"It is not as I do not possess any heavenly artifact, nor have I been at the mansion," Yuki uttered with his head high. Anger brewed within his veins. Too many enemies surrounded him, but he knew no way was he going to let them get to him.
I was careless. I let my guard down.
"Your majesty, the arbiter has no proof but his words. While I have this hologram," the soldier countered Yuki.
The soldier took a blue stone from his pocket and used his qi to activate it. It showed the vicarious state of the maid that had died. Her limbs were dismantled, and her eyes had a look of fear in them.
