Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: Behemoth vs Dragon King

The two sides exchanged bullet-shaped glares for what felt like an eternity.Their eyes seemed ready to swallow each other whole.

Behemoth's growls rumbled through the air, smoke pouring steadily from its nose like a direct challenge.

Not far behind, the Dragon King exhaled heavy breaths, drool dripping from its jaws, radiating the same brutal intent.

They just stared, each sizing up the other.

Meanwhile, the battlefield had devolved into total chaos. Screams, thunder, and crashing waves filled the air, layering dread over the land.

Ziz and Leviathan were in their element—ripping through dragons with ferocious joy. They rampaged from sky to sea in perfect coordination, surrounding and annihilating their prey without mercy.

Leviathan dove deep, its body sheathed in violent currents as it began to spin rapidly. The water twisted into a whirlpool, hidden beneath the surface.

Above, the dragons remained unaware—roaring challenges, blind to the trap already closing in.

In a heartbeat, Leviathan launched the whirlpool skyward. A column of spiraling water as vast as a mountain erupted, divine in its violence.

Dragons caught off guard were torn apart instantly. Others soared upward to escape—only to find Leviathan wasn't done.

From the center of the vortex, it activated its full thrusters, pulling every water source upward. The whirlpool stretched into the sky, forming a massive water tornado like a sea serpent devouring all in its path.

Not to be outdone, Ziz launched into action.

Spinning at supersonic speed, it whipped up a massive storm, then unleashed waves of electricity, turning it into a thundering tempest. It tore through the sky, dragging dragons into its storm, shredding them with wind blades and scorching them to ash with lightning.

The battlefield had become their playground—whirlpools and storms sweeping endlessly as the two ancient beasts hunted.

Listen closely, and you could hear their roars—not of rage, but exhilaration.

"Ziz and Leviathan are rapidly reducing the dragon population," the system reported.

"I understand," the King replied.

"But, Your Majesty, their methods could affect their energy output—"

"It's fine," the King cut in. "Let them enjoy this. This may be their first—and last—time to act freely. What matters now is destroying them so we can face the one guarding the core."

"Understood."

The King turned his gaze back to his opponent—the so-called Dragon King—who met his stare with the same cold precision.

"How long are you going to stand there?" the King muttered. "Strange patience for a killer. Buying time?"

The Dragon King didn't react. It just stared, unwavering, as if programmed to do nothing else.

The King narrowed his eyes.

"If you're going to hesitate, you insult the title of Dragon King. Let me show you what a real warrior looks like. Behemoth—attack mode!"

Behemoth roared. Its core trembled as gears collided, steam blasting outward.Armor panels on its hips slid aside, revealing rotating mechanisms lifting its body upward.

Its front legs split, transforming into armored arms. From within, two colossal fists emerged.

Everything went smoothly.

But the Dragon King wouldn't wait.

It roared and dropped into a crouch, wings flaring wide as its legs launched it forward—plowing through ocean and ally alike.

Its only instinct now: destroy Behemoth, no matter the cost.

But it wasn't alone.

Ziz and Leviathan surged in.

Tornado and whirlpool slammed into the Dragon King, detonating on impact. The blast hurled both attackers away, dented but intact.

The Dragon King fared worse. Even its formidable body couldn't withstand such force.

It skidded to a halt, body torn and leaking pitch-black blood—but it didn't stop. It gathered momentum again.

Until a giant fist crashed down on its skull, slamming it into the ground.

It roared in pain, eyes snapping upward—before it stood the transformed Behemoth, now resembling a mechanical Minotaur radiating raw power.

Enraged, the Dragon King whipped its tail—but Behemoth caught it with ease.

With a spin, it swung the Dragon King's massive body like a flail until the tail tore free. The King's body flew toward the mountains.

Behemoth looked at the tail for a moment, then tossed it aside in contempt.

The Dragon King rose again, flaming fists clenched, and charged.

"Too slow!" the King shouted.

Behemoth mirrored the stance.

One leg braced, one fist cocked. A glowing force field enveloped it. A jet thruster behind its elbow ignited.

They punched at the same time.

Behemoth's jet-powered fist met the Dragon King's flame-fueled strike. The impact birthed a cataclysmic shockwave—cracking the ground, burning the air, releasing a storm of black fire.

The King stood behind Behemoth's shield, still shaken by the impact.

The shockwave reached even distant kingdoms.

Buildings trembled. Leaders on crumbling walls whispered in fear:

"Is this... their power?"

"Stronger than we ever imagined. Thank the gods the King evacuated the people…"

"I hope the gods will protect you."

Back at the battlefield, only ruins remained.

Ziz and Leviathan, regaining their balance, turned toward the epicenter—where fire and dragon corpses littered the broken landscape.

The Dragon King's arm had exploded from the impact.

Behemoth didn't waste time. Its remaining arm drove into the Dragon King's skull, sending it crashing down.

Then came the barrage.

One jet-powered punch after another, each shattering land and sea alike.Black blood coated Behemoth's fists.

The Dragon King, desperate, raised an arm—but Behemoth seized it, pinned it down, and tore it off with brutal precision.

It stared at the severed limb before flinging it aside.

Now the Dragon King was little more than twitching, broken flesh—screaming silently.

"How's it feel, you bastard?!" the King laughed.

"Behemoth—now!"

Behemoth activated a gravity field across its body and released it in a crushing wave, pinning the Dragon King in place.

The beast tried to charge a massive energy blast, but Behemoth's fist came down again and again—shattering its jaw, rupturing the charge inside.

Now the Dragon King was nothing more than a toy, broken and discarded.

"No more games," the King said coldly. "Finish it, Behemoth. Let him rest."

Behemoth obeyed.

It leapt back, raised both arms, and clenched its fists as a dense gravity field formed.

Then, like a god delivering judgment, it brought them down in a final, apocalyptic blow.

Time seemed to freeze.

The Dragon King's memories flickered in the King's mind—what some would call a soul's final moment.

"Rest in peace," the King whispered.

The fists landed, unleashing a final shockwave that annihilated the Dragon King—flesh, fire, and bone reduced to scattered fragments. Blood rained over Behemoth like a macabre crown.

Behemoth roared in triumph.

Ziz and Leviathan returned, and the three titans stood together, turning toward the last battlefield.

The core awaited.

All three roared, ready for the next command.

The King exhaled. "Alright. Unleash everything you've got."
