Chapter 8 - CHAPTER || DEATH

"Alright, you win. I'll bring you food, you'll do whatever I say, understand, little rat?" he asked, a smug grin returning to the corner of his lips. Waiting for him to answer the conditions he had given.

"Yes, I'll clean your dirty house." He replied, sighing with a flat expression that was hard to explain. The person chuckled, a low and playful smirk forming at the corner of his lips as he watched the expression on his face without rejecting it or whining. "Oh, you'll make a good servant, hm~?"

He immediately felt a shiver down his spine as the man spoke in a raspy voice, and it sounded like someone was teasing. His sour and flat expression reappeared on his small face, which was full of small cuts, as one of the men gently traced his neck.

"Okay, where's the food, I'm hungry." He urged, pushing the man's big hand away from his neck.

The person chuckled again, his eyes still watching his expression, while his hand returned to trace his neck, slowly even though he had pushed it away several times. His claws almost grazed him, like a teasing promise of what was to come.

"I'll get you food now, little rat.. Sit still, and don't move an inch." He asked.

"Yes."

she replied briefly, his expression still flat. The man laughed once more, one of his hands brushing aside the strands of hair that covered his face, which was full of small cuts. His grin widened as he looked at him.

"You're so obedient, little rat, really.. Enjoyable. I might be tempted to keep you for myself." She whispered softly, his voice changing to a calm and teasing tone. Before she pulled away and stood up.

She sat in silence, hungry, waiting for his food to arrive as the man left. His gaze turned to the room that looked old and worn.

 "Hah~ where should I go after this?" She muttered to himself. She felt a little strange about himself because he felt the pain fading.

"Strange, what did that man do to me?" She wondered. She sighed, lying down on the bed that felt like a stone.

She stared at the ceiling that illuminated the room with dim light, his mind racing about the future that lay ahead.

 His tears suddenly fell again as she remembered what had happened before.

"Well.. we'll see. I guess the journey isn't bad either." She muttered, a small grin on his lips as he imagined tomorrow.

She wiped his face, sighing heavily and sitting back up. She looked at the small cuts on his body, some of which had dried, perhaps because of the medicine the man had given him.

 "Naga's god huh? Wait, don't naga's like to eat humans?" She muttered to himself, he shivered at the thought of the man bringing and serving him human flesh.

"Ugh.. could I be the next victim? That man also said, I won't be able to escape him."

She muttered again with a fearful expression and trembling.
