Episode 20: "Redemption"

Genre: Investigation | Thriller | Justice

Location: Mumbai – Police Headquarters, Government Offices

---

Opening Scene: The Investigation Begins

Time: 8:00 AM

Location: Mumbai Police Headquarters

After the chaos of the previous episode, the government is in turmoil.

The public is divided—some see Black Squad as heroes, others as criminals.

The police force is in crisis—corrupt officers are being arrested, but many still oppose Black Squad.

Amid this, DCP Shamsher Singh and SSP Ishan are ordered to investigate Black Squad's so-called crimes.

If they find proof that ACP Sulaiman Qazi and his team acted lawfully, they can be reinstated.

If they fail, Black Squad remains fugitives forever.

---

Scene 2: The Search for Truth

Shamsher Singh and Ishan begin their investigation at the crime scenes:

1. Bandra Warehouse Explosion (Episode 18 Incident)

Forensics reveal that Black Squad didn't plant the bomb.

Security footage shows Kapoor's men setting up explosives.

Conclusion: The explosion was a setup to frame Black Squad.

2. The Trident Hotel Massacre (Episode 19 Incident)

Ballistics prove that most of the dead were corrupt officers.

Mehta's private files show his involvement in a criminal syndicate.

Conclusion: Black Squad took down a network of corrupt police officials.

3. The Stolen Data Leak

The government tried covering up Black Squad's findings.

The documents leaked by Imran Wani were real and exposed deep-rooted corruption.

Conclusion: Black Squad acted in the public's interest.

SSP Ishan looks at the evidence and sighs.

SSP Ishan:

"We've been fighting the wrong enemy all along."

DCP Shamsher Singh nods grimly.

DCP Shamsher:

"It's time to fix this mess."

---

Scene 3: Confronting the High Command

Shamsher and Ishan take the evidence to the Home Ministry.

The Minister of Home Affairs is furious.

Government officials don't want to admit their mistake.

Minister (angrily):

"You expect us to reinstate criminals?"

Shamsher Singh (firmly):

"They're not criminals. They were framed by your own men."

SSP Ishan (placing the evidence on the table):

"This is proof that Mehta and Kapoor were running a criminal empire. Black Squad stopped them. And you called them terrorists."

The Minister hesitates.

If they clear Black Squad's name, the government looks weak.

If they don't, they risk a police rebellion.

After a long silence, the Minister sighs.

Minister:

"Fine. But we do this quietly. No press, no drama. Black Squad is reinstated immediately."

---

Scene 4: Reinstating Black Squad

Time: 6:00 PM

Location: A Secret Safe House

ACP Sulaiman Qazi, Imran Wani, and Arjun Rathore are in hiding.

They know their time is running out.

If Shamsher and Ishan fail, they will never be free again.

Suddenly, a convoy of police vehicles arrives.

Black Squad prepares for a last stand…

…but instead, DCP Shamsher Singh steps out, holding an official document.

Shamsher Singh (smiling slightly):

"Congratulations, gentlemen. You're back."

ACP Qazi (narrowing his eyes):

"And if we refuse?"

SSP Ishan (grinning):

"Then I hope you enjoy life in hiding. Because Mumbai needs you."

ACP Qazi takes the document.

It reads:

"Black Squad is hereby reinstated as an official investigative unit under the Government of India."

---

Final Scene: The Return of Black Squad

Time: 8:00 PM

Location: Black Squad Headquarters

The old Black Squad HQ is reopened.

Officers who once doubted them stand at attention.

A new mission file is placed on their table.

ACP Qazi looks at his team.

ACP Qazi:

"Looks like our job isn't over."

Imran (smirking):

"It never was."

Arjun (loading his gun):

As the camera zooms out, Mumbai's skyline glows in the background.
