Kenta stood in the center of the training ground, his sharp eyes locked onto Sayaka. The moment their duel began, he launched forward, his speed blurring as he closed the distance between them in an instant.
Kenta felt a surge of exhilaration as he pushed off the ground, using a precise burst of chakra to propel himself forward.
It was a technique he had been taught—one used by samurai in their early chakra training—but he had never imagined integrating it into his martial arts. Yet, as he fought Sayaka, he realized how seamlessly it fit.
His movements became sharper, more explosive. Instead of relying solely on muscle memory and technique, he now had a new dimension to work with. He could dash in unpredictable angles, extend the force behind his strikes, and recover faster from dodges. His body was finally moving beyond human limits, something he had only dreamed of in his previous life.
This technique was used mostly by Samurai and it was also the starting point for Flash step. The Body Flicker equivalent for Samurais. Even Body Flicker jutsu was based on this technique so Kenta was one step closer to having shinobi level speed.
'This is incredible!' Kenta thought, his heart pounding with excitement. 'In my previous life, I spent years perfecting my movements, training every muscle to respond with precision. But this… this is on a whole different level!' He had always believed that martial arts had a ceiling—human limitations that even the most skilled fighters could never break. But now, with chakra, that ceiling had shattered. His punches carried more momentum, his dodges became instantaneous, and his footwork had transformed into something entirely new. It was like discovering a hidden technique after years of training, a secret weapon that had been waiting for him all along.
'And I am still a child. What would happen when I grow up and have a full grown up body? What would happen when my strength, endurance and agility increases even further? Ah....the possibilities are already making me wet! ....Agh...My silly mind!' Kenta thought embarassedly
The more he used chakra, the more his confidence grew. He had only just started incorporating chakra into his movements, yet the results were already astounding.
The mere thought of refining this technique further sent a thrill through him. 'If this is what I can do now, what about when I master body flicker? Or chakra reinforcement?' The possibilities stretched before him like an endless horizon. For the first time, he wasn't just recreating his old martial arts—he was evolving them.
Sayaka barely had time to react before Kenta's first strike came at her like a predator hunting its prey.
He opened with an Eagle Claw technique, his fingers forming a claw-like grip as he aimed to seize Sayaka's wrist. She instinctively tried to pull away, but Kenta's grip was too strong. With a sudden yank, he pulled her forward, twisting his body to deliver a precise Rabbit Punch to her ribs. Sayaka gasped as the compact strike forced the air from her lungs.
Not relenting for even a second, Kenta shifted his stance, his hands moving in rapid, precise motions. His fists struck out in a blur—a Wing Chun double punch. Two quick, successive blows landed on Sayaka's shoulders before she could even think of countering. The force behind them made her stagger back, barely managing to keep her balance.
Kenta's relentless offensive continued. He lifted his leg for a Side Kick, his foot slamming into Sayaka's forearm as she barely managed to block. The impact sent her skidding backward. Before she could recover, he spun, executing a perfectly timed Roundhouse Kick. The attack whizzed toward her head, and Sayaka had no choice but to duck at the last second.
Sayaka gritted her teeth. She had expected Kenta to be formidable, but this was something else entirely. His movements weren't just fast—they were unpredictable. Unlike traditional taijutsu, which followed certain principles and styles, Kenta's attacks seemed to come from nowhere, flowing like water between different martial arts techniques.
She tried to retaliate, lashing out with a palm strike aimed at Kenta's chest. But he countered effortlessly, twisting his body to the side and deflecting her attack with his forearm. He smiled as if enjoying the fight. When she attempted a spinning backfist, he simply leaned back to evade and delivered a light tap to her forehead with his knuckles—mocking yet precise.
Sayaka's mind raced. 'What the hell is this fighting style? It made no sense. It is as of he is not bound by any single form or technique. It was as if he fights purely on instinct, adapting in real time. And yet, despite how unpredictable it seems, every move of his is deliberate and effective. He fights like a seasoned taijutsu elite, not someone our age. Someone younger than me.'
'Master Gorou was right. Young Master is a prodigy in Taijutsu. It's not just his technique. He counters all of my moves as if he knows what I am about to do next. It's as if he can predict my body movements. It's just like Shari.....' A thought appeared on her face as she looked at Kenta's eyes to check for something.
'Nope, He does not have a sharingan. Just had to check for myself to believ.....' A punch from kenta to her gut interrupted her thoughts.
Sayaka clenched her fists as she looked at the smile of pure joy on Kenta's face.
'I take my words back of him being cute. This boy is a monster in a cute kid's body!'
She did not know how right she was.
'I can't beat him in taijutsu. If I keep trying, he'll just toy with me the entire fight.'
Sayaka took a deep breath, her chakra flaring. If taijutsu wasn't working, then she had to rely on her real strength—ninjutsu. She quickly reached into the pouch at her waist and pulled out several pieces of paper, throwing them toward Kenta.
Kenta's eyes flickered to the fluttering sheets, his mind instantly on high alert. He had no idea what she was planning, but he wasn't going to take any chances. Just as he was about to leap back, Sayaka's hands came together in a flash, forming a single hand sign.
"Paper Style: Paper Shuriken!"
The harmless-looking paper suddenly transformed midair, their edges sharpening into deadly weapons. Kenta's eyes widened in surprise. 'This… this is just like Konan's jutsu!'
The shuriken-like paper projectiles zipped toward him, their razor-sharp edges glinting under the sunlight. Kenta reacted instinctively, drawing a kunai in one smooth motion. With expert precision, he deflected the first set of paper shuriken. But more paper shuriken kept coming his way.
He spun his body, slicing through the incoming barrage, his excitement growing with each deflection. 'This is amazing!' he thought. 'I never expected to see a paper jutsu like this outside of what Konan used in the anime.'
Kenta couldn't help but grin. This fight had just gotten a whole lot more interesting.
The paper barrage forced him back, and Sayaka took the opportunity to reassess the situation. She had finally managed to put him on the defensive. But would it be enough?
Well, Y'all would have to wait for the outcome as Kenta stopped the spar
"Wait, I think this is enough." Kenta said stopping Sayaka who was making hand signs for another jutsu.
