.
A violent jerk, he smashed the door to open and roared, " Raven!" The sound rung out through the halls, drawing the masters and assassins to his side.
As they approached, they were curious and shocked.
Executioner before them was no longer the four years wounded, limping boy. He stood at an imposing 5'9" , his frame overshadowing over some of the assassins.
He rested his sword on his shoulder, a smug smile playing on his lips. For a moment, he revealed in their fear, then removed the sword and posed, his eyes locked on his targets.
" You're all gonna die...and it wont be quick."
Jaxon's voice had a hint of condescension.
" Hey, Executioner, calm down. That soul inside you isn't really yours. It's just using you, but we can fix that."
Executioner's gaze lit up.
" You think you can help me? I dont need help. You're the one who needs to worry."
With explosion of speed. Executioner run forward like a ghost, his sword flashing in a flickering lanterns. He sliced through the assassin with deadly precision, his movements a fast pace of steel and blood.
One assassin's head rolled off his shoulders, another's body was split open, their intestines spilling out. Executioner's sword bit deep into a third, cutting him in two. He carved through the crowd, his laughter as wicked as it rang out.
Blood splattered everywhere, painting the walls and floor in crimson. The air was heavy with the stench of death. When the last assassin fell, Executioner stood panting, his body drenched in blood. His face was a mask of gore, his eyes radiating with madness.
He swiped a hand across his face, tasting the metallic tang of blood.
" Mmm, I like it,"
he murmured, his voice husky with pleasure.
With a quick flick, Executioner slashed his sword, sending wave of blood splashing onto the masters. They took a step back, their faces in anger.
" You're going to pay for that,"
Executioner just smile, his teeth red with blood.
" Oh this is what I want to hear, bring it on."
Executioner charged at the masters, his sword slicing through them with deadly attacks.
One master's head rolled off, leaving six more standing. Executioner let out a maniacal laugh and run away, leaping from tree to tree with an unsettling agility. His wicked cackles echoed the forest as he vanished.
The swordsmanship academy lay in ruins, bathed in blood. Every assassin was dead, their bodies strewn about like discarded trash.
Bryce and the two watchers returned, their faces etched with horror and sadness as they saw the scene. They walked gingerly through the slaughter, hands on their heads, searching for survivors.
As they approached the six masters kneeling beside their fallen friend.
" What happened here?"
Bryce asked, his voice cracked with emotion.
Jaxon stood up, his eyes blazing with anger.
" You're asking what happened? You brought that demon kid here! You are the one who unleashed this hell!"
Bryce took a step back,
" What are you talking about, Jaxon?"
Jaxon took a slow step forward, his voice dripping with venom.
" Don't play dumb, Bryce. You know exactly what I'm talking about. That kid...Executioner."
Bryce whispered, " Executioner."
Suddenly, a soft crackling sound came from the trees, and everyone's head snapped up, their eyes scanning the surroundings. the wind picked up, and the trees creaked ominously.
Bryce face suddenly changed from sad to shocked.
" What was that?"
