Eryon frowned at Lucian, trying to shake off his hand—but he couldn't. Lucian gripped his hand tightly, ice-cold and stiff like a corpse.
Eryon furrowed his brow and said in a low voice, "That's enough. I want to find my teammates. Nothing is interesting about your room—it's boring!"
"Isn't it a bit too late to be scared now?" Lucian said with a grin. His face gradually distorted, losing all semblance of humanity. By this point, he didn't even care to maintain a human appearance anymore.
Eryon's eyes widened as he shouted, "Let go of me!"
He threw his whole strength into breaking free from Lucian's grip. Maybe Lucian let him go on purpose—somehow, Eryon managed to escape!
He bolted for the door, trying to open it and flee, but no matter what he did, the door wouldn't budge. It was tightly sealed—just like the bathroom door that day.
