Chapter 40: Wand Beautification! Pink Starlight Particles!
"Coincidentally, although I'm not particularly advanced in other spells, my six max-level dark spells are enough to make me fearless of any magical creature in the Forbidden Forest!"
Dylan thought of his wand beautification again.
"I've already sent a lot of money home, asking Dad to buy stocks. Although it hasn't skyrocketed in the past few months, it's still made a lot."
"With this money, I can completely get a little skin for my casting. Then, even if others see me using magic with their own eyes, so what?"
"Who would believe that a spell cast from a wand flashing with pink light is Avada Kedavra?"
If he directly threw a pink fluffy rabbit version of the Killing Curse, people might just think he's doing some special effects.
"Besides the materials used to make potions, the rest can even be sold for money."
Although Dylan didn't care much about selling magical creature materials for money, it was still a source of income.
"If I could get Harry's invisibility cloak, could I just rob Gringotts?"
Dylan couldn't imagine what kind of reward the achievement system would give him if he really robbed Gringotts.
While thinking, Dylan began to plan how to sneak into the Forbidden Forest and start hunting various potion materials he needed.
Hagrid and Neville chatted for a while, then agreed on a time for Neville to come back and pick up the special fertilizer.
He saw Dylan and Neville to the door and then turned back into the Forbidden Forest.
Dylan glanced at the dark depths of the Forbidden Forest and then looked away.
"Let's go back."
Dylan and Neville headed back towards Hogwarts.
Neville rubbed his chubby face. "My goodness, that cake almost broke my teeth!"
He turned to Dylan. "Did you notice just now?"
Dylan blinked. "What?"
He had been thinking about how to sneak into the Forbidden Forest and do some cruel things to Hagrid's Aragog.
"That cake! Hagrid baked another batch!"
"Oh? What's wrong with that?"
"Didn't you notice? I saw Hagrid didn't hold the tray steady, and a rock cake accidentally fell."
"Fang was right at Hagrid's feet, and the rock cake hit his head, knocking him out!"
"Oh?" Dylan was stunned. "I really didn't notice."
Neville grinned. "Fang is probably used to it. I saw him wake up after a while."
Dylan nodded. "Okay, no wonder I didn't notice."
"I'm going to check on the Flame Thorn. Hagrid rummaged through his things and found a little bit of special fertilizer for me to use for now."
Dylan nodded slightly. "Okay, go ahead. I'll go straight back to the dormitory."
Neville paused. He wanted to ask Dylan if he wanted to come with him.
But before he could say anything, the road was blocked.
He was a little helpless. "Then..."
Dylan knew Neville was worried about him.
He smiled and patted the little chubby on the shoulder. "It's okay. I'll take care of myself. And I'm not going to study that long today. I'm going to relax a bit and research something else."
"Oh? Research something else? Isn't that still studying..." Neville looked at Dylan suspiciously.
"No, no, I'm going to research something more interesting, not from textbooks." Dylan shook his head.
"Okay then." Neville nodded. "Then I'll go to the greenhouse. Take care of yourself!"
"I know, Mr. Longbottom." Dylan waved.
"Moo!" Coal Ball also waved its little paw at Neville.
"See you tonight, Coal Ball." Neville smiled.
After they parted, Dylan carried Coal Ball back to the dormitory. Seamus was gone.
Dylan took off his shoes, climbed onto the bed, and lay down.
Coal Ball was thrown aside by him.
He pulled out his wand and looked at it carefully.
The wand was black, exuding a cold luster, with mysterious runes faintly flowing in the wood grain.
But on closer inspection, it seemed like there was nothing.
"No need to set up a skin, right? I think the current wand is quite handsome, and I don't need to deliberately hide my identity. I have to turn the wand into another look."
Dylan felt the coolness of the wand coming from his fingertips.
He tapped the top of the wand with his index finger.
"Do you have any ideas? Do you want to add pink effects or colorful effects when casting?"
The wand didn't move.
"If you don't speak, I'll take it that you like them all."
Dylan thought for a while and glanced at his current [Money] column.
"Besides the money I continue to have my parents operate, I have more than 10,000 Galleons in hand. It's only a hundred bucks, not that expensive!"
Dylan moved his mind.
He clicked on the wand icon on the panel.
Then he opened the wand beautification area.
After pondering for a moment, Dylan suddenly had a mischievous idea.
"How about adding a pink starlight particle effect?"
Just then.
The system prompt popped up.
[Message]: Do you want to spend 300 gold coins to apply a pink starlight particle effect to the wand's attack effect?
"What? Three hundred?"
Dylan was stunned.
Didn't you say it only costs a hundred to change it once?
He stared at the system prompt for a while.
Dylan seemed to understand something.
"Then... just add a pink attack effect?"
Sure enough, the moment Dylan changed his request, the system prompt also changed.
[Message]: Do you want to spend 100 gold coins to apply a pink effect to the wand's attack effect?
Dylan smacked his lips.
So pink, starlight, and particles... are three effects?
It's okay to charge once for the color.
Shouldn't starlight particles be one effect?
"Forget it, since I've already spent money, it doesn't matter if I spend another two hundred."
[Message]: Do you want to spend 300...
Dylan clicked yes directly.
The next moment, Dylan clearly felt that his wand seemed to have undergone some wonderful changes.
"Buzz"
Suddenly, the wand trembled violently.
Dylan felt as if a very mysterious magic power, that he couldn't even feel, descended on the wand in his hand.
The whole process was very fast, and the wand beautification was completed.
Dylan poked his head out of the quilt and looked at the door.
No one.
"Let me try it!"
Dylan couldn't wait to wave his wand.
In an instant, something completely different from when he waved his wand in the past happened!
On the trajectory of the wand's movement.
An unprecedented pink starlight particle effect poured out like a dreamlike waterfall!
