At the palace, through the dark hallway of the palace, Elara Aster an insignificant servant who has a sharp loyalty towards Lita.
"Elara Aster, Age: 24. A loyal servant in the palace"
As she was walking through the dark hallway going towards the room of the duke, she heard the Crown Prince and his advisors talking,
she leans on the wall next to the door of the office of the Crown Prince, as she listens to them.
"Your Highness, with due respect, the whispers are getting louder. Her sudden rise to prominence...her proximity to you... It fuels speculation."
Said Lord Elmsworth, the grand duke the father of Henry.
"I would agree, the noble houses are uneasy. Many see her as an outsider, a commoner who has gained undue influence. This could destabilize your position, Your Highness." One of the nobles added.
"Perhaps, we should stop the engagement of yours? Prince Daniel?" Master Thorn,
"Stop the engagement? No..." Prince Daniel murmur. "I have my plan in my sleeves already so that's none of your business now." He said
In Elara's thoughts, plan? What plan? Elara decided to shake the thoughts off from her head.
She goes back to going to the duke's room to deliver the meal.
Elara towards Vanessa, Elara has suspicion towards Vanessa towards Lita and cruelty toward Vanessa towards Lita.
It's clear to her that Vanessa is being cruel and manipulative towards Lita and using Duke Henry to get close to Lita.
Elara had been wanting to expose Vanessa but she hadn't thought of a plan yet.
The next day, at the mansion of Astoria, William was at his office feeling a concern towards Lita. He doesn't like what will happen when Vanessa makes a move, will someone ever notice her cunning behavior towards Lita?
Is there any way to stop her? William's thoughts roamed around his head.
That afternoon, he visited the palace just to discuss some things with the Crown Prince. He later encounters Elara while passing by the hallway when they suddenly bump into each other.
"I'm sorry, my lady. I didn't see you coming here... Let me help you" William helps Elara clean the mess up from the tea that was spilled and the glass all shattered.
"No no, it's fine. I can do this, my lord. Your hands might get injured or get dirty, I'll be the one who will clean it up, Lord William" Elara said as she picked up the shattered glass around.
William didn't mind having his hands dirty or having an injury from the shattered sharp glass.
After cleaning up the mess, William's hands are all dirty from cleaning the shattered glass.
"Lord William, your hands are dirty..." Elara said under her breath.
"No, it's fine I can wash my hands anyways" he chuckled.
"I have a question Elara, did you see Vanessa around here?" William asked.
"My apologies Lord William, but I don't know where Lady Vanessa is" she responded.
"Ah very well then, thank you" he nodded and was about to continue to leave when Elara spoke up.
"Lord William... May I ask you something..." Elara said with a low tone in her voice.
"What is it Elara?" William responds and turns around towards her.
"Have you... Ever have a suspicion towards Lady Vanessa? Her cunning behavior..." She said almost like a whisper.
"Me?" He walks closer to Elara. "Yeah, I do and it's very a long time. I'm his eldest brother anyway, why did you ask?" He raised his eyebrow at her.
"Well....I don't like how she acts towards Lita... I'm feeling pity. By any chance... Do you want to team up to expose Vanessa?" She whispered.
"Expose my sister? This might break my loyalty towards her but you have a point there, well then I'll agree with you." He whispered back to her.
"Tomorrow... You go to the mansion, let's discuss it there. See you Elara" he said before leaving.
At the mansion of Astoria, Elara goes to the office of William where he tells her to go. She knocks on the door, as William opens the door, gesturing her to come in.
"So what plan will we have in mind to expose my sister?" He said quietly.
As they discussed the plan together...
