✿ CHAPTER 1 ✿
Finally, it was my birthday...I was excited because I couldn't wait to see Caesar and my best friend Maria...I wanted to celebrate my birthday with them.
I arrived at Caesar's house...I also brought a cake and a red wine...I parked my car in his garage...I bought this house and also a car for Caesar on his birthday as a gift. I knocked on his door but there wasn't a response, so I just walked in.
"Caesar?" I called out softly. I walked into his living room...beers and drinks scattered all over the place.
"Did he have a party last night?"...I continued calling his name but there was no response, I then quietly walked up the stairs into his room.
I found the door unlocked...I pushed open the door and immediately, I felt my whole world crumble.
"C-Caesar" unshed tears in my eyes as I spotted Caesar and my best friend together on the bed...with clothes lying scattered on the floor.
"Amelia?, you.. you're here...you need to listen to me. I promise I can explain" he quickly put on a T-shirt and a short, and my best friend put on his T-shirt also.
"Amelia" Stephanie called out to me as she bit her lip nervously.
I felt an excruciating pain in my chest, I couldn't believe Caesar my so-called boyfriend was cheating on me with my own best friend. We promised to love each other forever, we promised to get married.
'I' promised to get married to Caesar.
But now what, I caught him cheating on me with my best?....what the fck am I supposed to do
I looked at him, tears streaming down my eyes...I looked pathetic, I never for one day imagined myself to be in this state, never!
"Explain? What can you possibly explain to me, Caesar!!, You going around fucking my bestfriend!!"
I yelled in pain...I was always a very calm and reserved girl...I felt so different from my usual self, I felt like a completely different person.
"Amy, I'm sorry okay? I...I just really love Caesar so much that I-"
"You love him? you love him!!, how could you say such a thing to me, Stephanie!!" I said glaring at her....I couldn't believe my best friend could hurt me this way, to the point of saying she loved my boyfriend... seeing her putting on my boyfriend's t-shirt made my blood boil with anger.
"Amelia you know I love you....I wouldn't hurt you-"
"It's fucking over between us Caesar!... I loved you...I gave you everything you could ever want...what haven't I given to you huh?"
"s*x. you haven't given me s*x Amelia, I mean we don't do it as couples are supposed to do it"
"Whenever I try touching you, you just brush me off...what am I supposed to do anyway!" Caesar said with another tune as he glared at me with resentment.
"What?" I was taken aback by his words, I couldn't believe Caesar was saying this to my face.
"I never cared about you Amelia....can't you see I'm just after your parents' money"
"I never planned on even getting married to you, you're just a" I smacked him with my purse...I was furious by his harsh words...who the fck does he think he is!!
"You bastard I'm going to kill you!!!" I smashed my birthday cake on his face....Stephanie tried holding me back from hitting Caesar.
"Amelia stop!!... stop hitting him!!" Stephanie wrapped her arms around my waist dragging me back from hitting this dick head.
"Fine!, I'll stop hitting him...I'll hit you instead!!!!" I lunged at her as I pulled her by her hair.
"Ahhhhh!!, Amelia stop!...stopppp!!"
"Caesar help me!!"
"You stupid b*tch!!...I'm gonna kill you!!" I rubbed cake frosting all over her face...Caesar tried separating us...but it got me more furious.
"Don't you dare touch me!" I glared at Caesar with hatred evident in my eyes.
"Amelia!, you need to stop this, now!!" he raised his voice as he pulled Stephanie away from me.
I watched as Stephanie buried her face in Caesar's arms as she cried, making me look like the villain who hurt the pitiful young princess.
"What has gotten into you, Amelia? Just because I said I don't love you!" he glared at me as he held Stephanie in his arms.
I laughed... "Oh, so what are you now? trying to save the damsel in distress huh?" I picked up my purse.
"You'll regret this Caesar!, you'll regret forever causing me pain!" I yelled at him in anger.
What am I now? A girl who fights because she caught her boyfriend cheating with her best friend? Wasn't that ridiculous?
"Leave, Amelia"
"Fine, I'll leave! it's not like I want to stay here anyway!" I walked out of his room slamming the door behind me
