Freed from the arrays, Xiao Xuan stood tall, a triumphant smile on his face. "Finally! If I hadn't broken free, I'd have been utterly humiliated."
Wiping the blood from his lips, he turned to Xiao Tiance and declared, "Alright, your turn is over. Now, it's mine!"
Hearing this, Xiao Tiance rolled his eyes and waved dismissively. "Xuan ge, spare me the trouble. Facing you, a Nine Star Dou Sheng peak level fighter, is asking for trouble.
You've already seen what I can do. Let's call it a day, alright? I'm heading back."
Before Xiao Xuan could respond, Xiao Tiance casually exited the spatial realm, returning to his residence.
For a moment, Xiao Xuan stood in stunned silence.
That brat! He'd run off so decisively!
After a moment, Xiao Xuan chuckled, shaking his head. "That rascal has no sense of pride. But still, knowing that Tiance is here… even if I fail in my attempt to break through to Dou Di, the Xiao Clan will be in good hands."
His expression softened as he vanished from the realm, reappearing in Xiao Tiance's Tiance Residence moments later.
"Leaving without a proper fight? That's low, even for you," Xiao Xuan teased as he appeared before Xiao Tiance.
"Come on, Xuan ge. You're at the peak of Nine Star Dou Sheng. Only a fool would engage you head on. I'm not one of those battle hardened maniacs."
Xiao Tiance laughed, clearly unbothered. "Besides, you wanted to see my new skills. What do you think?"
Xiao Xuan sighed, a mix of exasperation and amusement. "You never fail to impress. These Spirit Arrays of yours are truly remarkable.
If given enough time to prepare, even a Nine Star Dou Sheng might find it impossible to escape without being worn down."
He paused, adding thoughtfully, "But I noticed something interesting. Your Dou Qi doesn't seem to diminish when you activate these arrays. How is that possible?"
Xiao Tiance's smile faltered momentarily before he nodded. "Sharp as ever, Xuan ge. You're right. These arrays aren't powered by Dou Qi they're fueled by something called Spirit Energy."
"Spirit Energy?" Xiao Xuan murmured, his eyes narrowing in thought. "I feel like I've read about this term somewhere…"
Xiao Tiance waved dismissively. "No need to overthink it, Xuan ge. Just know that Spirit Arrays are unlike anything from the Dou Qi Continent.
As far as I know, I'm the only Spirit Array Master in this world."
