Romeo paced across the lobby of what was a well-guarded building.
Aside from what he assumed to be guards for the building, there were also warriors from the Sunfire pack waiting.
When he'd introduced who he was, they told him to wait, even offered him a seat in the lobby, but Romeo couldn't stay seated. His mate was missing and Goddess knew what she was going through.
'Can you reach them? Feel them?' Romeo asked his wolf, desperate for a clue as to her condition.
'It's weak, or at least they feel weak,' Ryder told him.
Romeo let a low growl loose, catching the attention of the guards and warriors.
'I'm going to kill whoever took her,' Romeo hissed.
'They will pay,' Ryder said in agreement. 'I'll keep checking in on them and tell you when something changes.'
'Get some rest too,' Romeo told his wolf. 'When we get a lead I'll need you at your full strength.'
He felt his wolf agreeing before his presence faded.
