A shattered divine core might not necessarily be reclaimed by the gods of the divine realm, but if it were, the loss would be immense. After all, even in its damaged state, it was a highly concentrated source of Primordial Light essence—a genuine god-tier treasure.

However, a broken divine core would lose most of its divinity and its ability to constrain the god who wielded it.

For ordinary gods, their divine core was an existence tied to both their life and cultivation. When Qian Renxue's divine core was shattered, she was permanently unable to break through to become a Title Douluo again.

The relationship between gods and their divine cores was even more intimate. Unless they reached the level where they could generate divine power independently and sever ties with their divine core—while finding someone else to take the blame—the destruction of their divine core would result in their demise as well.

The minimum threshold for this was being a second-tier god. There had been no reports of third-tier gods abandoning their divine cores to freely roam the depths of the universe.

Lower-tier gods could absorb fragments of shattered divine cores to enhance their strength. Even if they didn't use them for power, they could restore their divine energy. For the Asura God, who was about to venture into the depths of the universe, this would be a convenient supply delivered right to his doorstep.

Although there had been online discussions in Ye Wen's previous life about the possibility of the previous Angel God being killed by the Asura God due to conflicting divine authorities, this theory seemed implausible.

The key inconsistency was why the Angel God's divine core had remained intact. The Asura God wasn't known for kindness—he wouldn't have left behind an opportunity for the Angel God's legacy to continue.

It was far more likely that the Angel God had been gravely injured and could only recover through reincarnation. In that case, she would have entrusted her divine position to a trusted friend to help her return and settle the score with the Asura God. Unfortunately, the person she entrusted likely proved unworthy.

After all, the "golden liquid" incident involving Qian Renxue couldn't be overlooked.

The evidence of Qian Renxue being the reincarnation of the Angel God wasn't her supposed innate Level 20 soul power but rather her mother's dual evil martial souls—Bibi Dong.

The bloodline of the Angel martial soul was fundamentally incompatible with Bibi Dong's bloodline. Such a clash would at best produce an ordinary child, or one with inherent deficiencies.

For reference, consider the Life and Destruction God Kings in the divine realm. Despite being a married couple, they hadn't produced children for years, largely due to conflicts in their divine powers.

Though Bibi Dong wasn't on par with a God King, under divine interference, it was plausible that her evil bloodline was forcibly suppressed while her potent life essence was preserved, allowing Qian Renxue to be born.

Manipulating bloodlines wasn't unheard of—even Tang San in Douluo II had dabbled in such operations.

Back to the topic—

As a divine position nurtured by Douluo Planet itself, Ye Wen had absolutely no reason to let the Angel divine core be destroyed or remain in the divine realm.

As for how to make Qian Renxue comply with him later—

Little Xue'er, surely you wouldn't want your dear grandfather…

Hehehe ()

But now, reflecting on it, this approach seemed unwise. Ye Wen hadn't yet fully understood this version of Qian Renxue's personality. If she was still a love-struck fool, she'd be a ticking time bomb.

With this in mind, Ye Wen began using his divine consciousness to search for Qian Renxue.

A mere fallen god like her posed no threat to Ye Wen. As the almost predestined successor to the next Angel God, she definitely wouldn't be hidden away in some remote location.

Sure enough, Ye Wen found Qian Renxue in a side hall belonging to the Shrine of Offerings.

At just over 20 years old, Qian Renxue was in the prime of her beauty. Her golden hair cascaded down to her waist, and her azure eyes were as clear and blue as the sky. She wore an opulent gown of gold and white, which accentuated her elegant and noble demeanor.

"Not even 25 years old and already a 76th-level Soul Sage. Qian Renxue's talent is indeed terrifying when she focuses solely on cultivation," Ye Wen murmured.

After all, the Angel martial soul was an extreme flame-and-light dual-element martial soul, notoriously difficult to cultivate in its early stages.

According to the divine realm's time ratio—one day in the divine realm equaled one year on Douluo Planet—if Qian Renxue truly was the reincarnation of the Angel God, she could return to the divine realm within a month to confront the Asura God.

Though it sounded absurd for a first-tier god to challenge a God King, Ye Wen was accustomed to humans forming factions.

While the Angel God couldn't match the Asura God, she likely had powerful backers—most likely the Goddess of Life or the Goddess of Goodness.

Speaking of which, Ye Wen wondered whether the Goddess of Goodness had reincarnated as the Flame Empress. He had read God of Wine back in his previous life, though he wasn't sure of the chronological order between that and Douluo.

After carefully examining the aura within Qian Renxue's soul, Ye Wen confirmed it wasn't an ordinary Douluo soul—it faintly carried traces of divinity.

It was similar to Na'er's, though Qian Renxue's aura was more pronounced.

Though the divine realm had five God Kings, the strongest were the Goddess of Goodness and the God of Evil.

If the Angel God's backer was the Goddess of Goodness, it made sense that the Asura God might have considered the consequences of the Angel God reporting him before deciding to silence Tang San.

No wonder Tang San was so unpopular after entering the divine realm.

While Ye Wen was contemplating his next move, a figure suddenly appeared beside him.

White-haired, green-eyed, clad in an ancient robe, the figure unmistakably exuded the aura of the Angel martial soul, with a faint trace of divine power lingering around him.

Ye Wen looked at the newcomer indifferently.

"Qian Daoliu?" Ye Wen asked rhetorically.

Qian Daoliu frowned. Earlier, while praying in the Shrine of Offerings, he had sensed a faint trace of divine power enveloping the shrine.

Upon investigating, he found this impossibly youthful man. Qian Daoliu was uncertain—this divine power felt familiar. It was the aura of the Sea God's divine power, which he had once sensed from Bo Saixi.

But Bo Saixi was far from reaching the end of her lifespan, so who was this person? What was his purpose in coming to the Spirit Hall? Had he really emitted that divine power earlier?

Ye Wen watched Qian Daoliu with boredom. Different levels of strength naturally brought different perspectives. His once-feared hypothetical rival now seemed to him like an insignificant insect, easily crushed with a flick of a finger.

"Don't bother thinking, Qian Daoliu. You're right—it was me observing your Shrine of Offerings earlier."

Realizing his suspicions had been confirmed, Qian Daoliu didn't panic but instead asked sternly,

"Who are you, and what brings you here?"

Ye Wen casually replied, "Nothing much. I'm just here to evaluate whether this generation's Angel God successor is qualified to inherit the divine position."

Upon hearing this, Qian Daoliu's expression changed drastically. A terrifying surge of soul power erupted from him as he stared at Ye Wen like a cornered beast.

From Qian Renxue's birth to her talent assessment, all related intelligence was classified as top-secret on the Douluo Continent. Now, having it laid bare before him, how could Qian Daoliu not be shocked?

But the moment Qian Daoliu unleashed his power, Ye Wen locked down the surrounding space, ensuring not a trace of his presence leaked out.

Given the current situation, Ye Wen had no intention of letting Qian Daoliu disrupt things.

If the overwhelming aura of a Limit Douluo were detected by spies in Spirit City, who knew what chain reactions might follow?

"Calm down."

As he spoke, Ye Wen placed his hand on Qian Daoliu, completely erasing the overwhelming aura that would have otherwise seemed like a natural disaster to ordinary people.
