The door swings open, a middle aged bald man with a wide smile dressed in a neatly pressed suit and a white bow tie greets us warmly inviting us in,even the staff look fancier than me
He motions for us to follow him,we do,hand in hand we walk behind himas he leads us through the house the smell of fried plantains and good food fill the air around me,i think i might be in heaven.
The walls are white and the ceiling are high,a big chanderllia hangs in the very middle of the space just past the living room facing the massive open kitchen the stairs are grand on either side, with an elegant curve and woody brown railings, the house is bright, lights are everywhere,the windows are tall stretching high up i have to crane my neck to see the top.
It is beautiful, It is grand everything about it the decorator really did a fantastic job seamlessly blending the enchanting,rustic elegance of an old victorian mansion with the clean modern finish of french luxury,it is impecable, i was almost fully convinced i had stepped into a whole different era.
Again,i couldn't stop the hmnn's and ah's that escaped me as i walked further into the house admiring all of its beauty and intricate detailing.
He led us towards the kitchen, Where Mrs rivers was standing smiling wide, she rushes over immediately wrapping my mom in a warm welcoming hug, she hugs me too, gushing over how good we both look
