Chapter 71 - Chapter 70: The Ruins of the Uzumaki Clan

"Whitebeard, what about you? Are you coming with us or heading back first?"

"I'll go back for now! Just summon me when there's a fight!"

Yang Tao thought for a moment. "Alright! I'll call you if anything happens!"

There was no point in having Whitebeard tag along when there wasn't a battle. Most of the time would just be spent traveling, and he wasn't interested in the scenery of the Naruto world. He just wanted to be with his sons.

Besides, at over six meters tall, he stood out way too much no matter where he went.

With that, Whitebeard teleported back to the One Piece world.

"Orochimaru, just call me 'group leader.' And don't even think about running away. I won't put any restrictions on you, but trust me—if you leave, you'll be the one losing out, not me."

Yang Tao gave Orochimaru a warning. If he stuck around, the benefits he'd get would be huge. But if he ran, Yang Tao wouldn't bother chasing him. Worst case, he could just train someone else. The only reason he sought out Orochimaru was that he was an excellent scientist, which would save a lot of trouble.

Orochimaru wasn't too concerned about Yang Tao's words. After seeing his overwhelming power, he had no thoughts of resisting for now. And with the chance to study the secret of resurrection, there was no way he'd leave.

Besides, he wasn't being marked with a curse seal, nor did it seem like his freedom would be restricted. And on top of that, Yang Tao's ability to reflect attacks was something that piqued his curiosity.

With a respectful expression, Orochimaru said, "Don't worry, group leader, I won't run away!"

"Good. This isn't some underground group like the Akatsuki. We're just working together."

Orochimaru was a bit surprised that Yang Tao knew about the Akatsuki. But thinking about it, with the kind of power Yang Tao had, it was only natural that he knew far more than Orochimaru did.

Just then, Zabuza, Haku, and Kabuto returned after the battle had ended.

Looking at the battlefield, which looked like it had been bombed, and remembering the earth-shattering power they had just witnessed, their entire worldview had been shaken.

Zabuza now looked at Yang Tao with even more respect. "Sir, is it over?"

After all, the stronger Yang Tao was, the more likely his own wish could be fulfilled.

"Yeah, it's done. Orochimaru agreed to work with us."

Seeing the respectful look on Orochimaru's face, Zabuza couldn't help but think, "Agreed to work together? More like he got beaten into submission!"

"By the way, you guys are way too slow! I'll find a way to fly us there."

Yang Tao felt like they were taking forever to travel. At their pace, who knew how many days it would take to reach their destination?

He sent his request to Tony in the group chat, and Tony quickly responded, saying it wouldn't be a problem.

Before long, Tony sent over the item—a diamond-shaped flying shuttle, just big enough for five people. It had no extra features, just the basics.

When the group saw Yang Tao summon a metallic object with seats, they realized this must be the vehicle he mentioned.

Orochimaru walked around it, inspecting every inch but couldn't find anything that seemed like a control mechanism.

"Group leader, what kind of vehicle is this?"

To be honest, what Yang Tao had Tony make was basically just a shell with seats—to block wind pressure and nothing more.

Of course, it's him—who else could be faster?

"Just get on. Orochimaru, you sit in the front and guide me." Yang Tao instructed as everyone took their seats.

Once they were all settled, Yang Tao found his designated spot and sat down.

He activated the equipment, locking the entire vehicle onto himself, then slowly lifted off the ground.

Well, it was something put together in a rush, so it looked pretty rough.

"Orochimaru, guide the way. We're heading to the old site of the Uzumaki clan."

Orochimaru watched as the vehicle slowly rose into the air, feeling a bit surprised. It really could fly? But he wasn't too impressed—this speed was so slow that he could probably outrun it.

After scanning the surroundings, he pointed toward the direction of the Uzumaki clan's old site.

"Hold on tight! We're taking off!"

Now that he had a direction, Yang Tao controlled the vehicle and flew straight toward the destination.

A silver streak flashed across the sky.

"Too… fast…!"

Orochimaru, sitting at the front, was completely overwhelmed as the scenery around him blurred past at lightning speed.

Even though people in the Naruto world had insanely strong bodies, the sudden burst of speed was still too much to handle.

Of course, Yang Tao was keeping it under control—he wasn't even going at full speed. Otherwise, their blood vessels might have burst from the pressure.

"Leader, we're almost there!"

After a short while, Orochimaru pointed ahead.

Before long, they saw the ruins in the distance, and Yang Tao slowed the vehicle as they descended.

As soon as they touched the ground, Haku and Zabuza immediately jumped out of their seats and ran to the side to throw up.

"Huh? You guys actually got motion sickness? But my flying was so smooth!"

Yang Tao looked at them curiously as they kept vomiting.

Oh well, it wasn't a big deal. Now that they had landed, they'd be fine soon.

"Start looking for the Uzumaki clan's shrine—the one with a wall full of Reaper masks. That's our goal."

Everyone spread out and began searching for the shrine.

Not long after, Kabuto's voice came from the distance.

"I've found the Uzumaki clan's shrine!"
