I went home, dropped my bag in my room directly, and avoiding my family's chit chat as usual. I was always too bored to hear the nonsense happening in the dynasty. I spent most of my time in my room only, either taking to Ahad or writing notes. I have been always fascinated by the medieval era of India. India's history is rich in culture, art, architecture, and so much more! I've always looked for suspense, romanticism, unsolved mysteries.
Questions constantly popped into in my mind -- was it possible that sometime, somehow, somewhere, a prince could have fallen desperately in love with girl of an ordinary family and never ended up with her. Or, a queen falling hopelessly in love with a boy of no royal blood running in hid veins! And, how heartless were those who, in leading a revolution against a greedy and unjust king, went as far as wiping out his entire family, including innocent members who bore no blame for his actions, such as in the case of Tsar Nicolas II, Louis XVII(young son of louis XVI), died in captivity under harsh conditions, and many other royal relatives were exiled or killed. Bahadur Shah II (the last Mughal Emperor) was deposed by the British. His sons and grandsons, despite being largely uninvolved in political decisions, were executed to eliminate any possibility of a future revolt.
