Chapter 19 - Chapter 19: "That guy who you were going to introduce me to that day, is he here?"

The scene unfolds at the racetrack, a place usually buzzing with adrenaline and excitement. It was the end of the long week, and Seo-Jun found himself in a fierce competition. Despite the thrill of the race, his mind was elsewhere, tangled in distractions that threatened to derail his focus. As he battled against his rival, he felt the weight of his preoccupations almost cost him the victory. Yet, in a surprising turn, he managed to clinch the win, but not without a storm brewing inside him.

As he crossed the finish line, a mix of relief and anger surged through him. In a fit of frustration, he ripped off his helmet, the sound echoing in the air, and stormed toward his tent, brushing aside the cheers of the crowd. The jubilant atmosphere felt distant, overshadowed by his inner turmoil.

Once inside the tent, he began to strip off his racing suit with a fervour that matched his anger. Just then, Sam entered, sensing the tension. With a sigh, he asked, "Hey, what's gotten into you these days?" Seo-Jun remained silent, his back turned, focusing solely on shedding the remnants of the race that had just concluded.

Sam pressed on, noting the obvious change in Seo-Jun's demeanour. "You have been very distracted and can't focus even on the track. Not to mention your attitude…" The words hung heavily, and Seo-Jun's simmering anger bubbled to the surface. He shot back, sharp and cold, "I am fine." refusing to meet Sam's gaze.

Sam felt his own frustration rising, aware of the underlying issues plaguing Seo-Jun but knowing he wouldn't get through to him easily. "It's because of that Phoenix's boy, right?" he probed, hoping to break through the wall Seo-Jun had erected around himself.

Sam then added, his voice steady but probing, "Your sex buddy?" The determination in his tone was clear, a clear attempt to pry open Seo-Jun's tightly sealed emotions. But Seo-Jun was losing his temper, a storm brewing beneath his calm expression. With a growl that vibrated with irritation, he shot back, "It's none of your business. Now shut up." The words were clipped as he hastily put on his shirt and pants, the fabric rustling sharply in the tense silence that enveloped them.

Undeterred, Sam leaned in, his curiosity outweighing the caution that should have accompanied Seo-Jun's clear warning. "Soo, it is because of him. Did you guys have a fight or what?" The question hung in the air, thick with unspoken tension. Seo-Jun's composure shattered like glass, he could no longer contain the anger that bubbled just beneath the surface. In a swift, almost primal motion, he seized a water bottle from the bench and launched it at Sam with all of his strength. It whizzed past Sam, missing him by mere inches, and the sudden movement made Sam flinch.

Realising he had crossed the line, Sam fell silent, the weight of Seo-Jun's rage hanging heavy between them. But just as quickly as the storm had risen, Seo-Jun's expression shifted. A sinister smirk crept across his face, dark and calculating, as he turned around, his eyes narrowing with a cold intensity. "That guy who you were going to introduce me to that day, is he here?" he asked, his voice dripping with malice. The air crackled with tension, and Sam could feel the meaning of Seo-Jun's gaze, filled with an unsettling anger.

Seo-Jun then started walking towards Sam and the exit of the tent, his voice cold and commanding as he said, "Find him." With that, he left the tent, leaving a palpable tension in the air. Sam sighed deeply, shaking his head in frustration, before he too exited the tent, the weight of the situation heavy on his shoulders as he understood which guy Seo-Jun was talking about.

Moments later, Seo-Jun and the guy were inside the tent that was the furthest away from the track, a designated area for intimate moments - for relieving stress caused by the races. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation as they began having sex. Seo-Jun posited himself straight behind the other guy. As the guy bent forward, Seo-Jun gripped the guy's hip, ensuring he was the one to control their bodies' movements. He then put his cock inside the guy's ass without waiting for him to prepare himself to take him in.

After the first put in, their breaths grew heavier with exertion. The other guy was clearly enjoying the moment, a wide grin on his face as he shared, "I knew you would come for me eventually..." Seo-Jun, however, remained focused and somewhat aloof, quickening his pace without responding. The other guy started moaning from the pleasure, he had been waiting for this for weeks. He then exclaimed, "It was worth the waiting." As they picked up the speed, Seo-Jun pushed them both to go faster and harder, the adrenaline surging through them as they embraced the intensity of the sex.

Seo-Jun's expression remained unbothered, revealing nothing about whether he was actually enjoying the sex or simply biding his time until he heard his name being said by the guy. The guy, however, was relentless in his chatter. Despite the heavy rhythm of their breaths and the pain in his back caused by the speed of Seo-Jun's cock movements, he managed to blurt out, "I thought you had—" but Seo-Jun was in desperate need of quiet, wanting only to focus on the sound of the guy's moans. Frustrated, he quickly pressed his hand over the guy's mouth and snapped, "Shut it! Your talking is going to give me a headache." The guy, startled by the sudden sharpness of Seo-Jun's words, fell into an uneasy silence.

As Seo-Jun continued pulling his dick in and out, desperate to feel the pleasure of finally coming and feeling relieved after a long week of constant stress, the other guy's excitement seemed to escalate with each passing moment. Suddenly, he shouted, "Seo-Jun… faster…"

That was the tipping point for Seo-Jun. His face contorted into a look of pure disgust, and without a word, he abruptly stopped and pulled his dick out. The guy, taken aback by the sudden stop, shouted, "Hey! Why did you stop?!" Seo-Jun, already seething with irritation, took a moment to collect himself. He adjusted his pants and, with a cold glare, replied, "Leave. I am not in a mood anymore." The tension hung in the air, thick and uncomfortable, as Seo-Jun's frustration grew, ready to boil over.

The guy was completely stunned, fumbling to pull up his pants as he shouted, "WHAT?! But it was going so well! I could feel that you were enjoying it too!" Seo-Jun rolled his eyes, trying to keep his composure. "I told you I am not in a mood anymore. Get out." he said firmly, turning to grab his jacket from the bench behind.

But the guy, clearly not ready to back down, lost his cool. Instead of taking the hint and leaving, he yelled, "You, asshole! I was waiting for you for weeks, and you're just going to stop in the middle of the fuck?!" Seo-Jun had reached his limit. In one swift motion, he turned around, seized the guy's hair, and slammed his head onto the bench hard, a fierce look in his eyes as he said, "You've been running your mouth since we started. Did you forget who I am?"

The smirk on Seo-Jun's face was chilling, and the guy's confidence evaporated in an instant. Fear washed over him, and he fell silent, realising he had crossed a line. Seo-Jun then lifted the guy's head just enough for him to see the shadows outside the tent—the silhouettes of security guards patrolling, ensuring that no one dared to disturb Seo-Jun.

Seo-Jun's grip tightened around the guy's hair, his eyes filled with fury. "Do you see those guys?" he spat, his voice low and threatening. The tension in the air was growing as he leaned in closer, his breath hot with anger. "With one word, I can kick you out of here and make your whole life a living hell. Don't get on my nerves! Now, piss off!" He released the guy's hair with a shove, turning around sharply.

The guy stumbled back, shaking off the shock as he stood up. He touched his face and felt a bruise had formed from where he was slammed against the bench, a reminder of his unappreciated behaviour in front of Seo-Jun. Panic surged through him as he quickly gathered his belongings, his hands trembling, and bolted out of the tent, eager to escape the intensity of the moment.

A few seconds later, Seo-Jun stepped out of the tent, his mind racing with thoughts of the altercation. He headed straight to his racing tent, where Sam was waiting. Sam was perched on the bench, staring at his phone, but the moment Seo-Jun entered, he stood up, his expression shifting from casual to curious. Seo-Jun's face was a storm of anger and frustration, and Sam, sensing the tension, asked, "Not compatible?" trying to gauge the situation.

Seo-Jun didn't utter a single word as he strode over to the metal wardrobe, the sound of his footsteps echoing in the tense atmosphere of the tent. He yanked the door open and pulled out his racing suit, the fabric cool against his skin as he began to put it on. Each movement was precise, almost mechanical, as he fastened the straps and adjusted the fit, a physical manifestation of his inner turmoil.

Sam stood there, watching the scene unfold, and a heavy sigh escaped his lips. He thought to himself, "I see... he will be grumpy and distracted until he finds a new fucking buddy. And I am the one who is supposed to put up with him being like this. Just great!" The weight of the situation pressed down on him, and he shook his head in disbelief at the cycle that seemed to repeat itself. Realising that Seo-Jun needed space to cool off, he decided to leave the tent, stepping out into the fresh air and away from the tension.

As the flaps of the tent closed behind Sam, Seo-Jun felt a wave of frustration wash over him. The thought of the new guy being so unsatisfactory compared to Minho was infuriating. He couldn't help but feel that he had to dig deeper to find what he was looking for, and the pressure of the upcoming race - that he himself decided to compete in, out of the blue - only intensified his irritation. Each second felt like a reminder of what he was missing, and with every breath, his anger simmered just below the surface, waiting to boil all over again.
