He had not even been born back then, so why was Caliste asking questions about it and being so invested in everything surrounding it?
Those were questions that always circulated in the back of Fleur's mind. But she had never gotten the guts to ask them. After all, she was almost sure that Caliste would simply dodge the question and never answer it.
"Yes, the past. Within your group of heretics, do you have any information on what went down?"
The guy frowned even more. "Ugh… I only know that we made peace with humanity for a strange reason. It was very strange since we had just killed their strongest asset. The Demon King should have continued the conquest of the world after that."
Caliste had a small reaction when he mentioned the "strongest asset," since the man was talking about himself.
Still, it seemed like he would not get any information from this man.
