"Pfft!"

After receiving confirmation from Kuro Kakashi once more, Senju Tobirama couldn't help but burst into laughter.

It was simply too funny!

The Uchiha clan… completely wiped out!

And the most ironic part? The one responsible was none other than the clan leader's own son!

"As expected of the Uchihas," Tobirama mused.

If it had been any other clan, he might have suspected a hidden conspiracy behind their downfall. But this was the Uchiha. Given their history, especially the erratic and destructive tendencies of those who awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan, this wasn't surprising in the least. In fact, he wouldn't even put it past them to have orchestrated their own demise.

Trying to suppress his amusement, Tobirama cleared his throat. "So, let me get this straight. The Uchiha, once hailed as the number one clan in the shinobi world, has been reduced to just two survivors—one being the traitor Uchiha Itachi and the other his younger brother, Uchiha Sasuke?"

"That's correct, at least as far as our current information suggests," Kuro Kakashi replied, unfazed by Tobirama's reaction.

Tobirama's disdain for the Uchiha was well-known among the Empire's higher-ups. His reaction wasn't shocking in the slightest.

However, before Tobirama could revel any further, a deep voice interrupted.

"Tobirama!"

Senju Hashirama, the First Hokage, shot his younger brother a disapproving glare. "What kind of attitude is that?! How can you laugh about something so tragic?! The Uchiha were once our comrades in Konoha. And now, even in this Empire, they are considered descendants of the Six Paths!"

Tobirama's lips twitched, but he didn't argue.

"The Uchiha clan was massacred, and you find that amusing?! This isn't something to celebrate!" Hashirama continued.

Tobirama sighed, finally managing to suppress his smirk. "Ahem… Big Brother, I'll reflect on my actions." He forced his face into a neutral expression and turned towards the Emperor. "Your Majesty, I didn't intend to undermine the unity of the Empire. I simply couldn't help myself. It won't happen again."

At the side, Chang Ye—the Emperor—gave Tobirama a knowing glance.

"Tobirama, don't celebrate too soon."

Tobirama frowned. "What do you mean?"

Chang Ye smirked. "Just wait. This so-called 'Number One Ninja World' might have more surprises in store for you."

Tobirama narrowed his eyes. What did His Majesty mean by that? Was there something else about that world he didn't know yet?

What other surprises could possibly be left in that shinobi world?

Chang Ye didn't elaborate. Instead, he turned his attention to Kuro Kakashi.

"What's your assessment of this alternate ninja world?"

Kuro Kakashi took a moment to think. "From what I've observed, the shinobi world there is still stuck in the old era. The concept of shinobi, the development of jutsu, technology, and even overall civilization are all relatively primitive compared to our Empire."

He hesitated before adding, "There are also a few lingering mysteries regarding Konoha in that world."

"Oh?"

"For instance, the circumstances surrounding Orochimaru's defection seem unclear. Additionally, the Uchiha massacre itself may have hidden factors we've yet to uncover."

Kuro Kakashi paused. "Even my own father's death—Sakumo Hatake, the White Fang of Konoha—feels… questionable. Not to mention the Nine-Tails attack that led to the death of the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze. There could be more at play than we initially assumed."

Hearing this, Chang Ye chuckled.

"If you're interested, then by all means, investigate. I suspect you'll find plenty of surprises waiting for you."

He leaned back, a glint of amusement in his eyes.

"After all, in my world, I've already unified the entire shinobi realm."

At that statement, everyone in the room fell silent.

Forty years into the Konoha Calendar, Chang Ye had already changed the course of history. He had reshaped the ninja world, guiding it toward a new era. Because of that, many of the events that transpired in other realities had never come to pass in his own.

"I suspect that when you see the differences firsthand, you'll be in for quite the eye-opener," he added.

Kuro Kakashi nodded.

Meanwhile, Menma, standing nearby, looked slightly hesitant.

"Your Majesty, is there anything specific we should be doing in that world?" he asked.

Chang Ye tapped his fingers thoughtfully.

"For now, your main goal should be to influence and change that world in the direction you deem best," he said. "I have a theory that if I gain more recognition from the will of other worlds, it may help strengthen my own power."

His gaze sharpened.

"And that power will be crucial in dealing with the Ōtsutsuki threat in the future."

Everyone tensed at the mention of the Ōtsutsuki. Even Tobirama's amusement faded.

"I don't need to spell it out for you," Chang Ye continued. "You've all been educated under the Empire's philosophy. How you choose to act in that world is up to you."

Menma and Kuro Kakashi exchanged glances.

"Understood, Your Majesty," they responded in unison.

But despite their outward confidence, a sense of unease lingered between them.

"In addition to shaping the world as you see fit, you should also gather valuable resources from that realm," Chang Ye added. "And remember—when entering a new world, the natural progression of power will lead to the rise of more Six Paths-level warriors… perhaps even those who surpass that level."

He smirked.

"Consider them your rewards as the vanguard."

The implication was clear: any powerful individuals they encountered in that world could become allies… or stepping stones.

"It all depends on whether you can seize those opportunities."

Tobirama crossed his arms, deep in thought.

Chang Ye continued, "If you require anything from our side, report to Tobirama. I'll have Obito deliver it to you."

At that, Kuro Kakashi's expression stiffened slightly.

Obito…

While he had a good relationship with Uchiha Obito, the man's personality was still… questionable.

Somehow, he wasn't sure if having Obito handle deliveries was a blessing or a disaster waiting to happen.

Regardless, he set aside his personal thoughts and refocused.

For now, their mission was clear.

Their arrival in this parallel ninja world was going to bring about major change—whether for better or worse.

And the first step?

Finding Uchiha Sasuke.

If they could bring him over to their side, it would prevent the Sage of Six Paths from interfering for the time being.

"Convincing Sasuke shouldn't be difficult," Chang Ye mused. "This child has been through enough. There's no need for force—just reason with him."

Kuro Kakashi nodded.

And so, the wheels of fate began to turn.

This alternate shinobi world was about to experience a shift unlike anything before.
