The pair of round hazel eyes gleamed with expectation.
"There's no need for you to come here," Sylas responded— his voice chilling.
The smile on Violet's face froze, and she looked at him in daze.
She took a step forward and voiced out, "Alpha, do you want to take a bite and—"
Before Violet was able to continue, Sylas raised his hand, and the next instant the plate of cake flew away from her hand, smashing against the floor.
Violet's gaze followed the trajectory of the cake. Something within her cracked, just like that plate on the floor.
She worked hard to bring a pretty slice to Sylas and now it got damaged.
Then, when Violet looked towards Sylas, she saw the annoyance in his eyes for a second before he covered it up under his usual gentle smile.
He then politely said, "Can you please clean that up? I will go into my room if there's anything else. And from next time onwards, do not bother me about such trivial things. I tend to be busy."
