Chapter 6 - Chapter 6, Western Visit to Kunlun Mountain

Aoguang flew in from the side, looking at Bai Jin with deep resentment, like a little wife watching her husband being abducted.

Bai Jin reached out to pat Aoguang's shoulder, comforting him, "What's meant to be will come, what's not can't be forced, if it's yours it won't escape, if it's not, you can't beg for it."

Aoguang muttered, "I feel like that Innate Spiritual Treasure should've been mine."

Bai Jin glanced at him, chuckled, and said, "You're shameless, do your parents know about this?"

Aoguang blurted out subconsciously, "That old geezer is even more shameless than I am."

Bai Jin was speechless, what a family, they were not dragons, clearly just a bunch of shameless snakes.

Bai Jin said displeased, "Are we going out or not?!"

Aoguang nodded repeatedly, saying eagerly, "Yes! Yes! Let's go out now."

With a wave of Bai Jin's hand, the Da Hong Pao Mother Tree in the distance vanished and a big hole appeared on the ground. A ripple swept through the Space, and the two instantly disappeared from the Innate Undying Space.

At the foot of Wuyi Mountain, two figures emerged.

Aoguang stretched out his arms to embrace the sky, excitedly shouting, "Ah! The sky~ Ah! The sea~ I, Aoguang, am back~"

Slap~ Bai Jin gave Aoguang a knock on the head, saying, "Keep it down."

Aoguang yelped, holding his head, and glared at Bai Jin, defiantly saying, "You dare hit me?! I am the Dragon Prince!"

Bai Jin huffed and raised her fist, looking at him sternly.

Aoguang swallowed hard and put on a faux tough demeanor, "I am wealthy with the East Sea, commanding myriad Water Clan."

"Hehe~" Bai Jin's sleeves flashed the cold light of four Immortal Swords.

In an instant, Aoguang nodded and bowed, coaxingly appeasing, "Boss, any orders for me?"

"You are the Dragon Prince, I dare not order you."

"Dragon Prince? What Dragon Prince? Where is he?" Aoguang looked around confusedly.

Bai Jin was immediately amused by Aoguang, the future East Sea Dragon King was such a shameless character, and right away asked seriously, "Do you know of a mountain in the East Sea called Liu Bo Mountain that has a beast on it? It looks like a bull, a gray body without horns, a single foot, when entering the water it brings wind and rain, its light like the sun and moon, its roar like thunder, its name is Kui."

Aoguang blurted out, "The Kui Niu!"

Bai Jin eagerly asked, "You know of it?"

Aoguang nodded and said, "Of course! Kui Niu is also one of the overlords of the East Sea, with immense strength, even my father the King doesn't provoke it easily."

That's it, the steed destined for my Master, what about Bai He or peacocks, riding the Kui Niu feels comfortable, it's both imposing and stable.

Bai Jin immediately said, "I'll take you to the East Sea, and you'll take me to find Kui Niu."

Aoguang glanced slyly at Bai Jin and whispered, "If I take you to find Kui Niu and you start a fight, won't Kui Niu hold a grudge against me? I'm not going to do such an ungrateful task unless you give me something good in return."

Bai Jin asked, "What do you want?"

Aoguang's eyes suddenly sparkled, rubbing his hands together, "If you could give me that Innate Spiritual Treasure you just got."

A half-revealed, cold-gleaming Immortal Sword flew out from Bai Jin's sleeve, floating in front of Aoguang.

Aoguang immediately bowed at ninety degrees, gestured towards the east with his hand, and called out obsequiously, "Sir, after you please!!"

Bai Jin flew towards the east, Aoguang straightening up, wiping the cold sweat from his forehead and hurriedly following.

...

The gate of a palace on Upper Pure Peak of Kunlun Mountain burst open with a thunderous sound, a dignified figure emerged, imposing without anger, none other than Tongtian's first disciple, the Duobao Taoist.

With a flicker of divine thought, Duobao Taoist immediately sensed some unfamiliar presences newly arrived on the mountain.

Two elegant ladies approached from the side.

Wudang Saint Mother bowed with her hands clasped and said with a smile, "Congratulations, Senior Brother, on exiting your retreat."

Duobao Taoist returned the bow and said, "It's hardly considered a retreat; what exit is there to speak of?

Why has there suddenly appeared some unfamiliar auras on the mountain? Please, Junior Sister, enlighten me."

Wudang Saint Mother's mouth curled into a smile and she said, "They are all new disciples accepted by our Master."

Looking towards the female at her side, she said, "This is Jin Ling, Junior Sister, a new direct disciple accepted by our Master."

Golden Spirit Saint Mother bowed with her hands clasped and crisply said, "Senior Brother, I pay my respects!"

Duobao Taoist returned the bow and said with a smile, "Respects to you, Junior Sister."

Wudang Saint Mother said, "The others are Outer Disciples accepted by Master; I will have them come over to pay their respects later."

Duobao Taoist spoke indifferently, "Since they are merely Outer Disciples, there's no need for them to come."

Wudang Saint Mother advised, "After all, they are fellow disciples..."

Duobao Taoist shook his head and said, "Junior Sister, since Master has designated them as Outer Disciples, it indicates that they all have shortcomings and cannot embark on the path of the Great Tao. They and us are destined not to walk side by side; it is better for you, Junior Sister, to interact with them less, lest you get involved in the future."

"Dang--dang--dang--" Three bell sounds echoed through the skies above the Kunlun Mountain Range.

Duobao Taoist said in confusion, "Why is the Three Pure Ones Bell ringing? Let's go to the main peak, both Junior Sisters."

Wudang Saint Mother and Golden Spirit Saint Mother nodded their heads.

The three of them stepped onto an auspicious cloud and flew towards the Central Taiching Peak.

Moments later, in front of Taiching Hall, more than a dozen people gathered, whispering non-stop; Duobao and his two companions stood in front of them.

The door of Taiching Hall creaked open, and the whispering ceased instantly.

Taishang, Primordial, and Tongtian emerged from the hall.

More than a dozen disciples bowed in unison, loudly saying, "We pay respects to Master and to the two senior uncles."

A flash of displeasure crossed Primordial's eyes.

Tongtian chuckled and raised his hand, saying, "Dispense with the formalities!"

"Thank you, Master~" the dozen or so disciples chorused in reply.

Taishang's expression was neither joyful nor angry as he slowly said, "Duobao!"

Duobao Taoist stepped forward and respectfully said, "Your disciple is here!"

Taishang said, "Western Fellow Daoists, Jieyin and Zhunti, will bring their disciples for a visit; they are entrusted to your care for a proper reception."

Duobao Taoist respectfully replied, "Understood!"

Primordial Venerable swept a glance over the disciples below and said sternly, "And be sure not to fail in courtesy."

The many disciples unanimously responded, "Understood!"

Tongtian glanced at Primordial and said, "Nor should you lose your edge."

Primordial frowned and said, "Junior Brother, they are guests; how can we be confrontational and lose our demeanor?"

Tongtian said with a smile, "Senior Brother, if guests intend to oppress their host, of course we must push back."

Taishang said, "They have arrived!"

Primordial and Tongtian immediately stopped bickering; no matter how they argue among themselves at home, they still need to show harmony in front of outsiders.

From the West, a Golden Light Auspicious Cloud flew in, with several figures standing atop it; at the forefront was Jieyin with a grim face and Zhunti with a smile, followed by several of their disciples.

The auspicious cloud descended on the mountaintop of Kunlun Mountain and dissipated.

Taishang, Primordial, and Tongtian went forward to greet them, with Duobao, Wudang, and other disciples following behind.
