Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

The cool night air swept through the forest as a lone figure moved soundlessly through the trees. Dressed in a sleek black tactical suit,

Natasha Romanoff—codename Black Widow—stayed low to the ground, her every step calculated.

S.H.I.E.L.D. had sent her to investigate an unknown anomaly. Reports suggested an unidentified something had crash-landed in the area, setting off seismic disturbances and gravitational fluctuations.

Most agents would've dismissed it as faulty readings.

Natasha knew better.

Nick Fury didn't send her for just anything. If she was here, that meant this was serious.

Through the thick foliage, she peered toward the massive crater ahead. Smoke still rose from the impact site, the ground scorched from intense heat. But what caught her attention wasn't the damage.

It was the lack of a vessel.

No debris. No metal. No wreckage. Whatever had landed here wasn't a ship—it was alive.

Her instincts sharpened. Something's off.

She activated her earpiece. "Hill, I'm at the site. No signs of foreign tech, no visible threats. But whatever landed here… it walked away."

Agent Maria Hill's voice came through with static. "Acknowledged. Can you track it?"

Natasha smirked, eyes scanning the terrain. "I'll find it."

She moved forward, following the faint traces left behind—subtle indentations in the dirt, slightly singed grass, and the eerie stillness of the forest.

Whatever she was hunting… it wasn't human.

A few miles away, Gogeta stood atop a rocky outcrop, his gaze fixed on the distant city skyline.

New York.

Even from this distance, his enhanced vision let him see every light, every moving car, every life bustling below. This world really is the MCU.

He clenched his fist. Power hummed beneath his skin, raw and infinite. He could feel it—his Saiyan instincts urging him to push his limits, his Angelic energy whispering of something greater.

But right now, he had a different problem.

He wasn't alone.

His sharp senses picked up the intruder before they even reached him. Light footsteps, measured breathing, the slight adjustment of weight with each movement. Whoever was approaching him was an expert in stealth.

His lips curled into a smirk. S.H.I.E.L.D., huh?

He turned around. "You can come out now."

For a moment, nothing happened. Then, like a shadow melting from the darkness, she stepped into view.

Natasha Romanoff.

Her stance was relaxed, but her eyes were sharp, analyzing every inch of him. He could see the gears turning in her head, assessing whether he was a threat.

"You're a hard man to find," she said, voice smooth and unreadable.

Gogeta chuckled. "I wasn't hiding."

She took a step closer, arms crossed. "You caused quite the disturbance earlier. S.H.I.E.L.D. doesn't like surprises."

"Funny. Neither do I."

For a brief moment, silence hung between them. Then Natasha tilted her head slightly.

"What are you?" she asked. No fear. Just curiosity.

Gogeta considered his answer. He could lie, play it safe. But something about Natasha—her unwavering confidence, her lack of fear—intrigued him.

He smirked. "I'm… complicated."

She didn't react, but he could see the shift in her stance—just the slightest adjustment in her footing, preparing for anything.

"So, you're not going to give me a straight answer?" she mused.

He shrugged. "Would you believe me if I told you?"

She stared at him for a long moment, then sighed. "Try me."

Gogeta exhaled, glancing at the city again. He could feel the weight of this world's future pressing on him. The threats that would come. Thanos. Loki. The real dangers that the Avengers wouldn't be ready for.

Maybe… he should tell her something.

"Fine," he said. "You want the truth?"

She didn't answer, just waited.

He lifted his hand, focusing for a moment. A soft, golden glow surrounded him as his energy flared—controlled, but undeniable. The air vibrated, the very fabric of reality seeming to hum around him.

Natasha's eyes widened just slightly.

"I'm not from this world," he said simply. "I wasn't born here. And I'm far stronger than anything you've ever encountered."

She didn't flinch. Didn't move. If she was surprised, she hid it well.

"That supposed to scare me?" she asked.

Gogeta laughed. "No. Just letting you know what you're dealing with."

She studied him for a long moment, then—unexpectedly—she smiled.

"Well, Gogeta," she said, "you just became S.H.I.E.L.D.'s biggest mystery."

He smirked. "Good. I like keeping things interesting."

She shook her head, pulling out a small device from her belt. "Fury's going to want to meet you."

Gogeta shrugged. "I'll think about it."

As she turned to leave, he watched her go, intrigued.

This world was going to be fun.

And Natasha Romanoff?

She might just be the most interesting part of it yet.
