Wiping his dagger clean with a napkin, Kian leisurely walked toward the southern gate to see if Luan and Luciano had finished off all the bandits.
When he arrived there, he saw Luan covered in blood, seated atop a bandit corpse, staring into the sky; Kian sighed and, without delay, stopped next to Luan.
Without disturbing his lord, he just stood there waiting patiently until Luan would order him to do something.
The two stood there not moving a muscle for who knows how long. Kian was still trying to remember where he had seen the boss but gave up after a while.
Luan, on the other hand, sighed after a while and looked around, seeing Kian standing next to him with perfect posture and not a single drop of blood on his uniform, left him speechless. 'He really isn't an ordinary person. I did good in recruiting him,' he mused, patting himself on the chest.
