“A Guide to the World Economy & Coin Hierarchy”

Currency System of the Ancient Realm

Used across kingdoms, undercities, and merchant associations in the world of Ancient Seal: The City of No Return

Basic Currency Units (Common Use):

Futti Khudi (फुट्टी खुदी) – Smallest unit. Used by beggars, children, or in slums.

Damri (दमड़ी) = 5 Futti Khudi

Dhela (ढेला) = 5 Damri

Pie (पाई) = 10 Dhela

Paisa (पैसा) = 5 Pie

Anna (आना) = 2 Paisa

Rupaiya (रुपइया) = 4 Anna

Sikka (सिक्का) = 2 Rupaiya

Advanced Currency Units (For Nobles, Guilds, and Cultivators):

Raj Mohar (राज मोहर) = 10 Sikka – Royal seals used in ancient cities and merchant guilds.

Shakti Sikka (शक्ति सिक्का) = 15 Raj Mohar – Holds energy imprint; often used in weapon deals and magical artifacts.

Dharma Seal (धर्म मुहर) = 25 Shakti Sikka – Sacred and symbolic. Its value lies not in gold, but in honor, law, and trust.

Note: Though the Dharma Seal has lesser material value, its spiritual and societal worth is unmatched. It's used in ancient contracts, high-cult orders, and seal-bound promises that even kings cannot break

In-Novel Lore Tips (Professional-style worldbuilding):

Black Market still uses Damri and Dhela for shadow transactions.

Merchant Association accepts only from Paisa and above.

Cultivators & Sect Elders trade only in Shakti Sikka and Dharma Seals.

Lost cities and ruins may still have Raj Mohars with embedded enchantments.
