Chapter 19 - A new piece for the collection

Luther made his way to the location Claus texted. He wasn't exactly prepared, especially since what happened with Killian earlier, but he was a man who valued his word deeply.

"Claus is different from Killian anyway" thought Luther self-assured," he would be more gentle and soft, not devouring me like a wild animal".

That being said, the location sent by Claus was the opposite of the nice warm guy he was expecting to see. A mostly abandoned hotel in a bad part of the town. Luther looked skeptical at the overall image of the building: bricks threatening to fall from the exterior wall, green mold everywhere, sewage smell that overpowered the smell of poverty of the area.

He already texted Claus an image of the establishment and he confirmed the location. For Luther, this day was weird enough as it was so he just entered the lobby waiting for it to be all over.

A tall scrawny guy waved at him. He seemed to be in charge of the luggage. Luther closed the distance between them.

-Good evening, said the stranger.

-Hi, said Luther in a delicate tonality.

-You're expected for room 45, sir. Here's the room key. The room doors close automatically behind you so be sure to not lose your key. I apologize for the security measures. The neighborhood is not that great.

Luther smiled and nodded. He got out of his pocket a 20-dollar bill and gave it to the boy. He looked at him hurt, but accepted the money and thanked him.

Luther made his way in the wallpaper-peeling hallway towards the room. He found it peculiar that Claus didn't wait in front of the hotel for him, but he brushed it off quickly.

"Maybe he needs time to prepare the drug"

Luther entered the room. The door shut automatically behind him with a loud noise. There was no source of light in the room except the slight glow of the outside street lamp. A large figure was standing next to the window with his back turned to Luther, looking down.

"Has Claus always been this tall?"

Luther took a step back and fondled his key back into the key lock. The atmosphere was too creepy and something was definitely wrong.

Before succeeding in unlocking the door, the figure shifted behind him. He was close. So close, that he was squeezing the omega between him and the door mercilessly. Luther sensed danger. Did he mistake the room? Why was this stranger so unstable? Was he an alpha? Was he in his rut?

"No", Luther calmed himself "I can't sense pheromones. I'm ok, I'm ok" he tried controlling his quickened breath." If he will do something, I'll just release my pheromones and run"

-I've expected the Willers heir to have better manners, groaned a deep masculine voice.

-I'm not used to strangers squeezing me against the door, scoffed Luther trying to keep his composure.

The large figure behind him shaken with a dry laughter. It stopped suddenly before starting to move his hands on Luther's body. He slithered his large fingers under the trapped man's shirt, forcing a few buttons to fly out to allow him. With one hand he squeezed Luther's waist while the other roughly caressed his nipples in a rough circular motion.

-I'm poisonous, said Luther struggling to free himself, if you don't release me, I'll put you in the hospital!

The stranger stopped for a second then clutched Luther in a hug while letting his head rest on the nape of the omega's neck. He disdained the threat with a deep exhale.

-Do you actually just rely on that? I gotta admit I'm disappointed. Claus promised a feisty one, yet you are so boring.

-W-What?

-Oh, you're slow too? So you're lucky you're a looker, mumbled the stranger to himself. What a weedly way to live your life.

"Claus sent this man. This was revenge" thought Luther.

He quickly let out his pheromones. The strong wave could instantly kill any alpha close to him. Luther was shifting into survival mode and he didn't want to take any chances.

Yet the man was still pressing him against the door with a bored attitude. He inhaled deeply.

-You smell limey, said delighted the stranger.

Luther trembled in horror. Why wasn't it working? Was this because of what happened with Killian earlier? Did he become a weed?

The stranger noticed the shiver down the spine Luther was experiencing. He traced his finger on the same route thoughtfully.

-Scared and out of options? Ah, that is exactly how poisonous flowers are. Seems like you, belladonna, are no exception. My fault for expecting more.

-Who are you?

-A little late for the introduction, don't you think?

-Look, I don't know what Claus paid you, but I can triple it.

-Oh, shoving Daddy's money down my throat already? How cute. One problem with that my little omega- Claus didn't pay me shit, I'm the one paying Claus.

-What?

-Oh please, don't tell me you actually bought his " I worked hard and now I'm a CEO" bullshit. I gave Claus money. I gave Claus power. I gave Claus Greenleaf. And I got you in return. A bit pricey for what I have in front of me sadly.

-Why me? said dryly Luther.

-I have this hobby. I like poisonous flowers. They remind me of my childhood. So I have a connection. I like to make the flower on their stomach bloom and then skin it and display it as my art. I also keep a bit of their pheromones on the piece. I'm such an emotional guy, I know, I know, but what can you do? chuckled the stranger. I've never had a belladonna before.

-I'm not a belladonna.

-We have all the time in the world to see. After all, it takes weeks until I get a flower to bloom the way I want it. We have time to discover each other. I'll make sure you'll be living your last moments arching your back and begging for more.
