"No way… I died here?!"
Obito stood in shock as realization dawned on him. "Impossible! I'm a genius! How could I have died so easily?"
His Sharingan talent had been acknowledged by His Majesty. Even among the Uchiha clan, only a handful could match his potential. And in this version of the ninja world…
He hadn't even had the chance to display his talent before dying young?!
"You are... Uchiha Obito?"
Momochi Zabuza narrowed his eyes, studying the young Uchiha. "The same Obito from Konoha, the hero of the Kannabi Bridge battle? According to history, you died in the 46th year of the Konoha Calendar."
Zabuza looked to Hatake Kakashi for confirmation. Judging by his reaction, it was true.
Damn it, what was going on? Were these people really from another world?
"The 46th year of the Konoha Calendar…" Obito muttered. He quickly did the conversion in his head. "That's the 6th year of the Empire's Calendar—when I was twelve!"
His eyes widened.
"I died at twelve?!"
That was way too soon!
"The Third Great Ninja War was at its peak then," Kakashi said quietly. "Many of our classmates at the academy never made it past that battlefield."
Obito frowned. "You had a third war in this timeline?"
"The history here is different from ours," Black Kakashi explained. "There was no Empire in this world, so the ninja world remained in the era of the Five Great Nations."
Obito clicked his tongue. "Tsk, tsk… So backward. The ninja world isn't even unified?"
The Empire was obviously the superior path.
When he had first emerged from the Dragon Vein portal and seen the barren desert outside, he had been shocked.
Just how primitive was this ninja world? There were still places this desolate?
"By the way," Black Kakashi suddenly asked, his interest piqued, "your Sharingan… did the Obito of this world give it to you?"
He had been curious for a while but never had the time to ask.
White Kakashi hesitated before nodding. "Yes… before he died, Obito entrusted me with his Sharingan. He wanted me to see the world with his eyes."
Obito was silent for a moment before a smile tugged at his lips.
"So, it seems that in this world, I had a good relationship with Kakashi."
To entrust his Sharingan before dying—it must have meant their bond was deep.
Suddenly, Sasuke, who had been waiting impatiently, spoke up.
"Aren't you forgetting something? The gift?"
His tone was eager, his patience wearing thin.
The way Obito had hyped it up earlier—Sasuke was sure it was something that could boost his strength.
Now that he had made up his mind, he just wanted to go to the other world, where the training conditions were better. He needed to get stronger as soon as possible.
Naruto from that world was his age but already far stronger than him.
There was no reason why Sasuke couldn't match him.
If Naruto could do it, so could he!
"Hold on."
Obito's Sharingan flashed red, and in an instant, his eyes transformed into a pitch-black, boomerang-patterned Mangekyō.
A swirling vortex appeared in the air, and Obito disappeared into it.
Everyone stared in shock.
What kind of ability was that?!
Before anyone could process what had happened, the vortex swirled again, and Obito reappeared—this time, holding a syringe filled with a strange liquid.
"Here it is!" Obito grinned, holding up the syringe. "This is the First-Order Sage Body Fusion Potion. His Majesty sent it after your application."
He had stored multiple items in his Kamui space before coming here.
At the time, it had felt like he was just being used as a walking storage unit.
But he had probably been overthinking it… right?
"Sage Body… fusion potion?"
White Kakashi's eyes widened.
This was the result of Chakra fusion technology?
"This is a product of His Majesty's Chakra fusion research," Black Kakashi explained. "It integrates Sage Body traits using Yang Release Chakra. This is just the most basic version—the Empire mass-produces it, and it's widely available."
"How do I use it?" Sasuke asked eagerly, eyes locked on the syringe.
Fusing Sage Body… Just how much would that enhance his power?
"You just inject it," Obito said casually, rolling up Sasuke's sleeve.
"Wait—" Sasuke hesitated, suddenly feeling like a test subject. "Don't I need some kind of preparation?"
It felt too rushed.
Was this safe?
Obito didn't give him time to resist.
He swiftly pressed the syringe to Sasuke's arm and injected the potion.
For a moment, there was silence.
Everyone's eyes were glued to Sasuke.
Would it work?
"Huh…"
Sasuke exhaled sharply as Obito pulled the needle out.
Was that it?
What was supposed to happen?
"Sasuke, how do you feel?" White Kakashi asked, concerned.
"If anything happens to Sasuke, I won't forgive you!" Naruto snapped.
But Black Kakashi, Menma, and Obito remained completely unbothered.
This was the most basic Sage Body potion—widely used in the Empire for years.
How could something possibly go wrong?
Suddenly—
"Ugh…"
Sasuke groaned softly.
His body felt hot, as if something was expanding inside him.
A deep, primal energy surged through his veins, circulating rapidly.
Then—
His Sharingan activated on its own!
The two-tomoe pattern in each eye began spinning rapidly. Faster. Faster!
Then—
One of the tomoe in each eye split apart, forming a third.
His Sharingan had evolved!
Three-Tomoe Sharingan!
The air grew tense as everyone around him watched in astonishment.
The potion had worked.
Sasuke clenched his fists, feeling the newfound power coursing through him.
This was just the beginning.
And he was ready for more.
