Still unsure about the test results from his family's hospital, Julian decided to visit a public hospital in Southlake City. There, he underwent a full round of tests once again.
The doctor studied Julian's test report with a serious expression, "Mr. Walker, your report—"
"Doctor, is there something wrong with my body?"
Seeing the doctor's serious expression, Julian actually felt relieved, and without waiting for the doctor to finish, he cut him off.
The doctor's expression turned slightly awkward when he saw Julian's hopeful look, as if wishing for bad news.
'Is this how geniuses behave? So… different from ordinary people.'
"Doctor, why aren't you saying anything? Is it serious? Am I very sick?"
With two Unown inside him but no trace of them in the tests, Julian was starting to panic. If the tests finally revealed a problem, he might actually feel more at ease.
"Mr. Walker, you're misunderstanding."
"What I meant was that your body is incredibly healthy, with all your indicators in the perfect range."
"May I ask about your usual diet and lifestyle? Do you frequently consume certain supplements or special nutrients? This could provide new insights for nutritional science."
His eyes were practically gleaming with curiosity, like a child discovering a new toy.
Julian rolled his eyes, "Late-night gaming, hotpot, and barbecue."
Without waiting for a response, he turned and walked out of the hospital.
After two rounds of tests with flawless results, Julian had to admit that his body was probably fine.
However, he couldn't shake the thought that today's technology might simply be incapable of detecting what was truly happening inside him.
Julian leaned toward the second possibility.
'I saw the two Unown enter my body, and then my psychic abilities jumped from intermediate to advanced. How could there be nothing wrong with me?'
The strange thing was that Julian couldn't sense any Unown aura from himself. It was as if they had fully merged with him, becoming an inseparable part of his being.
Even Lucario confirmed the same thing.
At the moment, Julian possessed:
- Advanced aura abilities,
- Advanced psychic powers, and
- The Mega Pallet Town physique.
In terms of raw human strength, he was likely unmatched.
However, when it came to fighting Pokémon, he would probably struggle to arm wrestle a level 20 Pokémon—and still lose.
After all, human reflexes simply couldn't compete with Pokémon. Even with the Mega Pallet Town physique, which greatly boosted his strength, his reaction speed remained on par with most humans.
Without quick reflexes, dodging Pokémon attacks would be extremely difficult.

"Grandpa, can you come to Imperial University today? There's something really important I need to discuss."
"Hey, Aunty, are you free today? If you have time, come to Imperial University. I have something you'll absolutely love."
"Uncle, are you in the capital right now for a meeting? When you're done, can you come by my university? I have something I need to talk to you about. I've also called Grandpa and Aunty."
Julian called his family members, and all three agreed to come.
He didn't call Jake, mainly because with Grandpa coming, it didn't matter whether Jake showed up or not. Since they were both trainers, as long as one came, it was enough.
At the National Trainers' Association, John turned to his secretary and said, "I won't be attending the afternoon meeting."
The secretary was stunned and asked, "But you're the chairman for that meeting. If you don't attend, what's the point of holding it?"
"Just postpone it until tomorrow, and help me book the earliest flight to the imperial capital today."
"Understood," the secretary nodded.
The National Trainers' Association wasn't located in the imperial capital but was built next to a top-tier secret realm in the country.
This top-tier secret realm was the most dangerous one in Drakoria, without exception. Every year, the Pokémon inside would surge out of the realm for various reasons.
Thus, the National Trainers' Association was established right beside it. In the event of a Pokémon outbreak, they could suppress it immediately.
And at least one Champion-level trainer was always stationed at the association.
At the 2022 International Economic Summit in the capital, Henry Walker had just finished his meeting. After receiving Julian's call, he told his secretary, "Cancel tonight's dinner with the two CEOs from S.A. Corporation."
"Understood, Chairman Walker," the secretary nodded immediately.
At the White Mountain National Research Institute, Quinn Walker took off her lab coat and instructed her assistant, "I have to step out for a bit. Keep a close eye on the experiment's progress. If anything happens, notify me immediately."
"Got it, Dr. Walker."
The assistant nodded. Then, out of curiosity, she asked, "Is something urgent going on, Doctor?"
Quinn was a textbook Pokémon scholar—the type who could stay in a research facility for six months straight without stepping out.
Since the experiment had reached a critical stage, the assistant found it strange for Quinn to leave now.
"Just feeling a little stifled. I want to take a walk," Quinn said casually.
Of course, she didn't reveal the real reason, even though she trusted her assistant.
She had a strong feeling that Julian must have something important to discuss, or he wouldn't have called both her father and elder brother.
Why didn't he call second brother?
Could it be that Julian and Jake were having some kind of father-son conflict?
At eight o'clock in the evening, at Julian's villa.
Aside from Jake, the entire Walker family had gathered.
"My good grandson, why are you being so mysterious? Did you find something in the Ancient Kingdom Ruins?"
John quickly made the connection, realizing that Julian had just returned from the ruins and then immediately called the whole family over.
"Julian, is what dad said true?"
Henry asked curiously.
"Did you find some valuable research materials?"
Quinn's eyes lit up with excitement.
"I did make a significant discovery in the ruins."
Julian nodded, then took out a Poké Ball and said, "Let me show you something."
As the Poké Ball opened, Magearna appeared before the three of them.
"A new species of Pokémon that has not been discovered, and judging by its color, it should be Steel-type."
Quinn was the first to speak. As a Pokémon scholar, she was familiar with every known species. The sight of Magearna, a Pokémon she had never seen before, instantly piqued her interest, and she accurately identified its type at a glance.
"A new Steel-type Pokémon, huh? I wonder how strong it is," John muttered.
"Julian, have you found a source for this new Steel-type Pokémon? If so, with the right operations, this could be incredibly profitable," Henry said.
A scholar, a trainer, and a businessman—each viewed the situation through their own lens, and all three perspectives were valid.
"This is far more than just a newly discovered Steel-type Pokémon."
Julian shook his head, if it was merely a new Steel-type species, there would have been no need to call all three of them to the university.
Magearna's existence far surpassed the significance of just being a new species.
