Chapter 169 - The Price of Divinity—Otsutsuki Harvest Begins

At this very moment, deep within the reconstructed psychic space, Otsutsuki Urashiki had finally lost all pretense of dignity. His once arrogant composure shattered into madness, his screeches echoing like wild beasts in a storm.

"Ahhhh!!! You devils! Get out of here! Get out of here!!! Get away from me!!! I am from the Otsutsuki clan! You inferior creatures! All deserve to die!!!"

His voice, filled with both panic and fury, only delighted Orochimaru even further. The snake-like shinobi narrowed his golden eyes and leaned closer, his sinuous tongue sliding out like a predator savoring its prey. His long, forked tongue licked across Urashiki's pale cheek.

Everyone in the chamber froze.

Even seasoned shinobi like Jiraiya couldn't help but shiver and step back. "Orochimaru is still such a pervert…" he muttered under his breath.

Souta Kazuki stood at the edge of the chamber, arms crossed, eyes gleaming. He didn't flinch. He had seen worse things since the Scroll of Seals fell into his hands, and now, with the Eight Inner Gates partially unlocked, he was far past being fazed by something like Orochimaru's antics.

Suddenly, the voice of the system rang clearly in Souta's mind, calm and mechanical.

[Congratulations to the host for successfully channeling the undead and obtaining the psychic beast: Otsutsuki Urashiki.]

[A random ability is being extracted…]

[Congratulations, host has acquired: Hirazaka.]

[This ability has been automatically learned.]

Souta's eyes widened slightly. Hirazaka? The ability to create rifts between dimensions. It was a technique worthy of the gods, usually only activated by the Rinnegan. Souta, however, didn't possess the Rinnegan. Can I really use it without the eye?

Driven by curiosity, Souta focused his chakra and reached out with his mind. With a subtle twist in space, a small shimmering tear formed in the air beside him. A ripple in the void.

He grinned.

So… it works.

Satisfied, Souta turned his attention to the next resurrection. It was time to move forward.

"One billion ryo," he muttered, "for a color summon."

[Confirmed. One billion ryo has been deducted.]

"Psychic Art!"

The colorful summoning circle spread again, golden kanji flaring along its edges. A second soul fire appeared — this time transforming into the hulking form of Otsutsuki Kinshiki. Souta eyed the resurrected behemoth with disinterest.

"No Rinnegan... disappointing," he murmured.

But that didn't stop the others. Uchiha Madara stepped forward without hesitation, his fingers precise and merciless. In one smooth motion, he gouged out Kinshiki's eyes. Hashirama, ever the cheerful butcher, followed with sage-enhanced restraints, binding Kinshiki's limbs before converting him into a writhing mass of chakra-filled flesh.

Kinshiki screamed and twisted like a giant maggot.

[Congratulations to the host for obtaining: Virtualization.]

[Ability has been loaded.]

Souta simply nodded. Virtualization would allow him to temporarily phase through matter. Useful, but not game-breaking. He made a mental note of it and prepared for the final summon.

The final cost was paid — another billion ryo down the drain.

[Color Summon initiated. Psychic beast resurrection complete.]

The golden flames roared upward and morphed into a more delicate figure. Piercing eyes, regal robes, and the haughty posture of a deity — Otsutsuki Momoshiki had arrived.

Uchiha Sasuke stepped forward, his Rinnegan already active.

"Watch out," he warned. "This one's different. His Rinnegan is in the palms of his hands. Chop off both arms first."

Madara and Hashirama acted instantly, no longer questioning Sasuke's words. In a blur of steel and chakra, Momoshiki's arms were severed. He barely had time to gasp before Madara drove his fingers into his eye sockets and plucked out both eyes. The once-mighty god fell like a rag doll, a shattered puppet without strings.

[Congratulations to the host for extracting: High Emperor Spirit Master.]

[Ability acquired. Capable of absorbing enemy chakra and unlocking one of two random sub-skills.]

Souta tilted his head. The ability was terrifying on paper — a true leech of chakra and technique. But in his hands, already overflowing with power, its potential felt... limited.

Meanwhile, Orochimaru was practically levitating in ecstasy. His eyes sparkled as he circled the three broken Otsutsuki forms now writhing in their respective seals.

At Souta's signal, the trio of remains was exhumed from the psychic circle's earth. The bodies twitched slightly but remained inert. Everyone looked on in confusion — until Souta turned to Orochimaru with a strange gleam in his eyes.

"Orochimaru, do you know of chakra fruit?"

Orochimaru's gaze sharpened. "Of course."

"These three," Souta said slowly, "are essentially raw materials. The Otsutsuki clan members turn into chakra fruits when devoured. Can you... extract that potential? Repurpose them into fruit? If we succeed, the entire strength of Konoha could leap forward."

For a brief second, even the ever-unflappable Orochimaru froze. Then he grinned — a mad, thrilled grin.

"I understand… I will begin researching the corpses immediately! These samples are priceless. Chakra fruits… hahahahahaha… I'll make it happen!"

Souta nodded. "You have full access to the scientific research department. I want results. Quickly."

Jiraiya and Tsunade exchanged glances. Even they were beginning to sense it — Souta wasn't just any summoner. He was reshaping the entire future of Konoha from the shadows.

With the Otsutsuki threat dismantled, the atmosphere shifted. The tension had vanished — replaced by awe and rising ambition.

Tsunade, Jiraiya, and Orochimaru stepped forward together, holding out three scrolls — the summoning contracts of the Three Great Sage Regions.

"Those who wish to inherit Sage Mode, step forward," Jiraiya announced.

One by one, ninja moved forward, names written, contracts sealed.

Uchiha Madara, now curious, chose Ryuchi Cave. "They say it's hard to deal with... Good. I'll see how difficult they truly are."

Orochimaru grinned as he cast the reverse summoning, teleporting Madara to the snake pit with a flick of his wrist.

And as the light faded, Orochimaru murmured to himself with a chuckle, "Feels good to have someone stronger go first for once… hahahahahaha…"
