Chapter 34 - Chapter 34

Frozen Tundra Above the Mechanized Settlement

"Wuhu~!"

"Yahoo~!"

"Awesome!"

"Woohoo!"

"Lumine! Slow down! I'm about to fly off!"

Several snowmobiles zipped across the snowy plains, spraying white powder behind them.

The riders were none other than Stelle, March 7th, Lumine, Amber, Eula, and Hu Tao.

Seele and Bronya were unavailable today and didn't join them.

Stelle, March 7th, and Hu Tao each rode a snowmobile on their own.

Lumine had Paimon riding pillion, and Amber was giving Eula a lift.

Paimon clung tightly to Lumine's waist, strapped in with a safety belt. She was utterly stunned from fright.

Eula wasn't faring much better. Although her face remained calm, she was silently regretting everything inside.

Just a moment ago, Stelle had suggested something "exciting"—racing full throttle up a slope several dozen meters high and launching the snowmobiles into the air.

They had literally flown for over ten seconds before hitting the ground again. At that moment, Eula had instantly regretted joining the ride.

Why did I join in on this madness?! No—this is all Amber's fault for dragging me here!

Back at the temporary camp…

Ye Yun was building snowmen with Klee, Hook, and Diona.

Klee had placed Dodoco nearby, and the three little ones were carefully crafting a snowman in Dodoco's likeness, checking their work against the real thing as they built.

And honestly? It looked pretty accurate.

Not far away, Himeko was helping Clara assemble a mecha.

Today, Clara wanted to test how much she'd learned recently, so she had asked Ye Yun for a bunch of materials.

Ye Yun didn't charge her a single coin.

Ye Yun: "Clara needs parts for a robot? Take whatever you want!"

Himeko examined Clara's blueprints and had to admit—her design was clever.

The robot on the blueprint had been named "Family Unit" by Clara.

It was humanoid in shape and equipped with medical capabilities for treating basic injuries.

Clara worked hard, tightening screws with a wrench. Her small face was smudged with black oil, but she didn't mind at all—completely focused on the task at hand.

After about half an hour, Clara finally finished the assembly.

Excited, she activated the Family Unit.

The next moment, the robot came to life.

"Hello, Clara."

Clara jumped with joy.

"Hello, Family Unit! Sister Himeko! I did it!"

Himeko smiled warmly. Clara's talent for mechanics truly was extraordinary.

"Congrats, congrats. Now let's test its functions."

Clara nodded and ran over to Svarog.

"Mr. Svarog, could you please find some injured people for me? I want to test the healing functions."

Svarog, hearing this, immediately sent out several mechs to search for wounded individuals in the settlement.

Soon, a few "traffic light" bots brought back a group of injured people.

Under their guidance, the injured formed a line, waiting to be treated.

Clara had Family Unit begin its work.

A few minutes later, Clara cheered in delight.

Under Family Unit's care, the injuries were fully healed.

The robot was equipped with a nano-healing device, the same model used on the Herta Space Station.

Basically, unless someone was already dead, it could bring them back.

Elsewhere…

Stelle and the girls skidded to a stylish stop on their snowmobiles in front of Ye Yun.

Grinning, Stelle called out:

"Ye Yun, give me a call when it's almost time to eat, we're going to check out a more distant spot."

Ye Yun nodded.

"Sure. Any cravings for lunch?"

Stelle immediately raised her hand.

"Spicy hot pot!"

Ye Yun gave her a playful glare.

"Nope. You just had that not long ago. Maybe in a few days."

Stelle instantly drooped.

"My precious hot pot…"

March 7th chuckled.

"Just make what you think's good, Ye Yun. Call us when it's time. We're going racing again!"

Ye Yun replied, "Alright—but be careful."

The girls answered in unison and sped off into the snowy wilderness.

"Wuhuuuuu!!"

"Charge!!"

"Lumine!!! I want to go back!!!"

Not far from Belobog…

Topaz and Jade descended from their starship with a large group of Interastral Peace Corporation staff.

Topaz looked at Jade.

"You came too?"

Jade smiled gently.

"Of course. I came to visit a friend. You go handle your business—I'll find mine."

Topaz recalled the little girl Jade had mentioned before—Clara.

During the journey, she had often seen Jade chatting with her.

"Alright, let's head into the city first."

Topaz looked down at Belobog at the foot of the mountain.

"Hard to believe humans have a settlement in such harsh conditions."

Jade smiled.

"In time, this place won't be so harsh anymore. It's all up to you, little Elina."

Topaz proudly patted her chest.

"Leave it to me."

Just then, the distant roar of engines reached their ears.

Topaz asked,

"Jade, did you hear that? Sounds like motorcycles?"

Jade pointed to a nearby valley.

"Probably coming from there."

The staff of the Peace Corporation quickly stood guard around Topaz and Jade.

Moments later, Stelle and the others burst from the valley on their snowmobiles.

Seeing a crowd ahead, Stelle skidded to a stop.

The others followed suit.

Then, a squad leader from the Interastral Peace Corporation stepped forward.

"Stop! Turn back the way you came! Or learn firsthand how powerful the IPC really is!"

With two "big shots" present, the squad leader wanted to show off—no way would he let a few reckless girls cause trouble.

Stelle jumped off her snowmobile, hands on her hips.

"You tell me to turn back and I have to? That'd be a disgrace to me—Galaxy Baseballer! Move aside! I want to ride through!"

Amber, Eula, Lumine, and Hu Tao looked at March 7th curiously.

"March, who are these Interastral Peace people?"

March 7th explained:

"They're basically a huge business corporation. The strongest one in our world. They follow the Aeon of Preservation."

The girls finally understood.

March stood beside Stelle.

"Yeah! You guys are way too nosy! Move it, missy wants to pass!"

The squad leader, seeing no compromise, prepared to act.

"Everyone—seize these girls!"

In an instant, a swarm of IPC staff charged forward.

Stelle raised an eyebrow.

Oho~ this could be fun. Alright then, let's warm up a little—time to test the new moves Ye Yun taught me!

"Judgment Of Shamash, Unleashed"

Her sword, Judgment Of Shamash, transformed into its greatsword form.

Then she shouted again—

"Judgment of Shamash: Annihilation!"

Judgment of Shamash transformed into its final form—Annihilation Mode.

Stelle swung the sword down.

A terrifying wave of energy swept forward.

***

Half an hour after Stelle unleashed theJudgment of Shamash: Annihilation!

More than half of the personnel from the Intergalactic Peace Company who came this time were either dead or injured.

This was thanks to Topaz and Jade's intervention, who managed to block this strike. Otherwise, all the employees of the Intergalactic Peace Company present would have probably been wiped out.

Even though they blocked Stelle's attack, both Topaz and Jade were still injured.

Stelle stared in disbelief at the destruction her strike had caused.

"Hiss! This is bad! I think I've caused a disaster!"

Inside Beloberg, the citizens were in a panic, hiding in their homes as they watched the hellfire just a thin line away from the city.

The once ice fields had now turned into a sea of fire, with flames burning fiercely.

Trees were falling in the flames, and the snow was melting in the heat.

Even the recently defrosted Void and other dimension-breaking monsters were completely consumed by the fire.

Bronya, Seele, and gepard stood at the gates of Beloberg.

At this moment,

Ye Yun, along with Lios, was also present.

Just earlier, it was Ye Yun and Lios who had intervened to stop the flames from reaching the city.

"Ye Yun, what are you doing here?"

Ye Yun chuckled helplessly.

"I'm here to clean up the mess."

Bronya was a bit confused.

"Mess?"

Ye Yun wiped his face helplessly and pointed to the distant sea of fire.

"Most likely, this was caused by Stelle."

Bronya was a bit surprised upon hearing this.

"Stelle? What happened?"

As she thought, Bronya suddenly recalled the Stellaron inside Stelle.

"Could it be related to the Stellaron inside her?"

Ye Yun shook his head.

"No, if it were the Stellaron, it wouldn't have caused this scene. It should have been Stelle's Judgment of Shamash.

By the way, I think I also have some responsibility in this. It's a move I taught her, but I forgot to remind her that it's a bit too powerful."

Bronya was speechless and didn't know what to say.

Ye Yun gave a wry smile.

"Alright, alright. I'm here to clean up the mess, right? Look on the bright side, once the fire is gone, you'll have extra land to farm and live on."

Bronya's face lit up with excitement.

"That's right! After the flames are gone, this land will be free of snow and ice!"

She quickly ordered Jepard to gather people, planning to develop this land as soon as the flames cleared.

Even if it couldn't be farmed immediately, at least they could establish a residential area.

At the incident site.

Stelle was visibly panicking.

Stelle silently deactivated the Judgment of Shamash's calamity form, turning it back into its dual-gun shape and stowing it away.

March 7 swallowed heavily.

"Stelle, that move was a bit too extreme, don't you think?"

Stelle didn't know what to say at first.

"Uh, well…"

At this moment, Lumine, who had been silently rubbing her chin, spoke up.

"At times like this, I think we should just run. What do you think?"

The girls exchanged looks and then jumped on their snowmobiles, twisting the throttle and speeding off.

Topaz and Jade, seeing that Stelle was just running away, were furious.

"Hey! Are they just running off like this?" Topaz stomped her feet in anger.

Jade slightly adjusted her attire.

"This isn't anyone else's fault. It was your subordinate who started it first, Little Jelena."

Topaz, upon hearing this, realized that it was indeed her own subordinates who had provoked others first.

After they returned, she would have to train her subordinates properly to prevent such situations in the future.

Leaving a few people to clean up the site and guard the warship, Jade and Topaz led the rest to Belobog.

Back on the snowmobiles.

Stelle and the girls were heading back along the same route.

At this point, Stelle received a call from Yeyun.

"Hello? Ye Yun, why are you calling me?"

Ye Yun asked, "Where are you?"

Hearing the tone, Stelle immediately got a bad feeling. Oh no! This sounds like a reprimand!

"I-I'm at the Mechanical Settlement."

Stelle nervously lied, feeling guilty.

Ye Yun sighed in response.

"Right, I know. It's a move I taught you. Come to the administrative district. I'll be waiting for you."

After hanging up, Stelle, now fully aware of what was coming, took March 7 and the others to the administrative district.

A few minutes later, at the entrance of Beloberg.

Ye Yun waved at the group.

"Stelle, what's going on? Did you encounter enemies?"

Stelle nodded.

"Yeah, we ran into the company's people, and they made the first move!"

Stelle quickly explained the situation, trying to shift the blame onto the Intergalactic Peace Company.

Upon hearing "the company," Ye Yun already had a rough idea.

It was probably Topaz coming to settle accounts.

Seele frowned slightly.

"The company's people? How did they end up here?"

Ye Yun replied, "I'm not sure, but we'll wait here. If I'm right, their destination should be here—Belobog."

Seele agreed with Yeyun's guess.

There was only one human habitation zone on the planet, Belobog, which was where they had to go.

Not long later.

Topaz and Emerald, leading a large group of Intergalactic Peace Company personnel, arrived.

Topaz, seeing Stelle here, was furious and charged forward.

"I can't believe you're here! Guards! Get them!"

Stelle immediately turned to Ye Yun, saying, "You saw that! They started it first!"

Then, Stelle drew out her Judgment of Shamash and was ready to attack.

Ye Yun sighed, instantly moving to block Topaz. He grabbed her by the ear and dragged her to him, restraining her.

"Don't attack yet, there might be a misunderstanding."

Ye Yun released Topaz, allowing her to return to her team.

Topaz, ready to roll up her sleeves, was stopped by Jade.

"Alright, Little Jelena, leave this to me. I'll go negotiate."

Emerald walked up to Yeyun.

"Hello, I'm Jade. Pleased to meet you."

Ye Yun smiled.

"Hello, I'm Ye Yun."

Jade looked at Ye Yun and then at the group of girls behind him.

Suddenly, her pupils shrank as she noticed the special "ticket" hanging from Stelle, realizing Ye Yun and the others' true identities.

"I didn't expect the famous Nameless Guest to be here on this planet."

"Well, it makes sense," Ye Yun replied. "This planet was once corrupted by the Stellaron. With your Nameless Guest's usual style, you wouldn't have just stood by."

Jade smiled lightly.

"I came to see a friend, but Topaz is here for company business."

Ye Yun was a bit confused.

"A friend?"

Jade nodded slightly and looked over at Clara.

"Clara, your sister is here."

Clara, who was a bit dazed, looked at Jade and wondered how she knew her.

Jade, seeing that Clara didn't recognize her, took out her phone and sent Clara a message.

A moment later, Clara's phone rang.

Clara looked at the message from "Jade" and was taken aback.

Jade: Clara, sister is here.

Clara, finally recognizing the message, looked at Jade in shock.

"You're… Jade?"

Jade chuckled lightly.

"That's right, Clara."
