After returning to Konoha with Ami, Sora reported to Minato, then brought her back to his home.
In just two days, Ami had fully adapted to her new life. She took it upon herself to clean the house, cook, and do laundry each day.
Even Sora couldn't stop her—she insisted on doing everything herself. In the end, he could only let her have her way.
Seeing the growing smile on the little girl's face warmed Sora's heart.
He'd lived alone for so many years, his mindset had become almost elderly—too rigid and joyless. But with this little one around, life was starting to feel fun again.
Seven days passed in peace, and Team Kakashi finally returned to the village after completing the bridge mission.
After handing in their report, the trio took only one day of rest. The very next morning, they were already back on their feet.
Sasuke found Naruto. "Naruto, where does Lord Sora live? Let's go find him."
The night before, he had asked his older brother Itachi about Sora—and learned that Sora was Itachi's idol.
Since Sasuke had looked up to Itachi his whole life, he was instantly amazed and couldn't wait to meet Sora and seek his guidance.
If even Itachi revered this man, then Sasuke's expectations were sky-high.
"Ah! I was just about to go find Uncle Sora," Naruto said. "Come with me. Should we go pick up Sakura too?"
This was a rare chance to be personally trained by Sora. Everyone—Kakashi, Minato, even Kushina—had encouraged him to go. Naruto himself was beginning to feel a little excited about it.
Sasuke nodded and took the lead, heading toward Sakura's house. Despite not having any tragic past like the others, he still cared about his teammates.
But when they found her, Sakura refused to go with them. She wanted to be with Sasuke, sure, but with Naruto tagging along—and knowing there'd be hard training ahead—she quickly backed out.
Naruto and Sasuke didn't press her. Eager to begin, they raced off toward the back hills of Konoha.
Before long, they arrived outside Sora's private villa.
"What brings you two here?" Sora asked, lounging in the courtyard, basking in the sun, sipping tea that Ami had made just for him.
Naruto and Sasuke exchanged a glance before Naruto spoke. "Uncle, we're here for training."
"Heh, you two really are diligent. You remembered my promise," Sora said with a chuckle, instantly understanding their reason for coming.
But when he noticed Sakura wasn't with them, he felt a wave of disappointment.
After everything they experienced in the Land of Waves, she still hadn't grasped what she needed to do—hadn't realized the gap between herself and Naruto or Sasuke.
Even putting aside their special fates as reincarnations of Ashura and Indra, just their identities—Naruto as the Hokage's son, Sasuke as the Uchiha heir—meant their resources and talent far outstripped Sakura's.
Naruto had the powerful body of the Uzumaki clan. Sasuke had the Sharingan. What did Sakura have to compare?
And yet she didn't cherish this chance. It was already clear that in the future, they wouldn't be able to continue as a team.
Sora shook his head, letting those thoughts go. After greeting little Ami, he brought Naruto and Sasuke out to a nearby forest clearing.
Since he was going to teach them ninjutsu, it was better to stay away from the house to avoid any damage.
Once there, Sora asked, "Do you two have a vision for your future as shinobi? Any particular ninjutsu you want to learn?"
Naruto and Sasuke stared at each other, confused by the question.
After thinking a moment, Naruto said, "My ninja way is to become a flame brighter than my father!"
"I'll make the Uchiha name shine even more brilliantly!" Sasuke added with determination.
"Knew it," Sora muttered, rubbing his forehead in exasperation.
The ninja world had no real structure to its training. Kids learned basic techniques at the academy, then just copied whatever jutsu they happened to see afterward.
Resigned, Sora explained in detail, "What kind of ninja do you want to become? A ninjutsu-focused caster who overwhelms with technique? A stealthy assassin who finishes battles with one strike?"
He paused, recalling Might Guy's image in his mind. "Or maybe a warrior type—tough, durable, and focused on physical strength?"
This time, the boys understood. Both lowered their heads and began to think seriously.
No one had ever asked them this before. They were always just told to train their bodies, refine their chakra, and handed techniques to practice.
Watching them think, Sora took his time and sat down.
He actually had ideas for each of their paths—but he wanted to hear their thoughts first.
Maybe it was Sora's serious tone, or maybe their parents' constant teaching, but both boys acted maturely and didn't blurt out anything. They just looked at Sora, eager for guidance.
Sora smiled slightly. "Alright. Since you don't have a clear idea yet, I'll give you some suggestions. But you'll need to talk to your parents about it first."
Both boys nodded eagerly. Advice from Sora—the strongest in Konoha, the infamous prodigy of the shinobi world—wasn't something they took lightly.
If Sora offered to train someone, the line would probably stretch all the way to the Land of Water.
"Let's start with you, Naruto. You have the Uzumaki clan's body, which means your chakra reserves are enormous—comparable to a tailed beast.
On top of that, you inherited some of Minato's talent. Your learning ability is terrifying.
So your best development path is as a ninjutsu specialist. You should quickly master a wide range of jutsu. Your massive chakra will allow you to win battles through overwhelming firepower."
Sora wasn't exaggerating. The Uzumaki clan's chakra reserves were unquestionable. And Naruto's learning potential had shown itself in the original timeline, where he instantly mastered the Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu.
In this life, even though Naruto no longer had Kurama, his chakra levels had dropped—but so had the interference that came from the Nine-Tails. That made learning jutsu even easier for him.
With his massive chakra reserves, Naruto could fully enjoy the benefits of being an Uzumaki without suffering from Kurama's influence.
As Sora spoke, Naruto drifted off into a fantasy—standing tall, launching a flood of powerful jutsu as enemies wailed and fled. A goofy smile crept onto his face.
Sora chuckled inwardly. There was still one thing he hadn't mentioned—once Naruto learned Sage Mode, the power of his techniques would increase drastically.
Just compare Sora's own ninjutsu power with Naruto's future Sage Art: Rasengan, and the potential was clear.
After a while, Naruto snapped out of it and nodded eagerly. "Got it, Uncle!"
