James waited for Susan to get dressed and heard some noise of footsteps retreating.
'I bet everyone watched.. that's a little embarrassing. But I'm a new man, something like this won't ever bother me now!'
"Well I guess we shouldn't keep the others waiting.. say Susan, can you carry me back. It's been a while since I've had a beautiful woman pamper me."

They were still moving through the forest a short while later when James asked a question.

A while later after the carriage had been moving James was certain that he had been peeped on.

A puzzled expression crossed her features.
"I don't think so.. that law was only stipulated because to many males were ruined before they were ready. The already low birth rate was decreasing rapidly before the quota was introduced."
"Okay so I shouldn't have a problem getting a head start right? I'm obviously different from others so it would actually be more beneficial to the kingdom if I started now."

Another day quickly slipped by and a new one had started off normally.
It was almost time for the mid day meal when there was a random absence of sound outside the carriage.
He felt them come to a halt and was puzzled as to what was going on. He then heard everyone mumbling under their breath.

"Really.. we're so unlucky."
"Why.."
James was about to ask what the problem was when a mechanical voice appeared in his head.

'What the hell? This shitty game mechanic is here as well..'
James actually knew about this random encounter. In his time playing Fractured Worlds, this was a frequent headache in his journey of skipping to the sex scenes.
When traveling on foot or horseback there was a 20% chance for this to happen. The amount of times it happened to him in game was aggravating because fetch quests had him running from town to town.
It was unavoidable because instant travel was only available from city to city.
Soon they were all out of the carriage because the encounter wouldn't let anyone be a non participant.
His mothers voice came from in front of him in a tone that was not to be argued against.
"James stay behind us. A level 54 enemy can kill you instantly. Justine your on buffs while covering James. Emily, Veronica you two will assist Captain Susan on the left flank. I will take the right by myself. Prepare for battle."
They waited for a few agonizing minutes in anticipation.
Suddenly an arrow slammed into his mother.
James was panicking until he saw the arrow fly away, bouncing off a magical blue energy which was now visible.
He heard his mother shout then.
"It's a bandit type! Be wary of the tree line for hidden range classes!"
A few more arrows bounced off her magical shield.
James then heard Justine speaking loudly.
"Move swift, strike fast. No mercy!"
A prompt entertered his view.

"Hit hard with heavy hands. Break through!"

He heard his mothers voice ring out again.
"That's pretty good stuff Justine, you wouldn't happen to have a magic damage buff though?"
"I apologize my Lady but my level is too low for an advance skill like that."
*Tsk* "Don't worry about it, I should be able to kill these scum easily enough without it."
That's when a chaotic battle ensued.
12 darkly clothed figures dashed out of the trees straight at his mom.
She had already been in the process of casting a spell however and had retrieved a golden staff adorned with a giant red jewel at the top.
Violent swirling magic was condensed into deadly power as wind whipped wildly in the air.
"Heed my call O' Great Mother of wind and tear my enemies apart. Slashing Gale!"
'Holy shit!'
Visible lines of condensed air tore through space in brutal crisscrossing lines.
There wasn't even slight resistance as it met the attacking force.
Shrill cries of pain didn't have time to escape thier lips as each foe was dismembered into chunks of flesh.
The spell kept raging as it met the forests edge. Trees and more red flew in a grotesque display of power.
In a wide arc their was no longer a dense pack of trees, but stumps cut at different heights and furrows torn into the ground.
At the edge of the destruction was now a wall of wood and undergrowth.
The attackers who had rushed them hadn't been swept into the biting wind. They had been to close before the magic had time to disperse and carry its victims with it.
Piles of red body parts littered the ground where they had stood.
James almost threw up at the sight.
'I've killed humans before back on earth, but that was with a gun! That was disgustingly violent.'
His mother fell to a knee, breathing hard.
James wanted to run over and check up on her but Justine held him firm.
"Are you okay mom!?"
She gave a thumbs up without turning around.
"I'm good dear.. mommy's just a little tired right now. I used up most of my mana to take them out in one shot. I just need a moment to meditate."
James was glad to hear she was fine but clashing steel was still ringing out from the other side of this battle.
James peeked under the carriage to find that the four women on that side were incredibly out numbered.
They had their backs to one another as a ring of 15 enemies surrounded them.
He could see their side was faltering slightly as Captain Susan had to bear the brunt of the attacks for her weaker ally's.
An arrow caught her unaware in the leg as she parried a bandit with her shield.
Another arrow slammed into Emily's shoulder this time as she reached out to steady the Captain.
'Oh shit.. they're losing. I need to do something fast before they die.'
James snapped to Justine and gave an order.
"I don't know if this will work but I need you to plug your nose. We're going to help out the others and I have a skill that should work. Am I understood?"
Justine immediately nodded and held her nose closed.
James activated [Entoxicating Scent] and dashed around the carriage.
The sight he expected to see was indeed there. Every woman, including his crew had been effected.
Each one was on hands and knees in a submissive pose.
James turned to Justine and ordered.
"Kill them."
James sat back and kept an eye on the situation as Justine pulled a thin sword from her inventory and accurately plunged it into the hearts of each enemy.
James was about to deactivate the skill when a crash from the forest line was heard.
A bandit who fell out of the tree was dazedly humping the air as he approached.
Retrieving his knife, James pressed it under her chin and stabbed upwards till he pierced the brain.
She had only wildly thrashed for a moment before going still.
James deactivated [Entoxicating Scent] and observed the carnage of the battle while wiping his knife clean on the bandits clothes.
James ingnored the multitude of prompts and walked over to his companions.
They were all a little embarrassed because they had no clue what had come over them earlier.
Just like the bandits they had been prostrating and shaking their backsides.
James said he didn't know either and was glad a distraction had been created for him and Justine.
He glanced sideways at Justine indicating that she should keep her mouth shut.
'This skill and that perk of mine need to be heavily gaurded secrets.. I trust my family's guard but until I know what happened to the previous James I can't lay my cards on the table.'
