(Capital-Aurora City)
Xandros appeared a few meters from the pedestrian city gate. There were several legal ways to enter Aurora, but the most common were via aerial transport or the city gate.
As he gazed at the towering structure before him, he was momentarily taken aback by its sheer size. The gate was massive, adorned with sleek silver plating, and integrated with advanced technology for efficient passage. Several teleportation portals dotted its openings, each guarded by sentries clad in high-tech suits and armed with laser rifles. The openings were categorized by citizenship levels, with Grade 5 being the highest.
Observing the steady flow of individuals from different races entering and exiting, Xandros confirmed that this was an inter-racial planet. Since he stood some distance from the entrance, he had yet to draw attention.
"Impressive. Their level of technology suggests a Tier 5 civilization," he mused aloud.
As the thought crossed his mind, he suddenly recalled something.
"Layla, give me all the information about this planet, including details even its Primordials don't know."
"Of course, Master. That's an easy request," she responded in his mind.
Instantly, torrents of information flooded his consciousness—secrets known and unknown to all inhabitants, including the two Primordials governing this world. Unlike the typical cliché of excruciating pain when absorbing vast knowledge, he felt a refreshing clarity wash over him. He now understood the planet's politics, military capabilities, hidden enemies, and the past, present, and future figures who would shape its destiny.
With his newfound knowledge, he felt confident in blending in as a citizen.
Xandros took a step forward, striding toward the city gate. However, after only a few steps, he noticed something unusual. The previously bustling surroundings had fallen silent.
At first, he was puzzled, but then he saw it—almost everyone, including the guards, was staring at him in stunned silence.
He quickly understood.
His appearance alone had left them speechless.
As he approached the designated passage, people unconsciously parted, making way for him as if compelled by an invisible force.
Stopping before the guard, Xandros spoke in a tone neither too humble nor too arrogant.
"Hello, I'd like to enter the inner sector of the city," he said, presenting his citizenship card for confirmation.
The guard's eyes widened, and he visibly stiffened.
"Y-Yes, Your Highness," he stammered, snapping out of his trance.
Xandros was mildly amused by the noble address but chose not to correct him. After all, he was indirectly nobility in more ways than one.
"Confirmation successful, Your Highness. This passage will take you directly to the inner city," the guard managed to say with great effort.
"Thank you. Keep up the good work," Xandros replied before stepping into the whirling portal.
The guard bowed his head in gratitude, watching until Xandros disappeared from sight.
"Phew… that was suffocating. Who was that? He looked young and human, but his presence, his attire… everything about him felt otherworldly," the guard thought, wiping sweat from his forehead.
Meanwhile, the surrounding civilians remained in a daze.
"How can someone be so divine?"
"Yes… yes! He's too attractive!"
"His clothes, his aura—everything about him is godly."
"But did anyone else notice? We didn't feel lust staring at him… it was as if—"
"We couldn't feel it."
"Wow, I hope we get to see him again."
"Same! I wish I could bear his children!"
"Shut up, fool! You shall not taint our prince!"
"Tsk, tsk… these bitches."
"Who are you calling a bitch, bitch?!"
As chaotic chatter erupted at the gate, Xandros had already arrived in the inner city, standing before the Awakener Association headquarters.
The moment he appeared in the hall, the same stunned expressions greeted him.
Why wouldn't they be shocked?
He mogged them all.
Every individual in the hall stared at him with admiration and reverence. It was becoming troublesome. With a subtle thought, he controlled his overwhelming charm, easing its effect. Though they were still captivated by his looks, they could now maintain their composure.
Approaching the reception desk, he met the gaze of a beautiful woman, her smile radiant as if she had discovered an invaluable treasure. He internally shook his head.
"Hello. I'm new to the city. Here's my ID card—I'd like to retrieve my possessions since I'll be staying here for the academy," Xandros said, his voice effortlessly enchanting.
The receptionist blinked, snapped out of her thoughts.
"Y-Yes! Welcome to the Awakener Association. We are pleased to have you in our city," she responded professionally.
She glanced at his ID.
"According to your card, you're a Tier-3 citizen. Your benefits have been activated. You can tap the card to be transported there instantly," she informed him.
"Great. Is there anything else I need to do?" he asked.
She hesitated briefly.
"Sir, your age states that you're 16, and you are an awakened. However… your rank hasn't been uploaded. I apologize if this is an inconvenience, but we must confirm it as part of protocol," she explained in a careful tone, as if afraid of offending him.
Xandros understood and had no intention of making things difficult.
"That's fine. Let's proceed," he replied.
Relieved, she placed a crystalline orb on the desk.
"Please place your hand on the crystal and channel your mana, sir."
Xandros did as instructed.
The moment he poured in his mana, the crystal reacted violently, glowing intensely.
The result?
C+ Rank Awakener.
The receptionist froze.
At 16, reaching C+ rank was absurd. Even dragons—beings known for their superior talent—would struggle to reach such a level at that age.
If she knew he had awakened only a few hours ago, she would have passed out from sheer shock.
"Is there a problem?" Xandros asked, watching her frozen state.
"N-No, sir! The process is complete. You are free to go," she stammered, blushing in embarrassment.
Xandros knew she was shocked by his talent. Normally, one would hide such power to avoid being targeted by dark forces.
But he didn't care.
If this were before—when he lacked protection—he would have been cautious. But now?
He was literally protected by existence itself.
The one within his soul.
And the one in which he currently resided.
He was the anomaly of anomalies.
Of course, that didn't mean he would become an arrogant young master courting death at every turn.
"Thank you. Have a nice day," Xandros said before leaving.
The onlookers, having witnessed his rank, were left in disbelief.
No other race could achieve such talent.
Where had this young man come from?
Meanwhile, the receptionist wasted no time. She immediately called the President of the Awakener Association.
"Hello, President Volkov. I have something important to report," she said.
A deep voice answered.
"Hmm? What is it?"
She relayed every detail about Xandros—his rank, his unheard-of talent, his unknown origins.
"Are you certain?" the voice on the other end asked.
"I'm 100% sure, sir," she confirmed.
"Very well. If this is verified, you will be rewarded. Send me all his details immediately," Volkov ordered.
"Thank you, sir!" she replied excitedly.

In a luxurious office, a middle-aged yet strikingly handsome man sat in deep thought. His frown deepened as he studied a hologram filled with Xandros' information.
Volkov Thane, the Flame Saint, was an S-rank Awakener and the highest authority in the Awakener Association.
"This is strange… his race isn't recorded, and his origins are listed as a Divine Kingdom from a hidden planet. Even Celestials aren't this talented. Could he be an old demon in a young body?"
He shook his head. "No… he's been scanned. And he's joining the academy?"
Volkov sighed, rubbing his temples.
"The city won't be peaceful anymore."
With that, he left his office, preparing for an urgent board meeting.
Today was going to be a long day.
