"Speed!!"
Looking at the somewhat panicked Uzuki Yugao, Uchiha Yuta frowned and ordered in a deep voice, "Draw your sword, slash...."
"Well... Okay.."
"Whoosh....."
With the sound of a short sword swinging, Yugao held her blade tightly and violently struck out a white slash wave....
"Bang!!"
A flickering wave of cold light roared out. With lightning speed, it slashed at a wooden stake in the training ground.
A few seconds later, without warning, a very smooth mark appeared in the middle of the stake, which then split in two and fell heavily to the ground!
"It's so strong!!"
"Is... is this really Yugao?"
Seeing this scene, Kurenai Yuhi's eyes widened in shock. Perhaps afraid she was imagining things, she even rubbed her eyes in disbelief.
When did Yugao ever display such powerful slashes? Was this still just Konoha-style swordsmanship?
"I... I...."
At this moment, after opening her eyes, Yugao was equally stunned. She had only followed her instincts and listened to the breath of all things before making a casual slash—but she never expected it to be this powerful.
"You have an immense talent for swordsmanship."
Uchiha Yuta took a deep look at Uzuki Yugao and exclaimed, "If you train diligently, you might become the strongest female swordsman in the ninja world."
Indeed! After unlocking Whitebeard's swordsmanship, Yuta wanted to test Yugao's potential in the way of the sword. But he never expected that, on her very first attempt, she would already perceive the breath of all things. That was astonishing.
As everyone knew, the difference between a swordsman who could hear the breath of all things and one who couldn't was like night and day. Though Yugao had not yet mastered Armament Haki or reached the level of cutting steel, her foundation was undeniably strong.
With this potential, Yuta was confident he could train her into the greatest female swordsman in the ninja world.
"Is being a great swordsman really that impressive?"
Hearing his words, Yugao asked in confusion.
"It's extremely powerful."
Yuta shrugged and said meaningfully, "A top-tier swordsman could cut down an elite jonin in one strike. With three strikes, even a Kage-level ninja could fall."
Clang...
The short sword in Yugao's hand fell to the ground.
She couldn't help it—she felt an overwhelming pressure that didn't match her age.
As for Kurenai, she was just as stunned.
To take down an elite jonin in a single slash?
How powerful must that be?
Neither of them could even begin to comprehend it.
"Alright, back to training," Yuta ordered. "Strengthen your fundamentals first."
"Ah...! Yes, Yuta-kun, we'll do our best!"
And so, under Yuta's guidance, Yugao and Kurenai resumed their grueling yet fulfilling training....
---
Three Hours Later
"Haaah....."
After escorting Yugao and Kurenai home, Uchiha Yuta walked slowly along a dimly lit street in Konoha, heading toward the Uchiha district.
However, when he reached a dark alley, a faint smirk appeared on his lips. "You've been following me for a while now. Isn't it time to show yourselves?"
Swish! Swish!
At that moment, two figures wearing cat-faced ANBU masks appeared in front of him.
"Uchiha Yuta, Lord Danzo requests your presence."
"Get lost."
Hearing this, Yuta snorted in disdain and continued walking forward.
To be frank, he held no fondness for Konoha's higher-ups—especially a sinister, conniving figure like Shimura Danzo.
"Then we have no choice...."
At that moment, the two Root ANBU glanced at each other, exchanging a silent understanding.
They had received a strict order from Lord Danzo.
No matter what, Uchiha Yuta must be brought in.
Swish! Swish!
In the blink of an eye, the two ANBU dashed forward at extreme speed, kunai in hand, attacking Yuta from both sides.
Bang! Bang!
Unfortunately for them, though their movements were swift, they were sent flying even faster.
Before they could even see how Yuta had moved, they were already airborne, smashing into the ground dozens of meters away. The impact shook the earth itself.
"Pfft..."
"Ugh...!"
Spitting blood, the two Root ANBU's eyes filled with terror.
They couldn't believe it.
With just a single strike, their internal organs were wrecked?
When did taijutsu become this terrifying?
"Danzo, is this your idea of intimidation? Sending two mere chunin to trouble me?"
Yuta stretched lazily, his expression indifferent. "You've been sending your Root lackeys to keep tabs on me all this time. Now, you finally decided to show up yourself?"
Clap... Clap... Clap...
Suddenly, a slow applause echoed through the alley.
At the end of the passage, a man in a white robe with a cross-shaped scar on his chin stepped forward.
"As expected of a taijutsu specialist, I underestimated you," Danzo remarked in a deep voice. "Your perception is sharper than I expected."
As he stepped closer, his expression turned colder. "Aren't you afraid of the consequences of defying me?"
Yuta narrowed his eyes slightly, the corner of his lips curling into a smirk. "Shouldn't you be the one worried about the consequences of provoking me?"
