Mathew smiled at the receptionist politely and greeted, "Hello, I am here to visit a friend, Violet Blackwood. May I know which room she is in?"
"Violet Blackwood," the receptionist enunciated, "let me check."
"Alright, thank you. I have been worried sick about her and couldn't contact her. Then, I learned she was admitted here due to serious illness," Mathew informed— his voice tinged with hint of sadness.
Violet watched sneakily from behind the wall as Mathew had the conversation with the receptionist. The receptionist then pointed towards the direction of her room.
Violet was about to call Lucas and the rest to inform when she realized that she kept her phone inside the room. Cursing mentally, Violet knew she had to get out from here.
"Anna, you go back to your room. You can't let him be aware you know me, alright?" Violet voiced out. Even if she got caught, she couldn't let Anna be implicated.
