Arthur couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction as he reflected on the events of the past day. Despite being in this world for only a short time, he had already managed to acquire a significant amount of resources and valuable items. However, he couldn't shake off the feeling that there was still more to be done.
As the sun began to reach its peak, signaling the approach of noon, Arthur decided it was time to take a break and refuel. "It looks like it's already noon," he said to himself. "Let's go and eat for now, and then I'll gather my soldiers to hunt monsters. With the Berserk skill, I'm confident that I can handle tier-2 monsters."
Arthur's confidence had grown significantly since acquiring the skill, and he was eager to put it to the test. His conversation with Arora had also left him with a sense of determination, and he was now more focused than ever on hunting monsters and acquiring more items and treasures.
As he stepped out of his hut, Arthur was greeted by the sight of several new huts being constructed within his territory. Men were rushing about, working diligently to complete the tasks assigned to them. "Good, it looks like they didn't slack off at all," Arthur thought to himself, impressed by the progress that had been made.
Arthur called out to Jack, the tier-1 soldier who had been assigned to attend to his needs. "Jack, has the food been prepared for everyone?" he asked, his voice carrying across the distance.
"Yes, my lord, the food has been prepared," Jack replied respectfully. "Do you want me to bring it over to you?"
"No, I want to eat with everyone," Arthur said. "Let's stop working for now and eat together. Go and inform everyone."
Jack immediately followed Arthur's order, rushing off to gather the workers. "Everyone, the lord wants to eat with all of us," he announced. "It's a great honor for us to eat with our mighty lord."
The workers were shocked by the announcement, particularly the 20 common humans who had been treated poorly in the big city they had left behind. They had never been given any respect or kindness, and the fact that their new lord was willing to eat with them was almost too much to bear. Some of them began to cry, overcome with emotion.
"The lord is truly kind," one of them exclaimed. "I will always be loyal to him." The others nodded in agreement, their faces filled with gratitude.
After 10 minutes, everyone had gathered in a hut that had been designated as a cafeteria. The hut was roughly made, but Arthur didn't mind. He knew that his workers were not architects, and he needed to recruit talents to help develop his territory.
As they ate together, Arthur could sense the admiration and loyalty emanating from his workers. He smiled, feeling a sense of connection with them. After the meal, everyone returned to their tasks, working diligently to complete their assignments.
"Jack," Arthur said, calling out to the soldier. "Go and prepare every soldier near the territory protection wall. We're going for a hunt."
Jack's face lit up with excitement. "Yes, my lord," he replied, rushing off to gather the soldiers.
Arthur made his way to the protection wall, equipping himself with the wolf sword that he had received in the newbie gift pack. As he arrived, he saw that the soldiers had already gathered, their faces filled with anticipation.
"Good, everyone has gathered," Arthur said, looking at the soldiers. "As you know, Jack is the captain of the black rank soldiers." He glanced at the bronze rank tier-1 wolf knight soldiers, who stood out due to their ferocious aura.
"The one who kills the most monsters in this hunt will become a captain for the bronze rank commander." Arthur announced, his words sparking excitement among the wolf soldiers. They knew that this was an opportunity to rise through the ranks and gain a higher position.
"Yes, my lord, we will not disappoint you," they said in unison, their voices filled with determination. "We are willing to die for you, my lord."
Arthur smiled, feeling a sense of pride and confidence in his soldiers. He knew that they would do everything in their power to succeed.
After giving his instructions, Arthur left the tier-1 soldiers behind to lure the monsters to the territory protection wall. He didn't want them to die unnecessarily, and he knew that they needed to level up and become stronger before they could handle the monsters on their own.
With his plan in place, Arthur felt a sense of excitement and anticipation. He was ready to take on the challenges that lay ahead, and he was confident that he would emerge victorious.
