Tang San frowned as he watched the hellish scene before him, but he remained unmoved. Four years of relentless killing had hardened his heart like steel.

However, the actions of the spectators made even Tang San feel nauseated. Not only did they claw at their own flesh until it was torn open, but they also ripped open their chests, pulling out their organs and tearing them apart with their bare hands.

"To serve as a sacrifice for the opening of the Path of Hell, you should feel honored.

Thousand-Armed Asura, I wish you good luck. I hope you survive the Path of Hell and meet your elders. If possible, give them my regards."

The chilling voice of the King of Slaughter echoed once more. At this moment, Tang San noticed that all the blood on the ground had gathered into one spot, eventually forming an eerie bat-shaped pattern.

Before Tang San could react, he felt his body grow light, and in the blink of an eye, he vanished from the spot.

From the shadows, Tang Hao silently observed this scene.

"Finally, it has come to this, Little San."

Tang Hao no longer lingered here and returned to reunite with his older brother, Tang Xiao.

Though Tang Hao had confidence in Tang San's ability to navigate the Path of Hell, he couldn't help but feel anxious. He and Tang Xiao waited anxiously at the exit of the Path of Hell.

"Hao Di, there's no need to be so worried. Trust that Little San will be fine—he has the blessings of heaven."

"That child is no less capable than I was back then. He'll be fine," Tang Hao muttered, trying to reassure himself.

What they didn't know, however, was that someone else had already set their sights on this place.

"Master, the perimeter defenses have been fully arranged."

Ye Wen nodded slightly and gestured for the subordinate to leave.

Things had finally reached this stage. Unfortunately for Tang San, Ye Wen had already gained a significant head start. Even if Tang San achieved godhood, it would be too late to change anything.

The self-proclaimed clever and secretive "Hao Tian Twin Stars" (Tang Hao and Tang Xiao) were unaware that their movements had long been exposed.

After all, over the years, the outskirts of the City of Slaughter had been meticulously shaped into the form desired by the Spirit Hall. Any outsider who entered would inevitably leave traces.

Thus, the moment Tang Hao and the others arrived, Ye Wen had already received the news.

Although Tang San in this world lacked the Snow Swan Kiss, which could have instantly poisoned the fallen soul masters of the City of Slaughter, Ye Wen was still curious about whether the materials he had provided to Tang San would be enough to destroy the City of Slaughter.

Today would be the day to witness history.

Suddenly, Ye Wen sensed something and glanced toward Tang Hao's direction.

"The aura of a god… similar to Tang Hao's God of Slaughter domain. So this is the aura of the Asura God?"

Having narrowly survived countless perils, Tang San finally emerged into the sunlight, which momentarily blinded him.

"Little San—!"

This heartfelt call brought tears to Tang San's eyes, and he instinctively shouted,

"Dad—!"

"Little San—!"

"Dad—!"

*Hmm… Is this going to go on forever?* Ye Wen thought with exasperation from the shadows.

Fortunately, they didn't continue their overly sentimental exchange for long. After briefly discussing recent events, they set off together toward the Star Luo Imperial City.

With such a major incident occurring in the Tian Dou Empire, Tang Yuehua naturally couldn't remain in the Tian Dou Imperial City.

However, since Ye Wen had never included the weaklings of Yue Xuan under his jurisdiction, Tang Yuehua had managed to escape back to the Star Luo side shortly after the Six Directions Seal Absolute was lifted.

Once Ye Wen confirmed that Tang San and the others had left, he turned his attention back to the City of Slaughter.

Ye Wen waited patiently, but the City of Slaughter showed no signs of change, causing him to doubt. Could it be that Tang San hadn't intended to destroy the City of Slaughter this time?

That shouldn't be possible! Given Tang San's personality, how could he let such an opportunity to increase his power slip away?

Ye Wen pondered further. Although Tang San's hidden weapons were incredibly powerful, his era lacked the means for remote control. This likely meant he had set up a timed mechanism as a contingency plan.

Time was something Ye Wen had plenty of. Either way, it was just a matter of waiting—who would tire first?

*Ka—!*

Suddenly, a strange sound rang out. Ye Wen turned his gaze toward the mountain peak above the City of Slaughter.

What had once been an immovable, rock-solid mountain was now covered in dense cracks.

"What astonishing power. I wonder how many Buddha's Wrath Tang Lian Tang San used."

Ye Wen marveled at the sight. In an era where even gods couldn't pierce through walls, Tang San—a mere Soul Emperor—had managed to unleash such devastating destruction.

If not for the sturdy mountain blocking the blast, the range of destruction would have extended several kilometers further.

Ye Wen grew even more curious about the strength of the top sects in Tang San's original world. If a minor sect like the Tang Sect, which specialized in hidden weapons, could possess such power, what about the other sects? They must be truly extraordinary.

Thinking further about the stories Tang San had told about immortals, Ye Wen speculated: Was Tang San's original world perhaps an evolution of the primordial chaos or the *Journey to the West* universe? Such abilities clearly didn't belong to a low-magic or low-martial world.

Terrifying indeed. Best not to provoke such power.

But now it was time to get down to business.

A faint smile appeared on Ye Wen's lips as he picked up the communication soul-guided device.

"Begin."

Four massive columns of soul power shot into the sky once again.

"Barrier Technique—Six Directions Seal Absolute!!!!"

"The preparations are complete. The rest is up to you, Qian Qian," Ye Wen said calmly.

"Yes, Master."

Unbeknownst to him, Qian Qian had already appeared behind Ye Wen. She was currently undergoing the eighth trial of the Angel God Examination. Once she completed this trial, all that remained was to inherit the god position to become the next Angel God.

This was also the result of Ye Wen's covert manipulation. After all, the one overseeing the Angel God Examination was Poseidon, the Sea God backing Ye Wen.

Modifying the content of the god examination wasn't difficult, as long as it didn't violate the rules of the god realm.

This operation also served as an opportunity to settle old and new grudges between the Asura and Angel gods.

At this moment, another violent tremor shook the ground. The mountain above the City of Slaughter completely collapsed, sending up clouds of dust.

Seeing this, Ye Wen's lips twitched slightly.

"Tang San really doesn't hold back. A segmented attack? He must be worried that a single strike wouldn't be enough to wipe out everyone in the City of Slaughter.

But I wonder what expression Tang San would make if he knew that his actions killed his own great-grandfather? How amusing."

Truly worthy of being a filial descendant of the Hao Tian Sect. When it came to betraying elders, they never disappointed.

Now this was the ultimate act of filial piety—sending one's great-grandfather to the afterlife with a heartfelt gift.

But—

As much as Ye Wen joked, he didn't believe that the Buddha's Wrath Tang Lian alone could kill Tang Chen, who was on the verge of godhood.

A terrifying surge of soul power erupted. A single attack from beneath the City of Slaughter pierced straight through the collapsed mountain above.

"Ahhhh!"
