The downfall of the continent's number one sect left the usually arrogant members of the Hao Tian Sect feeling deeply resentful.

However, after facing the terrifying soul power pressure from their elders, they came to realize something:

If even these high-and-mighty elders feared the Spirit Hall's strength, what right did they—mere nobodies who hadn't even reached the rank of Soul Sage—have to resist?

After a long silence, they could only hurriedly pack their belongings.

One by one, they fled for their lives.

As for the sect's affiliated forces…

They couldn't even take care of themselves, let alone worry about these subordinates who were essentially treated like servants in peacetime.

The affiliated forces within the sect wanted to flee alongside the Hao Tian Sect, but to avoid exposing the hidden sanctuary, only the direct lineage of the Hao Tian Sect was allowed to leave. These affiliated individuals were mercilessly driven out.

To intimidate these fearful affiliates, the elders even executed over a dozen people as an example.

Even the Hao Tian Sect's four staunch single-attribute families were cast aside like worn-out shoes.

As the saying goes: "Husband and wife are like birds in the same forest; when disaster strikes, each flies away."

Their relationship had always been one of mutual exploitation—or rather, one-sided oppression. Why would the Hao Tian Sect care about these people they had always looked down upon?

Tang Xiao watched this unfold with a heavy heart.

Back when they first encountered Ah Yu, the Great Elder had already revealed Ayu's true identity.

But Ah Yu was so naive it was almost laughable. She actually believed she could hide her identity from two Soul Douluo through prolonged interaction.

Since neither of them had yet reached level 90, there was no immediate need to hunt Ah Yu for her soul rings or soul bones.

Moreover, the Great Elder, the longest-living elder of the current Hao Tian Sect, knew far more than ordinary soul masters. He had once read in an ancient text that once a spirit beast transformed into human form, it could bear children with humans, and these offspring would possess extraordinary talent.

The generation of Tang Hao and Tang Xiao—the Twin Stars of Hao Tian —were indeed exceptional. But for some reason, the younger generation was mediocre, lacking in aptitude.

The Hao Tian Sect desperately needed a prodigy to secure its future.

Thus, the three of them began plotting over Ah Yu's body.

They wanted her soul rings and soul bones—but they also wanted her child.

However, one woman couldn't be shared between two brothers. So Tang Hao and his brother engaged in fair competition, and ultimately, Tang Hao emerged victorious, winning Ah Yu's heart.

Unfortunately, Tang Hao didn't know when to stop. After being beaten twice, he not only failed to learn humility but instead grew fond of bullying the weak. Rather than provoking powerful factions, he specifically targeted smaller ones.

Originally, the Great Elder had planned to bring Tang Hao and Ah Yu back to the sect to cultivate slowly. However, considering the numerous Title Douluo within the sect, if Ah Yu were discovered, everything might collapse. Thus, they allowed the two to wander outside.

Unfortunately, Tang Hao's luck was terrible. He encountered a rarely-seen Title Douluo from the Spirit Hall—a formidable opponent. Even under the Great Elder's ambush, the injured Title Douluo managed to escape and return to the Spirit Hall.

The value of a 100,000-year spirit beast went without saying.

Though the Spirit Hall didn't want to make a fuss, they still began searching for Tang Hao and others, planning to hunt them down. Tang Hao, on the other hand, learned to hide, retreating deep into remote mountains and forests.

Tang Xiao, having confirmed his relationship with Ah Yu, felt it inappropriate to stay by their side and returned to the sect to focus on cultivation.

The Great Elder had originally stayed nearby to protect them, but urgent matters within the sect forced him to leave.

These men completely failed to notice that Ah Yu was already three months pregnant at the time.

Fortunately, their location was extremely secluded—a deep part of the Hunter's Soul Forest. Tang Hao was instructed not to wander off and to wait for the Great Elder's return. Presumably, nothing should have gone wrong.

But the Great Elder's return was delayed far too long. By the time Ah Yu went into labor, he still hadn't come back. In desperation, Tang Hao sought help from a nearby village.

At this point, the Spirit Hall had already pinpointed Tang Hao's general location. As soon as he appeared, someone in the village noticed and reported him.

After all, in feudal times, strangers in rural villages stood out like sore thumbs.

This led to the subsequent battle.

"Fate works in mysterious ways," Tang Xiao sighed.

The nearby affiliated forces also received news from within the sect. They couldn't believe that the once-unstoppable Hao Tian Sect had abandoned them so easily.

But as the saying goes, speed is of the essence in warfare.

By now, the Spirit Hall's army had arrived.

Composed of Soul Masters at least at the Soul Venerate level, though somewhat disorganized, they were more than enough to terrify these affiliated forces.

At this moment, Bibi Dong, clad in sleek white-gold armor, sat atop a fine steed. With a cold gaze, she raised her hand.

"Annihilate them."

At her command, the soul master army erupted with murderous intent, charging toward the affiliated forces.

These affiliated forces had often acted arrogantly under the Hao Tian Sect's banner, committing all sorts of misdeeds.

But knowing their own low cultivation and status, they had no hope of the Spirit Hall avenging them. The Spirit Hall's soul masters had endured their abuses in silence.

Now, it was time for revenge.

"Stop! Our Wang family has already withdrawn from the Hao Tian Sect! You can't kill us—we're innocent civilians!"

"Ah! Help!"

"Fang Siyuan, weren't you always so cocky? Let's see how cocky you are today!"

"I'll fight you to the death! Patriarch, take the children and run!"

Amidst the chaos of battle, cries of despair and defiance echoed endlessly, painting a vivid picture of life's many facets.

A fallen phoenix is worth less than a chicken; a dethroned princess is no better than a prostitute.

This time, Bibi Dong didn't bother calling on other elders from the Elder Hall for assistance. She only brought her direct subordinates—Ghost Douluo and Chrysanthemum Douluo.

After all, Qian Daoliu had said it himself:

The Titled Douluo above level 95 in the Hao Tian Sect were his responsibility. The rest were merely tools for Bibi Dong to assert her authority.

She wanted all the forces on the continent to know that the new Pope was not only a Title Douluo but also an iron-blooded warrior unafraid of battle.

In the original story, Bibi Dong's title was never explicitly mentioned—she was simply referred to as "Bibi Dong" or "Your Holiness, the Pope."

Bibi Dong felt that no matter what name she chose for her martial soul, it would either sound bad or like a villain's moniker. So she asked Ye Wen to give her a title.

Spiders were creatures that relied on poison and webs, so Ye Wen blurted out instinctively, "How about Weaver Maiden?"

Though not particularly imposing, Bibi Dong happily accepted it.

After all, she still had a girlish heart.

By now, the Hao Tian Sect was deserted, save for Old Sect Master Tang Wei, who remained seated in the meeting hall.

"How nostalgic," Qian Daoliu remarked as he floated in, exuding an ethereal presence.

Sect Master Tang Wei glanced at this elder who had once been close friends with his father.

Trembling slightly, he rose to his feet.

"I am fully aware of the grave mistake I've made. I offer my life in exchange for my son's, and I humbly beg the Angel Douluo to spare the legacy of the Hao Tian Sect."
