Lanaya spread her wings, a shimmering barrier of magic forming just before the flames could engulf her. The inferno split around her, but even through the shield, the heat was suffocating.
With a powerful flap of her wings, she sent a wave of concussive force, forcing Ignisar back. Then, she lunged, her claws crackling with energy.
