Bella's breath hitched as Leo's words echoed in her mind.
A price on her head.
Her stomach twisted, her pulse hammering. "Who?" she whispered, gripping the doorframe for support.
Leo's expression darkened. "Morelli. He knows about you, Bella."
Damien appeared behind her, his body tense, radiating fury. "How much?" His voice was calm—too calm.
"Half a million," Leo answered. "Dead or alive."
Bella's knees weakened.
She wasn't just a pawn in Damien's world anymore.
She was a target.
Damien's fingers tightened around her wrist, pulling her to him. "Pack a bag," he ordered.
Bella blinked. "Where are we going?"
His grip tightened. "Somewhere no one can touch you."
His words should have reassured her.
Instead, they terrified her.
