Chapter 29 - Kiana was caught sneaking around?

Compared to Kiana, she had tragically missed the golden chance to stay close to Lunelle for the entire night—intercepted halfway by none other than Mei.

Bronya, who had initially resigned herself to not being able to hold Seele in her arms tonight, naturally accepted Mei's quiet offer to share her warmth instead.

"Um… Seele."

Without hesitation, Bronya climbed onto the bed with practiced ease. After scanning her options, she swiftly claimed the spot on Lunelle's left, her fingers snaking forward to gently clasp Lunelle's soft, delicate left hand—replenishing the "Seele element" she had been sorely lacking.

Meanwhile, Kiana could only watch as her cherished first wife Mei and her freshly acquired second wife Seele bonded so easily, completely ignoring her presence.

A sour feeling crept up her chest—something close to heartbreak.

She had pursued Mei for so long, and after endless efforts, their relationship had only just progressed to the point where hand-holding had become natural.

Yet this adorable girl who'd appeared out of nowhere had somehow slipped into Mei's embrace, and within a single day, had taken over the space beside her in bed.

Kiana's heart twisted like a crumpled ribbon.

A sharp, bitter jealousy flared in her chest. She was angry. Furious, even.

It felt like someone had changed the channel just when the drama hit its climax. The kind of anger that wouldn't go away even with coaxing!

And just as Kiana was about to direct her simmering frustration toward Lunelle—who was now cuddled up so sweetly in Mei's arms and looked almost too cute to be real…

Her expression froze mid-grumble.

Lunelle, cradled gently by Mei's arm around her waist, had unknowingly fallen into a peaceful slumber.

It was thanks to the powerful sleep-support feature built into the simulator.

Lunelle knew perfectly well she didn't stand a chance resisting her trio of overpowered Valkyrie wives. So, as the saying went—

"Running away may be shameful, but it's effective."

Choosing self-preservation over chaos, she'd dived headfirst into deep sleep to avoid the likely outbreak of a jealousy-fueled Shura scene.

Even though she'd been captured by the Three Great Families and her dream of becoming an Eminence in Shadow was shattered on the spot, at least she'd earned three elite bodyguards. Naturally, she intended to make full use of this short period of peace to accelerate the cooldown on her simulator.

After all, in Lunelle's mind, she was asleep. There was no way her wives would confuse her nap for death… or worse, force her awake to ask who she liked the most, right?

Besides, she'd only been pulled into Bronya's protagonist team less than a day ago.

Surely the others wouldn't do anything rash to someone they barely knew?

...Right?

No way…?

Clearly, Lunelle had underestimated her inexplicable magnetism to a certain type of girl.

Take Kiana, for instance, who was now staring blankly at her.

In the dim night light, Lunelle's pale, flawless skin shimmered faintly, as if kissed by moonlight—like an angel who'd fallen from heaven into Mei's arms.

Perhaps she was too innocent for this level of proximity. Even in her sleep, Lunelle's cheeks still held a soft, lingering blush from Mei's embrace.

Her modest, buttoned-up pajamas didn't reveal much, hiding most of her snow-white skin beneath thin fabric. Yet even as she slept, the subtle, sweet milky scent that clung to her body seemed to break free, no longer restrained by her conscious will.

Kiana couldn't help recalling the moment when she'd held Lunelle earlier. Even through a layer of clothing, her slim waist had felt impossibly perfect.

If only she could touch it again—this time, just a little closer…

Slurp!!!

Kiana, thoroughly entranced by Lunelle's cuteness, found herself slipping into dangerous, peach-tinted thoughts.

Just looking was enough to make her hungry.

But with Lunelle already monopolized by Mei, Kiana didn't dare act out. She was the obedient husband—for now.

Feeling increasingly antsy, Kiana forced herself to suppress her wild thoughts and quietly slipped into bed, curling up on Lunelle's right to steal a bit of warmth from her soft body.

Thanks to the simulator, Lunelle remained in a state of deep sleep, unshaken by external stimuli. Otherwise, if she could still doze off while sandwiched by three beauties, something would definitely be wrong!

However, as she lay deep in slumber, Lunelle found herself caught in a strange dream.

In that dream, she felt restrained—held down by a faceless, multi-armed creature. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't move.

At first, the creature merely bound her limbs.

But soon, the hands started wandering.

It began with polite touches, barely brushing her clothes. But before long, those hands grew bold—sneaking under the hem of her pajamas.

!!!

A jolt ran through her as she felt something cool and unfamiliar graze her sensitive skin directly.

[Is… is this a tentacle monster scenario!?]

Frightened, Lunelle squirmed and twisted in her dream, trying to escape the creature's clutches.

But no matter what she did, the rules of the dream wouldn't let her win. She had no countermeasures. She could only let those hands run wild.

Thankfully, the monster seemed to have a particular fondness for her slim waist. Though it could have done far worse, it remained fixated on that one spot—repeatedly stroking and teasing the sensitive curve.

Gritting her teeth, Lunelle endured.

She didn't know how long it lasted.

Under the relentless, high-damage attack, her imaginary HP bar flickered like a candle in a storm—ready to vanish at any moment.

But just when she thought she'd break, the many-armed creature finally relented, withdrawing its touch from her weary, trembling body.

Even after the dream faded, Lunelle's consciousness remained hazy. Then, suddenly—

Her sea-blue eyes snapped open.

And what did she see?

A hand.

Suspiciously lingering near the hem of her pajamas—just having slipped away.

Kiana: Σ(゚Д゚;)

Lunelle: (???)
