---------------------------------------------------------------------

At the Asura God's current level, the distinction between humans and soul beasts had long lost its meaning. If he wished, the Asura God could even transform into a soul beast himself.

Moreover, not all of the five God Kings in the divine realm were human. For example, the God Kings of Life and Destruction were unique lifeforms that had taken on physical forms.

Thus, the concerns of the Silver Dragon King, who was hiding on the Douluo Continent to recover, meant nothing to the Asura God.

The gods suppressed soul beasts not out of fear of their resurgence but to prevent the old rulers from regaining power. The strongest forces of the dragon race now consisted only of the Silver Dragon King, while the Golden Dragon King remained sealed away—hardly a threat.

Even if the Silver Dragon King were to fully recover, what of it? The five God Kings were no pushovers.

Rather than risk unknown consequences by killing the Silver Dragon King, it was better to keep him locked up on Douluo Planet like a prisoner.

After all, the act of splitting the Dragon God into two separate beings—the Golden Dragon King and Silver Dragon King—was already an extraordinary feat in the eyes of the gods of the Douluo divine realm. Who knew if killing one might lead to more dragons emerging? Thus, the Golden Dragon King was also merely sealed in the divine realm instead of being outright killed.

Besides, the Silver Dragon King was just a name with no real substance. A God King worrying about racial distinctions was hardly someone capable of achieving great things.

However, due to Di Tian's interference, there were no top-tier female soul beasts on the Douluo Continent.

Even the few that existed didn't catch the Asura God's eye.

Frustrated, the Asura God settled on a mutated Thunderclap Nether Vine that had been altered by absorbing the blood of a fallen Thunder God. He manipulated the weather to accelerate its growth.

The Thunderclap Nether Vine's innate trait allowed it to rapidly increase its cultivation by absorbing lightning. However, if its body couldn't handle the energy, it would explode.

Furthermore, during its later stages of growth, it would form a deadly Thunder Pool, making it impossible for any Thunderclap Nether Vine to reach the 100,000-year mark required for transformation.

But under the Asura God's covert protection with divine power, these issues were no longer a concern. Greedily, he pushed the vine's cultivation to an astonishing 200,000 years of energy.

Only then did the Asura God subtly influence its consciousness, guiding it to take humanoid form.

This was Ah Yu.

Through a series of covert manipulations, Ah Yu eventually ended up with Tang Hao.

The Asura God was quite satisfied with this outcome.

Though Ah Yu was pursued by the Spirit Hall due to her immaturity, the Asura God paid it no mind.

If his divine seat candidate couldn't even handle such trivial trouble, he might as well choose someone else.

However, as he observed the people of the Spirit Hall, the Asura God's gaze darkened.

"That foolish Angel woman's legacy still persists on Douluo?

Hmph.

It's surprisingly enduring.

I didn't expect that foolish woman to be so formidable. Even after I defeated her so thoroughly, she still managed to entrust her divine core to that little thing, Poseidon.

This is troublesome."

The Asura God began to contemplate deeply within his shrine.

Though life in the divine realm was incredibly dull—with gods rarely interacting, sometimes going years without communication—Poseidon was unexpectedly sociable. His relationships with other gods were excellent, and he was highly trustworthy.

That was why the Angel God had entrusted her divine inheritance to Poseidon for safekeeping.

Unfortunately, fate intervened. In order to free himself, Poseidon teamed up with the Asura God to betray the Angel God—a betrayal of epic proportions.

One could only say that whether human or god, trust was always a Schrödinger's cat.

And so, an era named after Tang San began—ahem—

Back to the topic at hand.

In the following days, which corresponded to several years on the Douluo Continent, Tang Hao lived up to the Asura God's expectations, displaying remarkable bravery.

"Though he may not compare to Tang Chen, he's still not bad.

Go ahead, little one. Don't disappoint me."

With a smile, the Asura God placed Tang San's soul into Ah Yu's womb, replacing the original soul she was carrying with Tang San's.

As for the displaced newborn soul, the Asura God paid it no heed.

Countless lives had perished under his hand—death itself was his namesake.

But the Asura God's satisfaction didn't last long.

"What the hell!? Damn useless fool!" The Asura God hurled the fine wine in his hand to the ground, cursing loudly.

When Tang San was born, Tang Hao had carelessly exposed Ah Yu's presence during childbirth.

Overconfident, Tang Hao confronted Qian Xunji and the two Title Douluos, Ju and Gui.

Though Tang Hao emerged victorious, it was a pyrrhic victory. If the Asura God hadn't been covertly using divine power to protect Tang San's fragile newborn body throughout the intense battle, the child would have surely perished.

Though the Asura God had been extremely cautious, prolonged actions would inevitably draw attention.

Faced with the scrutinizing gazes of the other God Kings, the Asura God couldn't continue interfering covertly. Though he had reached a level where he could transcend his divine seat, the other four veteran God Kings were no simpletons. If not for their unique divine positions, they would have long passed them on and enjoyed freedom.

When questioned by the other God Kings, the Asura God used Tang Hao's status as a divine seat candidate to deflect suspicion. Fortunately, this aligned with the divine realm's rules, and the matter was temporarily resolved.

However, further observations left the Asura God seething with anger.

"He's just a child! He's just a child! How could you treat him like this?! Are you even human?! Even I, the Asura God, wouldn't stoop so low—I'd just give him a clean death. Why are you torturing him like this?!"

In just a few days of neglect, that brute Tang Hao dared to feed scalding porridge to a newborn infant, causing blisters to form. Were you blind?!

The Asura God even began to doubt whether he had made the Hell Road too lenient when designing it—how had this bizarre individual managed to pass through it?

Watching his painstakingly assembled genius—a dual martial soul with full innate soul power—be reduced by several levels of innate soul power in just a few short years under Tang Hao's care, the Asura God felt a pang of frustration.

But during this critical period, he couldn't intervene directly. All he could do was grit his teeth and watch helplessly.

Thankfully, Tang San proved resilient. Not being a native of this world, he relied on the cultivation techniques of his original world—techniques even the Asura God admired—to begin cultivating before his martial soul awakened.

This brought some comfort to the Asura God. Slow birds could still fly far if they started early.

But suppressing his anger only made him angrier, and stepping back only made him feel more aggrieved.

"Damn it, I can't let this useless fool ruin my heir any longer," the Asura God growled.

Through the hidden divine consciousness embedded in the Killing God Domain attached to Tang Hao's Heaven Hammer, the Asura God subtly influenced Tang Hao's thoughts.

When Tang Hao originally entered the City of Slaughter, he had at least attained the rank of Soul Sage. But to avoid complications, the Asura God planted the suggestion that Tang San should enter the City of Slaughter upon reaching the rank of Soul Ancestor.

Though the City of Slaughter restricted the use of soul skills, it did not limit soul power.

While most soul masters relied on soul skills in battle, some advanced soul masters could directly suppress opponents with raw soul power.

However, the Asura God had complete confidence in Tang San's mastery of the Tang Sect's techniques and hidden weapons. After all, in Tang San's original world, these techniques and weapons had reached unprecedented levels of lethality.

The idea that a martial arts world's hidden weapons could rival the destructive power of missiles was truly astonishing.

True to expectations, Tang San achieved nearly 100 victories in the City of Slaughter within just a few years.

But the Asura God began to feel troubled. How could he transfer the divine trials to Tang San?

According to the divine realm's rules, he couldn't simply kill Tang Chen. This dilemma troubled the Asura God.

After all, the hidden moves on Tang Chen were orchestrated by the Rakshasa God. If the Asura God acted directly, he would surely be discovered.
