The Shed was rowdy as usual.
Shi Feng, Si Cheng and Yuan Shi stuck to Mu Shen like festering flies. He was annoyed, but did not voice his disapproval. And almost when the timer was in the last moment of counting down to zero, Jiu Wen and his boys arrived.
Mu Shen and Jiu Wen locked their gaze.
This was a gaze of promise. Following the phases of this trial, either one of them would survive the hell or both would simply die. Mu Shen already knows what to do — and that is to survive this hell. Nobody needed to tell him to survive. He did not even have anybody to worry about his well being and that was a relief.
Making enemies is actually normal in the lives of every cultivator which is the reason for every obstacle that cultivators face in their present lives. First of all, these obstacles, enemies and life and death experiences, makes cultivators achieve a bottleneck. Without a life fraught with danger, it is impossible for cultivators to improve themselves.
Mu Shen sighed.
