Chapter 7: The Clash of Titans
---
Mygeeto – Separatist Stronghold
The city burned.
Explosions rocked the frozen world as Republic forces pushed forward with relentless precision. The Separatists had fortified Mygeeto for months, believing it impenetrable.
They were wrong.
The 501st led the charge, crushing the droid legions with superior tactics, overwhelming force, and absolute coordination.
I strode through the battlefield, my lightsaber igniting as a wave of droids surged toward me.
The Essence of the Warrior burned within my veins.
Before the first blaster bolt even left their barrels, I was already moving.
My blade cut through metal and circuitry like a predator among prey.
One strike—four droids fell.
A sidestep—a missile whizzed past my shoulder.
A flick of my wrist—the rocket reversed course, slamming back into its origin point in a fiery explosion.
Perfect combat. Perfect movement. Perfect victory.
Rex's voice crackled through my comm.
"General! We've breached the inner defenses. Dooku's in the command tower!"
I smirked.
Showtime.

Separatist Command Tower – Dooku's Chambers
Count Dooku stood, arms folded, watching as his forces collapsed.
His lips curled in distaste.
"Skywalker…" he muttered. "A blunt instrument—yet one with such refinement."
He turned as a hooded hologram flickered into view.
Sidious.
Dooku knelt. "My Lord. He has come."
Sidious chuckled. "Good. Test him."
Dooku frowned. "And if he surpasses expectations?"
Sidious' voice was dark silk.
"Then… adapt."
The transmission ended.
Dooku exhaled and ignited his crimson blade.
The doors exploded inward.
I stepped through the smoke, power crackling around me.
Our eyes met.
No words were needed.
---
Duel of the Fates
Dooku moved first.
A flurry of Makashi strikes, each as precise as a scalpel.
To anyone else, they would be lethal.
To me?
They were slow. Predictable.
I parried every single one—not with effort, but with ease.
Dooku's brow furrowed. He felt it.
The gap between us.
I vanished from his sight—reappearing behind him in an instant. My saber lashed out, aiming for his spine.
He barely twisted in time, blocking—but he was off-balance.
"You've improved, Skywalker," he admitted, voice tight.
I smirked. "You have no idea."
I pressed the attack.
Speed. Strength. Precision.
I was faster than him, stronger than him, more perfect than him.
And he knew it.
I weaved between his defenses, my blade striking from impossible angles. His counters became desperate.
Then, I saw it.
An opening.
My blade slammed into his wrist, slicing clean through.
Dooku gasped as his hand hit the floor, his saber rolling away.
He dropped to his knees, breathing hard.
The warlord Count Dooku—Darth Tyranus himself—defeated.
I raised my lightsaber.
One stroke would end him.
Dooku looked up, resignation in his eyes.
Sidious' voice echoed in my head. Kill him.
I exhaled.
And deactivated my blade.
Dooku's eyes widened in shock. "You… refuse?"
I smirked. "I'm not your puppet. Or his."
I turned to leave.
"You can die here with the Separatists, or you can be useful."
Dooku stared after me.
Then… he laughed.
Deep. Dark. Knowing.
"Perhaps we should talk, Skywalker."

Coruscant – The Jedi Temple
The Council chamber was tense.
I stood before the assembled Masters, arms crossed, as they digested the impossible.
"You captured Dooku?" Obi-Wan repeated, as if he couldn't believe it.
Mace Windu narrowed his eyes. "And you let him live?"
I smirked. "He's more useful alive."
The Jedi whispered among themselves.
Yoda tapped his cane. "Dangerous, this is."
I leaned forward. "The Jedi are too soft. We hesitate. We debate. We fail."
Mace folded his arms. "And what do you propose?"
I smirked.
"Change."

Later That Night – Padmé's Apartment
Her breath hitched as I pinned her to the bed.
I trailed kisses down her neck, her nails raking down my back.
She gasped as I whispered, "Mine."
And she was.
Every inch of her.
Her body trembled, surrendering completely.
I claimed her. Again.
Again.
Again.
The galaxy could wait.
Tonight? She belonged to me.

Author's Notes:
Anakin has defeated Dooku—but spared him?!
The Jedi are uneasy.
Sidious is watching.
Padmé is falling deeper.
