Chapter 1 - Arrival

A Small Town Called Coastbrook, Far From Coast.

Time Is Mudnight.

Something Lands On A Field Noiseless As If Not To Startle And Wake Anyone. An Oval Black And Silver Speckless Metallic Object As Big As A Small Bed That Did Not Resemble Anything Of This World.

Simultaneously Just A Few Hundred Metres Away. A Portal With Unknown Symbols Opened, Out Came Two Silhouettes With An....Oval....Egg? Bigger Than Egg Of Any Alive Species, Something Of The Size Of A Dinosaur Egg. They Kept It On What Seemed To Be The Back/Second Entrance/Exit Door Of A House. The Egg Was Not White, It Was Colourful. The Pair/Couple Left After Lingering A Bit, Into The Portal And It Closed.

Ronald Sanders, A Dutiful Cop Of This Town Where Rarely Anything Eventful Happens. Early To Bed, Early To Rise Disciplined Middle Aged Man. But He Woke Up Early Due To Some Muscle Spasms. And Decided To Stretch And Take A Walk, His Wife Asleep . In The Field Right Beside His House.

The Air In These Rural Parts Are Quite Clean, And Stars Visible. As Ronald Continued To Walk He Saw Something Strange Laying At The Centre Of The Field. Curious He Went To Check. He Was Soon ByThe Oval Glossy Thing. Trying To Make Out What It Is He Gave It A Poke With A Stick/Twig He Found Nearby. And As If Starting A Chain Reaction, The Thing Made A Sort Of Sound And The Top Of The Thing Slid Open Revealing An Infant In The High-tech Cavity/Chamber Inside This Thing, Full Of Numerous Machines And Displays, But Different Than Anything He Had Seen. Very Much Like A Human Baby. Asleep. Always A Sharp Witted And Cautious Cop Was Listening To His Emotions. He Bent Down And Carefully Scooped The Baby Up And Took Him Home, Lay Him On The Bed Beside His Asleep Wife, With Pillows To Make Sure He Did Not Fall. He Would Later Come And Drag The Oval Thing Into His Garage With The Help Of His Jeep And Rope.

Few Hundred Meters Away.

Sasha Rose, A Primary School Teacher. Kids Loved Her From Her Demeanor. She Was A Bit Late Today To Go To Sleep While Checking Essays Written By The Kids Of Her Class. Sometimes Giggling And Sometimes Smiling. When A Light Flashed And Was Soon Gone. Scared She Thought Of Waking Her Husband But Let Him Sleep As She Knew He Was Tired From Coaching The Baseball Kids All Day Long.

Cautiously She Went To The Front Door To Have A Look, After Checking The Rest Of The House, She Found Nothing. Relieved, She Finally Checked The Back Door Expecting Nothing But What She Found Made Her Think She Was Dreaming. A Colourful Egg Carrying A Baby. Confused She Checked Outside A Little. But Always The Empathetic Lady, She Scooped The Baby Fearing Her To Be Catching Cold And Took Her Inside And Later Dragging The Egg Too, With One Hand While Other Carried The Baby Which Was A Bit Heavy For A Hollow Empty Egg.

Thus Began Two Life Journeys Of Two Babies Similar Yet Very Different.
