Chapter 10 - Tail-End Teasing!

Here it comes, approaching. Mina seemed to almost be confused about how such a thing was possible. A teenager without those? Seemingly, in her eyes, Tris seemed more unnatural than she originally thought... was it such a big thing, though?

Yes, yes, it was. The bomb's fuse was burning, and the big boom was approaching as he just stared at Mina, making a short prayer in his mind.

It did not take long, Mina seemed to take a deep breath in preparation. Her gaze could rewrite existence. Or Tris was being dramatic. Probably the second option.

"... YOU DON'T?! ALRIGHT, BOY, WE ARE MAKING YOU AN ACCOUNT RIGHT NOW. AND POSTING ALL THOSE PRETTY PICTURES IN YOUR GALLERY!"

Mina spoke out, blinking in an almost dramatic way. Moving her hands into the air as well! Clearly making her point in front of the confused fox.

"I don't have photos of myself in my gallery. . ."

He mumbled, hoping that would shut her down, but she blinked like a frog once again. Why a frog? No idea, Tris probably just needed to bully her with something.

"You are NOT a teenager. . . You're a wild animal, holy heck. – Yeah, no, we're taking photos of you right now. With your fluff out. Ladies are into femboys."

Those words were BLUNT, like she was dedicated to telling it to the entire world, while Tris just blinked once, twice, thrice. You could swear his body left to file a complaint to the first Sol god himself.

The poor boy was left wordless, he was not even a femboy! He was just fluffy, nothing else. JUST fluffy.

"I'm sorry. – What. SO GOD DAMN RUDE- I'm not a femboy!"

Tris's ears flickered clearly; this time, she was bothersome. Such insults she uttered, such rudeness, this lady was a mere devil!

"Aww, then what are you hm? All fluffy with a tail, fits the description, boy!"

Mina spoke with a grin, clearly pestering him had now become a hobby of hers within one day. But she also clearly has taken a cling to her lovely little fluffy brother.

"... I'm leaving. Fluff you."

The boy spoke, simply turning on his heels and LEAVING, giving a small huff. – In the back, Mina was clearly laughing. In the end, he didn't leave due to her; it was getting late, and he does need to prep for Monday in the end.

Fen gave a laugh of his own, waving to Mina and the others as he proceeded to follow him. In the end, he was the one needing to drive. He would not trust Tris to get home alone without probably beating someone.

And as such, they left! Fen following the poor Fox. Seemingly still laughing lightly at how this little boy had been bullied by Mina, perhaps he regretted not helping... Not helping Mina, that is.

Just before leaving trough the door, Tris stopped, his tail and fluff dissipating into strings of light once more flowing into his skin, making sure he did not forget anything as he took a sharp breath, Just walking outside.

Tris did not care to look back at Fen, just moving and hopping into Fen's car once more, this time in the front seat with a huff! – Fen was on his way... Then suddenly turned around and went back in, what did he forget? Tris's bag.

And as such, he took it and FINALLY made it to the car with a chuckle, placing the bag into the back seat. – With another few steps, he went into the driver's seat! With ease and probably a laughing grace.

"Still frustrated with the fact that School starts in less than a week, hmm?"

Fen asked, still laughing. Today was VERY interesting for everyone, they've met the fox and the fox has met them!

"Denied, School is STARTING, you DID NOT tell me, and what's up with these people?"

He spoke, his ears flickering as Tris hissed the words out, moving his hands into the air. – On the side, Fen was just starting the car. Tris is pulling the seatbelt onto himself, even if he theoretically could just survive a truck hitting him. Both of them.

"Ehh, it's fine, you will deal with it well... As for the others. . I am planning to train them into the Avatars of the Saint guard. They have what is needed in the end..."

Fen answered, Tris's ears just flickered in response as he blinked, giving a deep sigh as he moved his hands to his head, holding it lightly.

"Then such will it be... Since I'm sure you would've chosen the right heirs of Typhoon, Tide, Cinder and Tremor... But that also means one of them will have an affinity to Runic, correct? Which will make it peculiar... If we also find out who and which avatar they are..."

Tris spoke in a long line, his lips pressed as he sighed once more, his head leaning forward against the plastic front. Clearly he was tired, but he was wishing to see where those four were now going.

"Mhm, sadly, I am unfamiliar with how to realise that yet... I am just aware they have the heir rank in the books. And by the ancient magical laws, these heirs must always be in the same town or city... Which makes all of them accurate. I think."

Fen explained, giving a small sigh, his eyes were following the road, but not paying that much attention. It was hard to teach people, mainly those who thought they were humans, about such things in the end... They did not know that this even existed; gods are merely a thing they thought existed to them. And now it was all confirmed. But the gods were not even known.

"So... Gods moved on and chose the safer option to pass their avatars in a world where they cannot die by the Dawn Fragments with such ease... Smart. Very smart, I suppose, I know almost all the main Runes of the avatars. Only Missing Termor. One tail... I wonder if I'll get a second soon... But that means obtaining a Sol Relic... What Relics do we know the existence of even?"

Tris asked, curious as his head tilted from side to side, awaiting for Fen to answer his questions, after all, he was the only one to know about such things.

"First. . The Relic of Ascendance, Second, Relic of Vitality and... That's all. No others I am aware of. These were the only ones made Public by the Sol spirit at your birth. After all, I was present. All the others? If any, it is a game of fluffing around and simply, and bluntly, finding out."

Fen explained with ease, making a small chuckle as he sent in the fluff joke, just to mess with Tris a bit more. He just gave a huff, scratching his own cheek in answer to the utter INSULT thrown at him and his dear fluffiness!

"Mhm. . Ascendane and Vitality... We are unaware of what they actually are, correct? Assuming how little you know... Otherwise, you would have told me a lot more. Hopefully."

Tris spoke with a swiftness, his ears flickering as he seemed deeply interested in this topic, exactly, after all, it was about getting stronger, which he needed, considering how many Dawn Fragments started making it through, they wanted him dead. And Badly.

"Nothing else, only those words, meanings and type. From all we know they could be god damn rocks... The reason I hate it so much is that I have to deal with this! You are young, you can be hurt with ease, so we need at least one to make you decently strong, able to take middle-typed Fragments down..."

Fen spoke clearly, stressed about this fact, yet they were swiftly approaching their destination, clearly, time was not on their side. Both were clearly slightly stressed by the fact of how much work was needed in the next few months. And one thing was also clear: teenagers aren't prepared to be heirs of gods. If anything, most Tris wanted was to sleep and read some stupid thing! Perhaps finally finish that one book he's been struggling to finish.

"Right... For the love of Sol, this is so hard... When you first came up to me, I thought being an heir of some god would be easy... And apparently it is not, but it has been a few years, I suppose. Still haven't gotten used to it that much. Runic casting is the only thing I can do effectively! Creation is hard... I've only learnt to do one harmful thing apart from runes and creating weapons with my second power..."

Tris mumbled to Fen, clearly wishing to be interrogated about what he managed to do harm with just creation. And seemingly, Fen just gave a chuckle, it was expected in the end. He was still a child.

"Alright, I'm listening, what did you do?"

Fen asked as he pulled into the parking lot of the dorms, just stopping and waiting to get an answer before letting him leave, just to make him at least a bit more cheerful.

"Did you know I can summon something inside people? As long as the strength difference is big enough, meaning normal people! Sooo. . . I can summon a pebble of steel in someone's blood system and leave them paralysed until I decide to stop."

Tris just spat that out bluntly, getting up and leaving towards the dorms. Fen? His mouth felt open, this child seemed to be more of a psychopath than he thought.
