Chapter 15 - CHAPTER 15 - THE ETERNAL MADNESS

[Scene: Dimensional Dream – A Void Beyond Time]

 The silence was suffocating.

The air was thick, twisted—warped by the weight of something far beyond human understanding.

And at the center of it stood him.

Asahi: (on his knees, head lowered, left hand gripping his left eye.)

His breath—ragged. His fingers—trembling. His entire being was shifting.

FA:(breathing heavily, eyes locked onto him, sensing the change.)

"This feeling… his presence… something's wrong."

A few steps away, collapsed on the ground, lay the Black Man.

His right hand clutched his left eye socket—now empty. His expression was unreadable, caught between horror and disbelief.

Two versions of Asahi. One who had fallen. One who had risen.

The Black Man:(whispering, voice weak, yet burning with rage)

"My… eye…!"

The tension shattered.

A sound. Soft at first. A chuckle.

Then, it grew.

Asahi: (slowly, coldly, rising to his feet.)

His laughter was quiet… at first. Then it grew.

 Louder.

 Louder.

 L O U D E R.

Until it wasn't laughter anymore. It was something else—something twisted, unhinged.

A madman's laugh.

FA:(coldly, staring at him in shock)"His face..."

FA's voice was steady, but inside, he was unraveling.

"He's changed."

Asahi stood tall now—his posture unbreakable, his aura suffocating. His left hand remained over his left eye, as if savoring the moment.

The Black Man:(gritting his teeth, barely able to lift his head)

"What… have you done…?"

 And then, slowly… he moved.

 Asahi uncovered his left eye.

A sickening pressure filled the air. The world itself seemed to tilt, bending under the weight of something far beyond human comprehension.

 FA's blood ran cold.

 The Black Man flinched.

And then—Asahi smiled.

Not a normal smile. Not a victorious smile.

A smile that could break minds.

A smile that could shatter fate itself.

A smile that shouldn't belong to any human.

Asahi:(coldly, voice like sharpened steel)

"YARE YARE…"

Silence.

For a moment, everything—the void, the dream, the nightmare itself—froze.

The silence was suffocating. Reality itself seemed to bend under the weight of what was about to happen.

FA stood frozen. His instincts screamed at him—this is wrong. This is so, so wrong.

And Asahi—stood between them. His presence—monstrous. His voice—inhuman.

And then, he whispered it.

Asahi:(low voice, coldly)"I found a way."

 FA:(eyes narrowing, heart pounding)"Huh?"

The Black Man:(weakly looking up at him, hope flickering in his dying eyes)

And then—Asahi's voice erupted.

Asahi:(shouting, voice vibrating through the void itself)

"I FOUND A WAY WHERE I CAN SAVE EVERY FUCKING ASAHI!"

The Black Man gasped. His breath hitched.

FA:(mind racing, fists clenching) …"Something feels wrong."

The Black Man:(eyes trembling, hope rising, whispering)"You… you mean it?"

Asahi's lips curled into a cold, terrifying smirk. His eyes gleamed like a god looking down at his worshippers.

 Asahi:(softly, almost like a whisper to himself)"What if…?"

 FA's breath caught.

Asahi:(his voice warping, growing louder, sharper, colder)

"WHAT IF I JUST KILL ALL THE ASAHIS WHO ARE SUFFERING?"

The Black Man's hope—shattered. His face twisted into horror.

The Black Man:(trembling, crawling back in fear)"N-No… wait—"

 FA's expression didn't change—but inside, something snapped.

Asahi continued, his voice growing colder, darker, more unhinged.

Asahi:(grinning, whispering like a madman, his hands trembling with excitement)

"Killing everyone… collecting their memories… collecting every bit of their life…"

FA didn't move. He just stared. This wasn't Asahi anymore.

The Black Man's breathing grew rapid. He tried to move, to escape, but Asahi was already stepping toward him.

Asahi:(coldly, his voice a twisted melody)

"And then… they all can live inside me."

 The Black Man's pupils shrank.

 Asahi stepped forward.

The Black Man crawled backward. His hands scraped against the ground, his breath ragged.

 Asahi:(coldly, teasing, amused)"Come on…"

The Black Man:(eyes wide, heart pounding, voice shaking)"Stay… stay away."

 Asahi stepped closer.

The Black Man:(shaking, gasping, pleading)"Stay the hell away from me—"

Asahi grabbed him by the throat.

The Black Man choked, eyes wide with shock.

 Asahi leaned in, voice ice-cold.

 Asahi:(whispering, a promise, a curse, a command)

"You don't need to suffer anymore."

The Black Man's body trembled violently.

Asahi:(grinning, voice turning sharp and commanding, growing louder)

"Your life… your power… your memories… IT'S ALL MINE NOW!"

 The Black Man stopped struggling.

Asahi:(eyes cold, smiling as if giving a gift)

"You're empty now."

The Black Man looked at him. His lips trembled. His eyes… softened.

 The Black Man smiled.

A real smile. A broken one. A grateful one.

The Black Man:(whispering, breathless, dying but smiling)

"You… you're going to suffer more than anyone…"

 Asahi stared.

The Black Man:(his smile growing, his last words barely a whisper)

"But… you're the only one who understands my pain."

 Asahi's expression didn't change.

A single tear rolled down his cheek.

FA saw it. And for the first time in forever, he felt something.

 Asahi smiled back.

Not a cold smile.

Not a madman's smile.

A warm one. A smile that guaranteed he would share his "blessings."

The Black Man's body dissolved. Slowly, piece by piece, he faded into dust.

His suffering ended—not by salvation, but by becoming one with Asahi.

His eyes remained closed. His face was at peace—for the first time in what felt like an eternity.

Asahi watched.

FA:(watching, mind whispering, voice unreadable but colder than ever)

"So you've chosen the most difficult way, huh?"

The Black Man's body dissolved. Slowly, piece by piece, he faded into dust.

His suffering ended—not by salvation, but by becoming one with Asahi.

His eyes remained closed. His face was at peace—for the first time in what felt like an eternity.

 Asahi watched.

For the first time, he didn't feel anger.

For the first time, he didn't feel victory.

For the first time, he felt loss.

A single tear ran down his face.

Asahi:(quietly, voice trembling but cold)

"I knew your pain… your suffering…"

But that pain could never be repaired.

He wiped his tears.

And then, slowly, he turned toward FA.

 FA was smiling.

Not a happy smile. Not a sad smile. Just… acceptance.

FA:(softly, shaking his head)"We have so much to suffer together, huh?"

Asahi didn't answer. He simply smiled back—not brightly. Not with hope. Just… acceptance.

FA:(gazing at the empty void ahead, voice cold, distant, tired)

"This madness never ends."

 Asahi:(a breath… a quiet chuckle… a sad truth)

"I know."

 FA's expression didn't change.

 FA:(quietly, almost to himself)

"If one Asahi dies, another comes."

FA:(voice growing colder, darker, more certain)

"If we kill that one too, another will come. If we kill that one too, another—"

 Asahi interrupted.

Asahi:(softly, darkly, completely accepting his fate)

"Asahi will come."

Asahi:(his voice colder, his resolve unshaken)

"I will kill that one too."

Asahi:(his hands clenching into fists, his heartbeat steady, his pain eternal)

"Another comes, I will kill that one too."

Asahi:(his fingers pointing at his own chest, his eyes dead, his soul burning)

"I will carry their pain in my heart."

 FA watched him.

"I'm just looking at my younger self breaking apart."

"A self who doesn't give up."

"A self who will never stop."

 FA smiled.

FA:(softly, knowingly, as if staring at infinity itself)

"We don't know how many Asahis are out there. How much suffering. How much pain…"

FA:(quietly, but with a hint of amusement)

"Asahi."

Asahi looked at him. Cold. Distant. Unbreakable.

 FA:(smirking, giving a small thumbs-up)

"Don't forget to share that pain, okay?"

Asahi's lips curled into a small smile.

 And then—

 FA GLITCHED.

His arm flickered—his leg distorted—his entire body cracked with unstable energy.

 Asahi's eyes widened.

 Asahi:(coldly but sharply)"Hey. What's happening?"

FA's body twitched violently. His hands shook. Then—the glitches stopped.

 And FA… looked up.

☠ FA's eyes were wide.

 Tears rolled down his cheeks.

 Tears of happiness.

 Asahi just stared.

FA:(voice soft, filled with something Asahi had never heard before—hope.)

"Finally."

 Asahi:(tense, confused, stepping forward slightly)

"What?"

FA wiped his eyes, but his smile never faded.

FA:(calmly, yet hiding something deep within him)

"Nothing."

FA smiled, but it was different.

 He was hiding something.

Asahi stared at him.Something was wrong. Something was deeply, deeply wrong.

Asahi:(his voice steady, but something in his heart uneasy)

"…Fine."

 FA chuckled.

FA:(softly, voice filled with something unreadable)

"So… loop you?"

 Asahi nodded.

 Asahi:(coldly, but almost… relieved)

"Loop me."

 FA's voice dropped.

FA:(calmly, yet knowingly, like a god looking at the stars)

"This will be your 101st loop."

 Asahi's eyes widened.

 101.

 Not 100. Not 99. Not 50.

 101.

Asahi:(a slow realization, breath catching in his throat)"How… how can you say that so easily?"

 FA smirked.

FA:(grinning, voice filled with quiet suffering)

"Because I've adapted more times than you."

 Asahi inhaled sharply.

FA's words hit harder than any blade.

FA had adapted more than 101 times.

How many times had he looped? How many versions of himself had he buried? How long had he been suffering?

 And yet, FA smiled.

 Asahi exhaled. He believed FA.

 He fully believed him.

 FA closed his eyes.

FA:(calmly, to himself, thinking about the endless future ahead)

"We don't know when the next Asahi will attack us…"

FA:(glancing at Asahi, voice growing softer, deeper, something unreadable in his tone)

"But still."

 FA smiled.

FA:(calmly, almost proudly, like a parent watching a child walk toward his own destruction)

"I know you can save everyone."

 FA closed his eyes.

The void shifted. The loop restarted.

 Asahi inhaled.

Asahi:(softly, voice filled with something neither hope nor despair, but something in between)

"Thank you, FA."

 FA didn't answer.

 He just smiled.

 And then Asahi's head burned.

 Pain.

But… he was used to it.
