"Don't worry. It's an ability of mine," she said, calm like this was normal.
"What the hell did—?" I started yelling, but then it hit me.

"What…?" I muttered, blinking down at myself. I was sitting upright.
I hadn't even realized it.
"What's happening?" I asked, my voice quiet now.
"Well… think of it as me sharing my ability to function with you," she said. "But don't go too far from me. Unless..."

But I'd already caught her drift.
She's trying to make me dependent on her.
