Chapter 25 - He isn't mysterious Son

[Chapter 25: He isn't mysterious Son]

"What the hell is going on?" Fan Yu exclaimed, his face filled with surprise.

What could be so important that it required the old man from the Sea God Pavilion to bring it forward? And why was it related to Zhou Yi again? Moreover, this teacher knew that Zhou Yi had been wronged, yet he still wanted to find Zhou Yi…

"Fan Yu, don't get too worked up. Elders are still waiting,"

Hearing this, Fan Yu and Zhou Yi exchanged glances, thought for a moment, and then followed the teacher to the teaching office.

As for Huo Yuhao, he was sent back to the Martial Soul Department by Fan Yu's eldest disciple and Caitou.

"It must be Hua Huo's doing. It's a shame she can figure out such things..." Huo Yuhao muttered to himself.

He naturally knew what was going on.

He also knew that Hua Huo had transformed into Mu En and headed to the teaching office...

After leaving the soul tool Department, Huo Yuhao went straight back to the dormitory and happened to run into Mu En downstairs.

"Little guy, your little girlfriend's ability to imitate others is truly remarkable!" Mu En said, a faint smile playing on his lips.

Mu En was speaking sincerely, not sarcastically.

If he hadn't seen it with his own eyes, even he wouldn't have been able to tell the difference.

"Old man, you know, Hua Huo and I have been alone since we were kids. We've always relied on each other..." Huo Yuhao began.

Mu En: "..."

He already knew Huo Yuhao's true origins and could only sympathize with the boy's plight.

Although Huo Yuhao still had family members alive, for all intents and purposes, he might as well have been an orphan.

As for Hua Huo's origins, Mu En hadn't been able to find a single trace!

But given how much attention the god realm paid to Huo Yuhao and Hua Huo, it was clear that Hua Huo's origins weren't sinister.

Perhaps she had descended from somewhere from above to train! It was no wonder he couldn't find any traces.

Wang Dong: "???"

"They say that children from poor families grow up fast. If Hua Huo didn't have such abilities, we probably would have been killed long ago..." Huo Yuhao continued, tears and snot streaming down his face, his words moving anyone who listened.

Mu En simply watched Huo Yuhao's performance with a smile, amused by the boy's dramatic flair.

The moisture in this little guy's speech was a bit excessive!

"At this age, it's understandable to be playful," Mu En said gently, tapping his right hand on the recliner.

"But she caused quite a bit of trouble for a teacher."

If Hua Huo really was the "little princess" who had descended from the divine realm, it was natural for her to be a bit mischievous.

This also explained why her strength far surpassed that of her peers.

What was so unusual about children from that place having higher soul power?

Hearing this, Huo Yuhao remained unfazed, his expression unchanged.

Should he know about this?

Mu En had been talking about Hua Huo's imitation ability earlier, so it was normal for Huo Yuhao to know some details.

Now, Mu En was bringing up the trouble Hua Huo had caused for a teacher, clearly trying to steer the conversation elsewhere.

He's just a quasi-great soul master; he shouldn't know these things.

"Old man, what's going on?" Huo Yuhao asked quietly.

Almost at the same time, both Mu En and Huo Yuhao thought to themselves 'Little guy (old thing), how clever!'

Mu En, seeing that Huo Yuhao was clueless, decided to explain the situation to him.

"What? How could Hua Huo do such a thing?" Huo Yuhao feigned shock and continued, "Old man, are you sure you're not mistaken?"

Mu En: "..."

"Alas, Hua Huo actually did such a thing... it's really... (Great!)"

"Old man, since Hua Huo did this, I am also responsible. So, how about this? Expel both Hua Huo and me. Although we love the academy dearly, such actions cannot be forgiven!"

Mu En: "..."

He had finally managed to stabilize Huo Yuhao and Hua Huo and get them to join Shrek Academy.

How could he easily expel them now?

After a moment of thought, Mu En said, "You can't blame Hua Huo entirely for this. This teacher's usual behavior has indeed tarnished the reputation of Shrek Academy."

"Regardless of Hua Huo's intentions for disguising herself this time, she has essentially helped Shrek Academy by removing a bad influence."

Expel Hua Huo and Huo Yuhao?

How could he? He wasn't Xuanzi; he didn't want to be struck by lightning!

Mu En's meaning was clear: even if this incident had nothing to do with Zhou Yi, Zhou Yi would have to take the blame.

Even if everyone knew she was wronged, her past actions were enough to justify her removal from Shrek Academy ten times over.

"So shouldn't Hua Huo be rewarded for this?" Huo Yuhao asked.

"After all, she helped the academy get rid of a bad influence. Shouldn't the academy be grateful to her?"

Hearing this, the corner of Mu En's eye twitched.

He glanced at Huo Yuhao, this shameless little brat, and almost lost his composure.

A reward? This "little princess" had already caused enough trouble for Shrek's higher-ups.

He didn't believe for a second that anyone else saw her as anything but a ticking time bomb.

"No!" Mu En waved his hand, and a soft golden light enveloped Huo Yuhao, pushing him back dozens of meters to the door of Dormitory 108.

Huo Yuhao waved his hand, unfazed, and muttered in Mu En's direction, "Tch, stingy. No reward for contributing to the academy?"

Mu En closed his eyes tightly and said nothing.

Seeing this, Huo Yuhao didn't press further.

He pushed open the door and walked into the dormitory.

Wang Dong hadn't returned yet; "he" was still waiting for Du Weilun's notice on the playground.

After all, today's events had escalated far beyond expectations.

---

Meanwhile, in the Teaching Office.

Xuanzi's face did not look good. His expression was still green and swollen.

After the Sea God Pavilion meeting, his confinement had ended, so he now understood why he had been struck by lightning and why Mu En had publicly reprimanded him.

"Elder Mu!" Xuanzi greeted "Mu En" respectfully.

He hadn't expected today's events to once again draw the attention of this figure.

"Mu En" nodded slightly but ignored Xuanzi.

Instead, he turned to Du Weilun and said, "Xiao Du, go and retrieve all the complaints filed against Zhou Yi over the years."

Hearing this, Du Weilun was shocked. He quickly saluted "Mu En" and replied, "Understood, Elder Mu!"

As a mid-to-high-ranking member of Shrek Academy, Du Weilun was well aware of who Mu En was.

Although he couldn't grasp Mu En's reasoning, he obeyed the order without hesitation.

"This Zhou Yi has gone too far this time. She must be severely punished!" Xuanzi chimed in, his voice filled with anger.

Hearing this, "Mu En" glanced at Xuanzi and said calmly, "Xuanzi, anger clouds judgment. You should return to the Seagod Pavilion and confine yourself for a few more days."

Xuanzi: "???"

What? He had just been released. Why was he being confined again?

"What? Have you stopped listening to me now?" "Mu En" asked, tilting his head slightly while locking eyes with Xuanzi.

That single glance was enough to make Xuanzi's heart skip a beat. Without another word, he hurried out of the teaching office and flew back toward the Sea god Pavilion.
