I felt an enormous foreboding when I heard that villainy voice. With an attack coming in my direction. I felt this strangely familiar vicious energy inside that attack.
"I felt this energy before..."
It's something murky and suffocating— it almost wants you to drown in an ocean of breathlessness and death.
However, I can't pinpoint what energy it was that made me this way.
Nevertheless, I have use my own technique. It's pretty compulsory that even with just the true essence of it. I have to block it with all I have or this body will be pretty much dead in my second life.
"Way of the Spear, Equilibrium, True Form."
I have to survive this attack that aims to take my life.
"What a life it is, huh?"
It's just my second day and I'm already in perilous situation.
And I can't kill myself due to this system.
Well, I have nowhere to go right now because I was positioned in the furthest part of the hallway— due to my continued evasion of the attacks of this assassins.
If I want to leave this place, I have to destroy those reinforced walls and windows just to be able to evade this attack.
Well, I can't do that with my shitty body and I'm pretty weak right now.
I didn't even have the time to recover my body that much after I woke up...
Moreover, with my technique— it's the safest bet that I have for now to just to try and bounce off the attack with the momentum of my Way of the Spear.
"The Transcendant Spear Of Equilibrium."
Immediately, I rotated my spear in a counterclockwise direction— anticipating for the attack of this man.
That's when the enormous dark slash and the spear collided through the hallway of the mansion, dismantling the whole hallway of the guest rooms and all of the things in it.
"Goddamnit— it's stronger than I thought."
I felt that every inch of my muscle fibers that I have in this body was working to the core so that I was to be able to survive this.
Well, how does the spear survive with these relentless attack? Simple. My technique amplified the spear's durability. Well, I'm dead if my spear breaks — And that's why it's called the Equilibrium or Balance.
However— despite the technique protecting it, it's almost broken due to the amount of damage it has faced due to our clash in the hallway.
Shing! Shingg! Boom! Boom!
And an attack might destroy this spear if I'm not careful— Well, I'm fucked either way because I finally have a clue on what the energy is...
A continuous explosion happened in the hallway with structure of the rooms and the hallway being cut in two— collapsing with debris falling off all of its sides of the mansion.

The guest rooms, hallways, and even the statues and windows were heavily damage on that devastating attacks of the man in darkness and the spear noble.
"...Shit..."

Despite the use of my technique— I still be able to barely blocked it as it was life-and-death for me afterall.
Coupled with the deep pain all over my body. It seems like I pushed this frail body to the core in that exchange leading to a coughing of so much blood session.

However, I finally concluded something from this strangely overwhelming assassin that almost killed my second life in this universe.
Due to the particular appearance that he had...

That's when I finally reached the conclusion...
The reason that he can use the 'Scythe of Darkness...'
The reason why he's so much stronger than I thought...
And strangely enough, I know something that can make this type of things....
It shouldn't be connected to the one I'm thinking of... right?
However—clues immediately flowed into my mind; When I kicked that katana woman in the abdomen that led to her passing out in this fight— the scythe user kind of berserk and tried to kill me in a most horrific way.
And that energy that flowed into his eyes, his body and horns kind of portruded in his head— and dark energy that immediately strengthens his power.
Well, it seems like something that I'm extremely familiar with— and I can't deny it anymore...
It is in that Universal War...
It's someone that I know of too well— was involved in this attack.
"Fuck, I'm really doomed in this universe."
My conclusion is...
Ethos was definitely involved in this universe too..
"Goddamnit..."
What a fateful second life it is...
That's when I noticed the now— glowing panel that appeared out of nowhere, flickering in my eyes and stating something like this:

Reading all of this information that I have right now— I was shocked on how the fuck Ethos found me in this new universe.
And how this system will bear the damage for me...
Is it something like Spatial Awareness? or something much greater than that. I have no idea...
When I thought that I could live and turn into a new leaf in this life...
Well, if it didn't work, I'll just try to kill myself again...
But... all of it was a fleeting dream.
As that at bastard managed to find me.
"Well, I'm fucked with this universe too."
Nevertheless, I calmed myself down and sighed deeply— knowing the situation and cause of it will pretty much help me survive this ordeal.
Still, I barely managed to gulp down the increasing anxiety and fear of my heart.
It's that God of Darkness afterall. The one that destroyed my universe.
And I have to fight this assassin that had his power...

He smiled at the blooded man looking at him in the face.
His white hair was messed up with blood. Also, blood was continuously flowing from his mouth, and the left side of his forehead was wounded too— leaving him to a messed up bloody look.
But his red eyes were staring at him— with fear and determination to live on the other hand.
"Quite ironic isn't it? You thought you could escape from me, but here I am— talking to you." I smiled sweetly to the bloodied man.
"Goddamnit, h-how the hell did you find me?" He asked as shocked was imminent in his face and voice.
"Well, since it's already a thing that I use many many times— I can tell it to you. I felt this particular strong dark emotion from this universe. And I felt this strange energy that comes from you, whose at first, I can't even fathom."
I answered nonchalantly due to using this technique many times, I always find it boring.
"That's when I noticed it's you, Keizen. The one who escaped my hands in that universe."
He stayed silent at that shallow revelation.
"But you're lucky for now— I don't have a lot of time to take this body. So it's a farewell with you for the timebeing...."
"We'll meet up soon— don't worry. Please enjoy this gift that I have especially prepared for you in the meantime."
"Goodbye for now and see you soon, Keizen Al Nevestria."
I said with a evil smile on my face, looking at his despairing face at the things that I've said.
And that's when the connection was disrupted—
"Did you managed to find him?"
My dear friend— the Dark Side of the Universe asked me in a curious way.
"It's been years since he disappearance in A anthem— and we were trying to find him all this year. However, this was only the time that we exactly pinpointed his location..."
Yes, there's a time dilation on this universe too. We almost turn this universe upside down just to find him or some clues.
But, atleast for now. We have a clue on where he is...
"He's the key afterall."
"Oh well, we will prepapre to conquer that universe in 25 years. But for now...
It's pretty far you know? Command the whole army to prepare for our travel this time to conquer that universe too. Just like that one."
"Got it— I should prepare myself well this time to destroy that universe."
