Nora Davis Pov
Mentally rolling my eyes for the hundredth time this hour I reassure Alexander once again that Iam completely fine.
"It's nothing honestly. I don't even have a headache" I say softly hoping it will sit and stay in his mind but alas no hope.
"No you're not you need stitches" he replies back in a stern voice.
I sigh and just wait for the doctor to come.
It was around six in the morning when we arrived at the hospital and there were still so many people around.
Doctors were running through the wards and people lined the hallways, some were sitting down in chairs while others were pacing back and forth waiting for loved ones to be announced safe and well.
We had to wait in the waiting room for quite some time but it was understandable.
Only Alexander didn't seem to understand.
Finally we were ushered into a small cubicle type place with a light blue curtain separating us from the people next to us.
I was sitting on the small uncomfortable bed while Alexander still paced backwards and forwards as we waited for the doctor or nurse to arrive.
Finally the curtain slides back and a smiling green eyed, red haired doctor smiles up at us.
She looks from me to Alexander and then comes over to me.
"Good morning. I'm Dr. Cosins. I'll be treating you today" she says beaming.
"Okay so which one of you love birds need help" she questions as she already knowing the answer comes over to me.
Lovebirds?
What?
With a blazing face I try to stutter out "oh n-no we're no-" but get cut off as Alexander wanders closer and says "Nora does".
I look up at him with a question look on my face but he doesn't meet my gaze.
The doctor frowns at the wound above my eye as she slips her gloves on. She prods at it while I wince in pain. She asses the wound some more before announcing "she needs stitches".
Oh hell no. I am not getting stitches.
I mean it can heal on its own right?
"I thought so" musses a thoughtful Alexander as if he was a doctor himself.
Not listening to my pleads of not getting the stitches, the doctor assures me that it doesn't hurt much and that I have nothing to worry about.
"Are you still grumbling about the stitches?" asks Alexander clearly amused as he starts up his car.
"She lied to me" I say sourly. It hurt like a little bitch.
"It wasn't that bad" he says almost laughing now.
"Have you ever even had stitches?" I question him.
"Nope" he answers back calmly.
I roll my eyes at him once again and then suddenly remember he had called me to his house for a reason.
I somewhat turn in my seat to face him so I can ask him the question on my mind.
"Why did you call me all of a sudden?".
Seeing the confusion on his face I clarify.
"You called me early in the morning to your house for a reason. Why?". I ask him, phrasing my question better.
"Oh" he says looking over at me then quickly shifting his gaze to the road.
"I needed you to grab a file for me" he says not looking at me.
"But you were already there at the house. You could've gotten it yourself?" I question, completely befuddled.
"Yeah but I needed to go somewhere else afterwards and that needed to be sent today" he answers back sounding somewhat annoyed now.
I nod my head not wanting to say anything to annoy him further.
We reach the building soon after our conversation and we both part ways as he goes into his office while I go and sit in the small separate room next to the receptionist for that specific floor.
We barely talk to each other.
I tried my best once or twice to have a decent conversation with her but every time she just used to answer me in clipped short answers.
To hell with her then.
Now we just merely said our hello's and that's that.
An hour goes by when the telephone at my desk makes a noise, startling me out of going through Alexander's work email to file the important things away and what not.
Noticing the little red button beeping that connected to Alexander's line, I quickly pick
up.
"Come in now Nora" he snaps and then hangs up.
I stand up and stretch a little as my leg starts to cramp, ignoring the weird looks I get from the receptionist.
Heading into Alexander's office without knocking, as he told me to do so, I watch him signal for me to wait.
I do so as he finishes writing something.
He beckons me further with a stern look on his face.
Did I do something wrong?
I rack my brain for various things I could have done but come up blank.
Alexander motions for me to sit down and says, "you never had breakfast".
That's what this was all about?
How did he even know that? Oh right the doctor asked me before she stitched the cut.
I just nod my head before he motions to a brown paper bag on the desk that I hadn't noticed up till now.
"You need to eat" he says still looking up at me.
"Oh no I'm fine honestly Mr. Alexander" I say timidly, feeling kind of awkward.
"Just call me Alexander. And you need to eat. It's not healthy going without breakfast" he simply says.
I nod my head before grabbing the bag and thanking him as I stand up.
"Where are you going?" He asks with his head now bent, focusing on some papers on his desk.
"Outside?" I say though it comes out more of a question.
"No sit and eat here so I can make sure you actually do eat all of it".
Not questioning him or defying him, I sit down and cross my legs, opening up the bag. My breakfast consisted of a breakfast muffin, a small sandwich, a granola bar and a coffee.
How am I supposed to eat all that?
Looking up at him I see him staring down at me almost daring me to oppose him.
Taking the things out one by one I chew slowly, careful not to make a sound in the now silent room.
This is so awkward.

"Nora, can you come in please" asks Alexander from the other end of the phone line.
"Uh sure one moment please" I say back quickly signing off on the form in front of me.
The line cuts off as I finish what I was doing.
It's not even been an hour since I last went in and he's already calling me.
Looking at the receptionist on the telephone making a personal call, I ignore her and carry on to Alexander's office.
Pushing the door open and stepping into the office I look for Alexander but he isn't at his desk.
"Alexander?" I call out timidly.
The only answer I get is the closing of the office door behind me.
Trying to whirl around I stop as hands grasp my shoulders from behind, freezing me in place.
I am pushed flush against a body, my face heating up as I feel harsh breathing against my face.
"You have no idea what you do to me do you Nora?" questions a husky voice from behind.
I try to turn around once more but the hands grasping my shoulders don't allow me to do so.
One of his hands trail down from my shoulder grasping my hand while the other goes around my waist pulling me even closer to him, letting me feel every single inch of him.
"Alexander" I gasp out breathless.
"That's right baby get used to saying my name. You'll be screaming it soon" he whispers, bringing his lips closer to my ear and then nibbling on it lightly.
Alexander trails his lips down to my neck, leaving a fiery path behind.
He leaves an opened mouth kiss on the spot before biting and sucking on it.
Why am I letting him do this?
I am about to protest and ask him to let me go but he bites onto the now tender spot eliciting a breathy moan from me, making all rational thoughts fly from my head.
All of a sudden I am spun around and shoved lightly onto the door with Alexander's hand grasping my neck from behind.
He brings his face closer to mine, eyes wild with lust.
Not being able to control myself anymore I bring my face closer to his but he grabs me firmly by my hair, careful not to hurt me.
"Not so fast Nora" he whispers as he brings his lips closer to mine, brushing them against mine, oh so softly.
Not being able to hold myself back I resist his hand in my hair and slam my lips onto his.
I can feel Alexander smirk against me but I don't care as he then kisses me with a crazed fervour.
My hands go into his hair as he grabs onto my waist with one hand and the other pinning me to the door.
Our lips slide over each other in a harsh want as he bites onto my lip, tugging it gently before gliding his tongue into my mouth with no resistance or complaints from me.
I was enjoying myself way too much to give a damn about the consequences right now.
Grabbing me by the waist he pulls away once more trailing kisses from my mouth to my jaw.
He grasps my hips and squeezes, motioning for me to jump.
I jump and wrap my legs around his waist as he gets a hold of my thighs, taking me from the door over to his desk, placing me down on the edge of it.
He stands in between my legs and opens his mouth to say something when a disturbance rings through the room.
Groaning in frustration, ignoring the noise I pull him closer to me but there is no hope.
Huffing up in my bed, I slam my palm to my head not believing what I had just dreamed of and to think I was enjoying myself.
"Ugh" I groan into the empty bedroom.
I can not believe I just had a wet dream.
Just the mere thought of it left me feeling weird and awkward.
How am I supposed to face him today? I'd die of embarrassment.
Scrambling out of bed quickly I go to take a shower.
The lord knows I need one.
****
Stepping out of the elevator and onto the top floor I feel dread course through me as I see Alexander leaning against my desk, glaring at the floor and thankfully not looking up yet.
"He won't suspect a thing. I can totally play this off" I give myself a pep talk.
Walking into the room Alexander snaps his head towards me.
Just that simple action makes my face flush and I know today is going to be a long day.
Alexander narrows his eyes at me, taking me in but doesn't say anything.
"You're late" is all he simply says.
"I'm so sorry. It's just my alarm didn't go off until late and there was to much traffic an-" I blabber on and on, not daring to look him in the eyes.
"Calm down Nora. Just don't let it happen again" he says looking at me in confusion.
I shake my head quickly before placing my bag down onto the desk.
Looking up I see Alexander still gazing down at me.
"Is something wrong Nora?" he questions. "You look a little flushed" he says in concern.
"N-no I'm completely fine. You should honestly let me work you know. Your email isn't going to sort itself right. Haha yeah".
Wow so smooth Nora. You deserve a pat on the back.
An emotion flashes through Alexander's eyes before he quickly gives me a once over before nodding his head and heading over to his office.
He pauses mid way, turns back to look at me, shakes his head and then carries on into his office.

"I can not believe you. Oh my god you are so adorable and awkward" breathes out a laughing Candice.
"It's not funny" I say huffing.
"Even Alexander looked at me weird and asked if something was wrong".
Just by saying that makes Candice go into full blown laughter once again.
She leans against the printer for support, careful not to press any buttons as she sighs trying to catch her breath.
Rolling my eyes at her once more, I grab the papers I need to take to Alexander and turn around.
"Nora wait, Caleb's going to be coming over at lunch. Just thought I'd let you know".
I nod my head and smile at the thought of meeting Caleb once again.
Sighing for now as I still had more than half a day to go with Alexander.
